Ganga wakes up in the morning, and finds a new dress on the side table. She walks out of her room in veil and looks around. Thumki comes from behind to wish her good morning, Ganga replies. Thumki taunts this is her used saree that Ganga is wearing, and suits her. She demands to see Ganga’s face, but Ganga denies as Dai Maa has forbidden to remove her veil. Thumki says that restriction is for elders and male, but she is younger by relation. She forces the veil away, Ganga strictly says she shouldn’t have done this. Thumki asks why Ganga is so egoistic, after all Ganga came in this house after her. Thumki taunts she brought 3 tola gold with her, and Ganga could not even get her own clothes. Kushal comes to send Thumki away for some work, and introduces himself as Ria’s (Shiv’s sister) husband. He tells her to share if she needs something. Ganga moves towards her room, Shiv brings the doctor to check Ganga. The doctor shuts the door while Shiv awaits outside the room. The doctor says its amenesia, temporary memory loss; maybe she recalls in a few days, months or may be years. She is suggesting a few medicines, which will give them a clue about her future treatment plan. Shiv comes to Ganga and requests her not to tell anyone about memory loss, as his family is already upset because of his father’s death. He leaves a bag which her uncle had loaded in the car, may be it contains a few of her valuables.
Ganga looks at the clothes in the suitcase which were not hers. She wonders why these clothes are not her measurements if they are hers. A photo wrapped in the clothes fall off. Dai Maa brings a new saree for Ganga as she has to attend Lok Sabha. Ganga shares with Dai Maa that she is really clueless, these clothes brought with her are not her measurements. She wonders when her memory would return. Dai Maa says she must pave her own way just like her name accepting her present, and not to look back at the past. Ganga agrees.
Later, Ganga gets ready in the room and wears the mangal sooter. Then covers her face with a veil. Outside in the hall, people share their mourning with Thumki. Shiv objects with Thumpki’s over makeup, but she was stubborn. Pratab argues with the Pandit that there was no Pagri written in the list. Shiv comes to solve the matter, and sends Shiv to get 10-12 dhotis for Pagri ritual. Pandit considers only Shiv as worth holding family’s responsibilities. Savitri asks Ria about Aashi. They watch Aashi come with white flowers that she places in front of the photo. Pandit tells Shiv to light a flame along with his wife. Dai Maa goes to bring Ganga. Radhika was enraged watching Ganga come inside. Savitri watches Ganga’s face in the shadow of water and asks if Ganga didn’t put sindoor. Ganga replies she forgot. Savitri sends Ria to bring the sindoor, and asks Shiv to put it over her head partition; but without looking at her. Ganga gets a vague flash of sindoor ritual with Sagar, her head bangs and she almost lost her balance while Shiv holds him. Savitri sends her inside. Thumki comes to say to Radhika that her new mother only wants to snatch everything from her since first day. In the room, Dai Maa tells Ganga to take rest, as she hasn’t eaten anything since morning. Ria and Aashi come to the room and assures Ganga they are good sister in laws. Ria introduces herself, Aashi and Shiv to Ganga. Ria tells her about the dresses Savitri sent for Grahpravesh; Ganga nods as they all leave.

PRECAP: Ganga finds Parvati’s painting over the wall and exclaims it to be beautiful, Dai Maa agrees that Parvati was really beautiful. In the room, Ganga was about to hold a vase when Shiv comes and forbids her even touch anything here.
