Geetanjali Mishra replaces Kamna Pathak to play the new Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan

In March, we reported that Kamna Pathak, who played Rajesh Happu Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, had decided to leave the show after being a part of it for four years. Last month, she exited the show, and since then, the makers have been searching for her replacement. It has now been confirmed that Geetanjali Mishra has been chosen to portray the new Rajesh Singh.
According to a source, they were looking for someone who could quickly connect with the audience and considered various names. Eventually, Geetanjali Mishra was selected for the role as she perfectly fits the requirements. However, both Geetanjali and producer Binaiferr Kohli were not available for comment.
Kamna took the decision to take a break from work in order to take care of her unwell mother and also attend to her knee injury. This break was necessary to focus on personal matters. Geetanjali has appeared in several shows, including Kundali Bhagya, Balika Vadhu, Naagin 3, Rangrasiya, Aghori, Prithvi Vallabh, Maati Ki Banno, and Diya Aur Baati Hum. Her last TV appearance was in Ek Lakshya, and she will be returning to the small screen after an eight-year gap.
Happu Ki Ultan Paltan features a talented cast including Himani Shivpuri, Yogesh Tripathi, Gazal Sood, Sonal Panwar, Sapna Sikwar, Aryan Prajapati, Kishore Bhanushali, Zaara Warsi, Sharad Vyas, and Sanjay Choudhary. The show premiered in March 2019 and is set in Kanpur, revolving around the life of cop Happu Singh (Yogesh Tripathi), his mother (Himani Shivpuri), his wife Rajesh Singh, and their nine children.
