In a recent interview, Gaurav shared insights about his preparation for the role, including the use of prosthetic makeup to achieve a convincing transformation.

Gaurav expressed his enthusiasm for portraying a real-life character, highlighting the importance of recognizing the contributions of lesser-known freedom fighters who played significant roles in India’s journey toward independence. He mentioned that while he had previously played various fictional characters, this role presented a unique opportunity for audiences to question and appreciate his work as an actor. Regarding the extensive preparation required for his role, Gaurav revealed that his entire face, hair, and beard underwent drastic changes through the use of prosthetic makeup. The process of getting ready took approximately six hours, offering him a valuable opportunity to learn and unlearn various aspects of his craft. After working in the industry for a decade, Gaurav expressed his eagerness to step out of his comfort zone and explore diverse roles.
