FLASH FROM THE PAST(ARNAV’S PAST):
SCENE-1
Arnav,Varsha and Vicky finish their lunch…They come to their class…By then Arnav saw one of Sanjay’s friends,Varun coming out of the class hurriedly..He was tensed on seeing Arnav,Varsha and Vicky there..Arnav notices him and doubts him…Varsha goes and sits in her bench…Arnav checks what that guy has done…He finds a wire coming out of the window…
Arnav : Stop…Don’t go inside…
Vicky : Hey…Arnav…I ate a lot…I want to sleep man..
Varsha : Hey Vicky… U do sleep in class hours too nah??Wait..He asked u to stop na??
Arnav goes out and sees the wire coming from the switchboard from outside…Current passes through it…Arnav gets inside and finds the wire below Varsha’s bench…Varsha removes her slippers and is about to place her leg over that wire…Arnav asks her to put on her slippers and come out…
Varsha : What happened Arnav??
Arnav : See..There is a live wire under ur bench…
Varsha : What??
Varsha and Vicky are shocked…
Varsha : But why??
Arnav : I think its Sanjay’s plan…That Varun went out of the class when we came nah? He was tensed…I had a doubt over him and it is confirmed now…Sanjay is trying to revenge on u…How dare he do that?? Let me go and ask him…
Varsha : No Arnav…Let me go and ask him…
Arnav : Its ok Varsha…I will go…
Varsha : Wait..I m coming with u…
Both of them go to Sanjay who was sitting with his friends in canteen…
Varsha goes in front of him and throws the wire in his face…
Varsha : U coward…If u want to win over me,u should fight directly…Not like this…Trying to kill me by giving electric shock…Shame on u…Ur plan backfired…U idiot…Better luck next time..
She goes saying that…Now its Arnav’s turn…
Arnav : Sanjay…I have a piece of advice for u…U should have brainy people around u…Ur friends are fools and u are the head of this foolish gang…(laughs) Next time,when u plan against us,please make the plan perfectly so that it does not backfire…Because,u are the villain..U have to be terrific…But now u have become a comedian…(laughs) And one more thing…Ur friend Varun’s tensed face created doubt in my mind…He is useless.. Varsha and Arnav are back in the class…
Varsha : Thank u so much Arnav…If u did not see it,I would have gone to paradise by now…
Arnav : No Varsha..Nothing will happen to u…U have a very good heart…And its my duty to take care of u…
Those words echoed in Varsha’s ears…”It is my duty to take care of u”…She felt amazing when he said that…

Its evening…Arnav,Varsha and Vicky come out of their class..Vicky leaves…Varsha and Arnav were talking…By then Varsha sees Meera coming at a distance…
Varsha : (thinks) Oh God…This girl has come as she said…I should not let her meet Arnav…What can I do now??(to Arnav) Arnav…U go home…Its getting late…
Arnav : Why Varsha? Its 5 o’ clock only…I usually go at 5.30 Only nah??
Varsha : No no..U go…Aunty will be waiting for u…
Arnav : But Varsha…
Varsha : No more questions..Plz go Arnav…Its getting late…
She pushes him…

She gives the key to him and asks him to go…Arnav leaves…

Meera comes near Varsha…

Meera : What?? I asked u to make him wait nah??(disappointed)
Varsha : Actually I forgot…No no no…Actually his dad is ill…So he went home earlier..I will make him meet u tomorrow…
Meera : Pinky promise??

They go to their hostel…

Meera and Varsha are in their room…Varsha feels guilty that she did not introduce Arnav to Meera…
Varsha’s pov :
Meera is my best friend…I like her so much…But today why did I do so?? I am cheating her…I should have introduced Arnav to her…But what if both of them fall for each other?? No no…That should not happen…But I don’t understand one thing…How does that matter to me?? I should feel happy if they love each other…Because both of them are very close to my heart…If they are happy being in love with each other I should actually feel happy…What can be the happiest thing other than seeing our loved ones’ happiness…But I cannot let them meet each other…But why?? What is running in my mind?? Am I feeling insecure about Arnav??
The call from Meera stopped her thoughts…
Meera : Varsha…Come here…See this…U will laugh after seeing this…
Varsha goes and sits with her…Both of them watch the movie…

Days pass in a faster pace…Arnav had saved Varsha from Sanjay many times…Varsha is slowly attracted towards Arnav…Everytime Meera comes to meet Arnav,Varsha gives lame excuses…Its their second semester time and its their study holidays…Varsha ,Arnav and Vicky do group studies…Varsha could not concentrate on her studies…She leaves to her room…
Varsha’s pov:
Why I am not able to concentrate in my studies?? What happened to me?? I am acting weird these days…God…What is this??
Meera looks up and sees her…
Meera : Sweetheart…U came earlier today??
Varsha : Ya dr…I am not feeling well…So I came..
Meera : Oh God..Ur friends too went??
Varsha : No..Vicky had gone…Arnav is there…
Meera : What?? Arnav?? Come lets go…Introduce him…
Varsha : (looks at her with jealousy) He might have gone by now…I will introduce tomorrow…

Ya…I have seen in the movies…Jealousy and insecurity are the starting point of love…But Arnav is my best friend…He is more than that…He has taken care of me everytime…Because of him,I don’t miss my family…I am feeling happy and comfortable whenever he is around…I am feeling secure…He has taken care of me,saved me,encouraged me,supported me,LOVED Me…But what if this love is not the same as my love for him?? She hears some roaring sound behind her…She finds a dog standing behind her…It is the mother of the puppy…It started chasing her….She runs having the puppy in her hand…Arnav sees this from a distance…He asks her to put the puppy down…She does so…The dog went with its puppy…
Arnav : What is this Varsha??
Varsha was panting…Arnav makes her sit…
Varsha : I helped the puppy…I think its his mother dog…It began chasing me…
Arnav laughs uncontrollably…Varsha looks at him without blinking…
