CHAPTER 7: LOVE IS IN THE AIR?!!
PRECAP: We got to know that, siya is the one betraying vansh and riddhima has become adamant on revealing siya’s truth in front of everyone.
SCENE 1: Riddhima is in her room when Vansh knocks on the door.
Riddhima: One second i am coming…..Vansh, do you need anything?
Vansh: As a matter of fact yes, i need you to come down and select your wedding dress and jewellery.
Riddhima: When is the wedding?
Vansh: Since a lot of things are happening around, i thought we should get married today itself and dadi has spoken to the priest also, he said today is a very auspicious day..
Riddhima: Today itself?
Vansh: Yeah, any problem?
Riddhima: No i dont have any problem, i will come down in a few minutes….
Vansh: Ok, till then others will choose.
Vansh leaves.
Riddhima’s pov: I have to reveal to Vansh that siya can walk before this marriage happens, but i know he wont believe me, i have to do something that siya herself reveals that she is perfectly fine…
Riddhima comes down…
Siya: Riddhima come and select your dress….
Riddhima: Yeah siya.
Vansh: You people carry on, i have a few calls to attend…
Rest of them also leave to do their chores and only riddhima and siya are left and when siya tries to leave, riddhima stops her
Riddhima: Siya please wait, maybe you can help me in selecting the dress.
Siya: Sure riddhima.
Riddhima brings siya near a curtain.
Riddhima’s pov: I am sorry siya, but i have to do something right now!
And she puts a candle near the curtain and slowly walks away from there….soon the fire spreads in the hall..
Riddhima: Siya wait, i will call Vansh…..
Siya’s pov: Ughh, i cant burn in this fire and i can also not get up from this stupid wheel chair and why is no one coming yet, i will shout and soon that Vansh will do something to take me out…
Siya: Vansh bhai!!!! Please save me..
Vansh: Siya!! Hold on i am coming…..
Riddhima’s pov: Vansh cannot save Siya right now i have to hold him back…
Riddhima stands in a place where the fire is more!
Riddhima: Vansh help me, please!!
Vansh: Riddhima!!!!
He jumps directly into the fire without even thinking…and on the other hand fire near siya escalates and she stands up from the wheel chair…
Siya: Bhai please help me!!
Vansh: Siya i am coming.
He gets her out…and everyone is shocked to see siya stand….
Vansh: Siya are you alright??Talk to me!
Siya: I am fine Vansh Bhai, how is Riddhima doing?
Riddhima: I am fine Siya, but the good news is your walking again!!
Vansh: Yeah, how did that happen?
Riddhima: It happens all the time Vansh when the patient is in extreme shock or fear this tends to happen, its nothing bad,you should be happy.
Vansh: Yeah, you are right..but how did the fire start, there were no short circuits or fire anywhere near then?
Riddhima: Vansh i think this calls for a celebration, anyway no one got injured right!
Dadi: Yes Vansh, riddhima is right and today moreover you both are getting married tonight, be happy!
Vansh: Yes dadi.
Dadi: Now everyone, get back to work and let siya rest.
SCENE 2: Siya calls kabir to tell what happened.
Siya: Hello kabir?
Kabir: Yeah tell me, did something happen.
Siya tells about the fire incident.
Kabir: Is riddhima alright? And how could you be soo careless you could have waited for a few more seconds right that Vansh would have saved you!
Siya: I know, i waited but he went on to save riddhima first and the fire escalated!!! I had no option but that riddhima covered me with all her medical stuff saying that it was a shock and all!!
Kabir: Ok thats good, riddhima thinks you and dadi are the only ones good in the house she should be in that dilemma only!
Siya: Yeah ok!
Siya cuts the call.
Kabir’s pov: Siya said that Vansh saved riddhima first when his so-called sister was in danger! Wow, he has started loving riddhima more than his own sister which means he will trust her more than anyone in the world….this love is going to be dangerous for him as his love will be the path to his destruction….
SCENE 3: Riddhima is getting ready for the marriage….and ishani comes in to take her down..
Ishani: Lets go,i dont what did Vansh Bhai see in a middle class cheapo like you…are you done getting ready?
Riddhima: Yes lets go…
SCENE 4: Riddhima comes down and vansh is stunned….they both start the marriage rituals….
The marriage is done and both riddhima and vansh come to vansh’s room…
Vansh: I know your not happy with this marriage,and we will start our relationship only when your ready, i am not going to force you or anything…
Riddhima: I have question can i ask?
Vansh: Sure.
Riddhima: Since you know that i was the one who went into that room, can you tell me who was that girl…whose pictures were hung..was she close to you…
Vansh: Really you want to ask about that? Then i guess i might have to say i cant answer that question..
Riddhima: Fine dont answer that question…tell me this why do you act so tough huh? As if you dont care or love people…why is it so hard for you to accept your own feelings?
Vansh: Why do you think like that?
Riddhima: Because today you saved me first, instead of siya, that siya who you care about so much why, why do you care about me all of a sudden?
Riddhima goes into the washroom to fresh up.
Vansh’s pov: I also cannot answer that question, but i just cant see you in pain, i feel a sense of responsibility towards you and i dont know why?
Dadi: This all you should say when she is here, Vansh when will you understand that this is called love, why do you want to run away from that feeling, why dont you tell her you love her?
Vansh: Dadi, because i know she doesn’t love me and she will never accept my love…
Dadi: So Vansh Raisinghania who is not afraid of anything is scared that his wife will reject him, unless you tell her or make her realise that you love her how will she know Vansh. OK i have work i am leaving.
Dadi leaves.
Vansh’s pov: Dadi is right i have to make riddhima realise how much i love her, but Dadi didn’t tell me how?
SCENE 5: Its the first day after marriage and vansh is still sleeping on the couch and riddhima takes a bath and comes out
Riddhima: Today is the first day after marriage i cant be late! And i have to wake up Vansh also, yesterday i had heard him speaking on the phone that he had an important meeting at 11:00 and its 10:00 and he still hasn’t woken up……….Vansh wake up you will get late….vansh
Vansh: Good morning what is the time?
Riddhima: Its 10:00.
Vansh: What!! Oh shit i will be late damnn it!!
Riddhima: Vansh relax dont worry, go and fresh up..
SCENE 6: Riddhima comes down.
Dadi: Good Riddhima, you came finally where is Vansh?
Riddhima: He is getting ready.
Dadi: Oh, he is never usually late right?

Dadi: Ohk, you come with me to the kitchen,we have to do a ritual…you know right, you have to make something for the family…so what will you prepare..?
Riddhima: Yeah i know dadi….I am thinking about making something sweet like kheer?
Dadi: Ok, Mrs.Dsouza will help if you need anything ok?
Riddhima: Yeah, sure.
Dadi: And dont add any dry fruits Vansh doesn’t like it.
Riddhima: Does he have any allergy?
Dadi: No, he generally doesn’t like them, ok i will leave you start preparing.
Riddhima starts preparing the kheer. Ishani comes in.
Ishani: Oh, you are making kheer? Please add dry fruits i love them.
Riddhima: But ishani your brother doesn’t like it right?
Ishani: Oh please, now even food will be according to him?
Ishani leaves. Everyone is waiting on the dining table for kheer.
Riddhima: Here you go everyone kheer!
Dadi: But, riddhima i told you not to add any dry fruits right, then why did you add now Vansh will not eat it.
Riddhima: I know dadi, but trust me he will taste it you dont worry.
Dadi: Ok, take this to the room, he said he had an important call to attend.
Riddhima: Ok.
SCENE 7: Riddhima takes the kheer in a cup and gives it to Vansh
Riddhima: Dadi told to give it to you…here take it…
Vansh: I am sorry i would have eaten it..if it didn’t have the dry fruits.
Riddhima: Ok fine, tell me did you ever taste the dry fruits and thats why you dont like it?
Vansh: No, i just generally dont like them..
Riddhima: See you dont like a thing and dont even have a strong reason for it, just try it once and then if you still dont like it, when next time someone asks tell them i dont like the taste.
Vansh: Fair enough.
He tastes and his face has a surprised feeling.
Vansh’s pov: The same taste, just the way she used to make it!
Vansh: Its really good and the dry fruits, they are also good.
Riddhima: See i told you right.
Vansh: Yeah.
Riddhima leaves the room and comes down to the hall.
Dadi: Did he eat?
Riddhima: Yeah, and he liked it.
Dadi: Ok, today we all are going to our farm house, so get ready and tell Vansh also.
Riddhima: Dadi, i am so tired and i dont think so i am up for any journey right now, i even had a little temperature in the morning.
Dadi: Oh really, ( She touches her forehead) You were right, you should take little rest, you dont come then.
Vansh: I will also stay back, afterall my wife is sick , i will take care of her.
Dadi: Ok, take care beta.
After a while everyone leave and only riddhima and vansh are in the house!
Vansh: Here take this( He gives her a gift).

Vansh: Dadi told that i have to give you something because its a ritual since you have done good in the kitchen as a prize.
Riddhima: Wow, thanks but you didn’t have to.
She opens the gift and she finds a beautiful gold bracelet with a heart and infinity symbols on it.
Riddhima: Wow, Vansh this is beautiful thanks.
Vansh: Its ok, i will get you soup wait, and you should really rest.
Vansh’s pov: I thought she will understand the hidden meaning in that bracelet that” i love her to infinity” but she didn’t! when i tell something which doesn’t have a hidden message she thinks there is something but when i am giving her something with hidden message she doesn’t get it weird.
Vansh: Here take the soup.
Riddhima: Vansh, i just have a little cold and fever, stop treating me like i am patient.
Vansh: Riddhima, stop acting like a child and drink this soup, i made it.
Riddhima: Fine!……..Ughhh Vansh this doesn’t even have a taste what kind of weird soup is this , i want to eat something, something sweet like a cake.
Vansh: What is this cake fantasy of yours all the time?
Riddhima: I dont know i just like it…
Vansh: I dont know how to make the cake and we are not ordering from outside either.
Riddhima: Fine, then i will only go and make it myself..
Vansh: NO! Fine i will do it.
Riddhima: Wow, it would be such a delight to watch THE MR.VANSH RAISINGHANIA cook!!
Vansh: HaHa not funny at all!

They both go to the kitchen and vansh struggles to find ingredients…
Vansh: You are really enjoying seeing me like this right!
Riddhima: Well, as a matter of fact yes..

Vansh completes baking the cake with great difficulty and asks riddhima to taste it.

I know what you meant by giving this bracelet to me but i have to turn you just like the way you were in the past that was the vansh i loved…now you have built this wall around yourself and your heart that you think whenever you love a person you will find only disappointment, i want to change that vansh..
Vansh: Now if you are done will you go and rest?
Riddhima: I have to talk to you Vansh. I know you said that we will start our relationship only when i feel like it and until then can we be friends and enjoy just like how we are right now?
Vansh’s pov: This will be the correct way, i will slowly make her realise about my love.
Vansh: Yeah sure.
Kabir is in the house looking at them.
Kabir: How romantic! I wanted Vansh to fall in love with Riddhima, but here i see love even in Riddhima’s eyes, this was not in the plan, i was not prepared for this to happen. NO!!NO!! this cannot happen,Riddhima you love me not that Vansh, the plan was always you find the clues, betray him and you comeback to me!! Riddhima we are the perfect pair remember…..No, no Riddhima is only mine Vansh, though i used her as a pawn, i love her man!! when, how i dont know but she is mine Vansh i wont let you take her away from me…..Riddhima now this kabir is going to change the whole game for Vansh, now i will come between you two!!
