My mind flutters and stomach tightens at the thought of him watching me there…Maybe MAYBE He is jealous…

“What do you mean by why?? It’s late and your brother is not here,it’s my responsibility to make sure you are fine….And it’s good that I done it….And yaa,,Sanskar told me that you are out and you’ll be back”..

Disappointment splashed in me…..of course it’s your stupid brain..Why on the Earth the hottest Lakshya will be jealous for you..the plain Jane…

“And this is not over here…I want to ask Sanskar why he let you go out,that too to some blo*dy club with that….” I look at his clenched fists….How much I wish to touch that and…..what??? What did he say, club …. “Club??What made you think so??” Anger starts rushing in me….How can he assume things… blaming me, reminding how stupid I am….Can’t he see I m shocked and furious as he is….

“I m not stupid,Ragini…I can absolutely sense alcohol …..He was drunk and you were with him…..You know what I want to do now…I feel lik….” Lakshya stopped as the door opened and Sanky entered twirling his car’s key….WHAT WAS HE GOING TO SAY??….Alchohol really?? But it was a dinner and Rohan didn’t drink,,atleast I don’t see him doing that….Was he really drunk?? How come I missed it then…Now Lakshya is going to ask Sanky about this….Literally I m screwed….

“Oh baby girl came” Sanky throws himself near to me,maa was behind him…She was fanning herself with towel…..

“See na Ragu,Don’t you think maa is looking like Shilpa Shetty now” He chuckled teasing maa..Maa smiled widely…

I cut her in middle aware of Lakshya’s presence or else he’ll understand STUPIDITY is hereditary in my family…….:..Maa huffed and glared at Sanky…Sanky laughs…..She looked at me

“Ragu baccha are you okay?? Wait you are not…..Are you hungry??? I ll make you your favorite…”
Maa,no I just had my dinner..it’s just..,little tired”….She looked at me intently…..

That’s my maa,,yaa she is funny, crazy and all but she can sense me…..
And she clearly knows where to push and where to pull…….

This is the best thing about mothers…..They know you are upset over something still don’t push you to spill the beans…..They wait for you to say that,whenever you feel to….ATLAST IT’S ALWAYS MAA’S LAP…THE ULTIMATE SOLACE……

“So,What’s Swara saying?” Sanky asked me referring to my date…I gulped….
That’s the information I gave him,that I m going to Swara’s house…If he come to know it was for a date.. he’ll chop me into pieces..

“She dropped you?”Sanky asked again.

“She is good and yes she dropped me”..I said

I saw Lakshya narrowing his eyes at me..I give him a pleading expression meant not to tell Sanky anything…..He turned his eyes from me and stay silent…Thank God for that or else that Rohan will die now itself…..Lakshya’s ‘Treat’ is enough for him….Definitely he can’t afford Sanky’s Gift……You can’t guarantee on Sanky’s response…

“So what were you both doing”
ohh why can’t my sweet brother can’t stop..He is making situation worse.Now Lakshya will be furious on me..I know where my bhaijaan’s interest lies on ,’SWARA GADODIA’…My bestie…..He want to know what all she said….Did she laugh? “That moron Lakshya..Who is he..Your Daddy bear…You should ask him to stay away from your matters”…Swara hissed.

“Why are you blaming him Swara, He saved me…If not he’s there,don’t know what should have happened….That Rohan was so strong..”

“Seriously Ragini, you know what you won’t change…Infact I feel angry on you….How can you lie to me,Ragz?? yaa Rohan was wrong but not more than Lakshya…Your love for him was so evident and I don’t believe he didn’t recognized it till now….He knows and still acts like he don’t…Quit the chapter girl..Good night”

She cut the call without waiting giving me a chance to speak…..What is it today “ANGER ON RAGINI DAY”…..I face palmed myself….Yaa Swara is right…I should have told her I m going out to avoid Lakshya…She was so excited that finally I agreed on a date….She herself make me ready….Oh Ragini, see what have you done…….

But what can I do….If I tell Swara the next second she will perform a Modern Durga Maa in front of Lakshya for haunting me…Then it would be Wowwww…..That girl have an amazing guts….Who else can beat up a boy with your new high heels for saying White is much better color than Black….And for me Swara is concerned than my Parents….If some one hurts me,Shona is all set with a knife to shove them….
