The news of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s spin off, Yeh Hai Chahatein, coming to TV are doing rounds since quiet some time now. With the trend of spin off doing great, citing the example of Kumkum Bhagya and it’s spin off Kundali Bhagya, YHM’s makers too decided to try their hands at it.
The idea got toyed around for long but then the news died. Now the sparks are igniting again as we hear that not Karan Wahi but Abrar Qazi will be essaying the lead role in the series. Qazi is currently seen as the leading man in Gathbandhan and had an amazing role to play in Amazon Prime Video’s The Family Man.
He will have actress Sargun Kaur opposite him as the female lead. She was playing the leading lady in Tantra and here too she will take the center stage. As for Abrar, the jigsaw comes together as his show Gathbandhan is all set to go off air too. While we are a little sad that Gathbandhan is coming to an end, this news still lights up a smile.
