Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this episode, i will be uploading the next episode……

Shivaay and Anika both slipped into sleep
Days were passing by….Shivaay used to take updates of the man , sundari bua and her caretaker….Anika taught Sahil on variety of topics that could help Sahil win the competition….A week passed by

Anika ”Sahil….today is your flight…remember you agreed to all my conditions…don’t do anything that will shatter me…”
Sahil ”i wouldn’t Anika didi…i will do what will make you happy”
Anika ”i know, you worry a lot for me…but i can handle myself pretty well…so just concentrate on your competition and win it…all the best Sahil” she spoke hugging him
Sahil ”Anika didi…i will win this for many reasons…i need to win this ”
Anika ”you will…let’s go…i will drop you till airport”
Sahil ”i am not a small kid Didi..i will go alone…you too need to go to your new office”
Anika ”my joining, i postponed it for a month, as my previous company has asked some last windup things and i informed my new company the same…the new project that i am to take up in the new company will be starting after a month…so all set like that”
Sahil ”you manage so well didi…i hope i too manage everything the same”
Anika ”hmm..now don’t butter me….you have sufficient funds right? in any case you need anything just let me know”
Sahil ”but you asked me not to call you”
Anika ”let me know when i call you…don’t act smart…i am still your didi”
Sahil ”it’s difficult to win an argument over you didi”
Anika remembered how Shivaay used to say the same dialogue to her….she felt a pinch to her soul…..she quickly came out of the situation
Sahil ”now let’s go…i really don’t want to miss the flight”
Anika nodded and locked the house….took her car and put the luggage in …she drove towards airport….Sahil didn’t speak anything…Anika saw that…she too was feeling sad…Anika had definitely kept sahil away from her all these years, but she ensured he is just one or two hours drive away from her , not beyond that…
Anika dropped Sahil in the airport and bid him bye wishing him all the best in whatever he is trying to achieve…Sahil smiled and thanked her in his heart and got into the plane…..The flight took off and after a travel of 10 hours landed in Mumbai……
Sahil touched the ground as soon as he landed and took a deep breath…..
Sahil ”Shivaay Jiju…i have come ….i have come to make you meet my Anika didi…i have come to return Anika didi’s happiness…and when i know it’s you with whom her happiness lies, how can i not do this”

Tej ”Shivaay, Are all the arrangements for the world Technology and business quiz done?”
Shivaay ”yes bade papa…i am personally looking over all the arrangements”
Shakthi ”and accommodations for the contestants and delegates?”
Shivaay ”om and Rudra are on that work…all the important delegates from different companies will be personally received by Om , while contestants needs and accommodations will be handled by rudra”
Shivaay ”auditing and convening is under your vigilance bade papa and papa, while all these works will be verified checked and taken care by me at every point of time”
Tej ”i completely trust you Shivaay…”
Shivaay gave a slight smile and left from there to be on job….Sahil reached the accommodation arranged by the Oberois…his eyes searched for Shivaay, Om and Rudra….he saw Rudra welcoming each and every participant…..
Sahil stood there…Rudra came to him….
Rudra ”Hello…welcome to the world Technology and business quiz…may i know your name and can you show me the invitation letter”
Sahil ”yeah sure….here they are Rudra bhayya”
Rudra was stunned…he looked at him
Rudra ”how do you know i am Rudra…and you called me Rudra bhayya ? why? do you know me?”
Sahil ”no…i have closely followed this competition from it’s launch since 5 years and my seniors have said about you three brothers…i am basically Indian so called you so…i am sorry”
Rudra ”that’s not a problem Sahil”
Now it was turn of Sahil to get shocked …he looked at him surprised
Sahil TAM ”how can he recognise me as Sahil…i mean how is this possible?”
Rudra ”ohh sorry…i took your name as Sahil…it’s Sunil right…welcome Mr.Sunil Chaturvedi…all the best for the competition….your room number is 306…please have a nice stay”
Sahil ”you can just call me Sunil….i am comfortable with that”
Rudra ”sure…see you bro very soon”
Sahil smiled after looking at rudra for a while and left to his room………after getting freshed up , his mobile rang
Sahil ”Anika didi”
Anika ”sahil….did you reach safe…is everything fine there”
Sahil ”Anika didi…i met Rudra bhayya sometime before”
Anika sat down in the sofa with a thud…and went silent, she was shivering with mixed emotions….
Anika ”how…how …how is he?” she controlled her tears and voice and asked stammering
Sahil ”he has become much more handsome didi…and i suppose he is helping the oberoi’s in organising the event…guess what he called me Sahil too”
Anika ”whaat?” she sprang from sofa and spoke ”but how..i asked you not to reveal about your real identity to anyone of them…then how could you do so?”
Sahil ”relax didi….he misspelled my name….instead of Sunil he called me as Sahil…it was a right mistake” he smiled
Anika ”uff…you scared me…Sahil remember , don’t forget anything what i said….and just call me didi not Anika didi…okay?”
Sahil ”okay dii”
Anika ”chal..all the best” she tried to say something else
Sahil ”tell me tell me…what are you trying to tell”
Anika ”how did you know?”
Sahil ”if you are my dii..i am your brother…i can know this much” he spoke upping his collar
Anika ”can you send me the ..?”
Sahil ”pics…you were trying to ask me whether i can send you the pics of obros…isn’t it?”
Anika ”hmmm”
Sahil ”why pics dii…you can watch the live streaming…i am sending you the URL ”
Anika ”love you Sahil”
Sahil ”love you dii…ok now i must leave…the competition will be starting in an hour and i must reach the venue too”
Anika ”ok fine”
The call got disconnected and Anika received the live streaming URL as message from Sahil…her lips automatically curved upwards and her heart beat got raised too………

Everyone reached the venue…the inauguration was done….Sahil’s eyes were constantly searching for Shivaay ….that’s when Om came on to the dias and welcomed all the judges, participants and host…..
Sahil’s smile broadened and he remembered his association with Om in OM…
As soon as their names were called, Sahil and his teammate went and took their place on the stage….the competition finally began…every student was genius in his own ways….but Sahil and his teammate did outbeat the other participants….
The day was about to end with Sahil making it into next round…
He was still searching for Shivaay…..when Om came to him

By the time Anika got connected to the live streaming, Om’s welcome speech ended…when Om came to Sahil, the live streaming ended….Anika was disappointed…..
Anika ” i just want to have a glimpse of all of them….they all are so good except Mr.Ritchie Rich..but the days I spent with him are the most beautiful days of my life …and i really miss them….but my 2rs fate….the less i talk about it, the better it is” she spoke to herself and sighed

Sahil looked at Om and Om reciprocated the looks….
Sahil ”hello Om bha..i mean Mr.Omkara Singh Oberoi…” he forwarded his hand for a handshake
Om ”Hello Master.Sa” he tried to remember the name
Sahil ”Sunil…i am Sunil”
Om shaked hands with him
Sahil ”were you searching for us?”
Om ”No…actually i just came to say that, your performance today was outstanding…since the launch of this competition 5 years back none has actually answered all the questions as you did today…we all were so impressed, that’s why i came to congratulate you…keep going Sunil…wish you all the best”
Sahil ”ohh this is all the hardwork of my didi…she trained me perfectly for last one week and here i am with ” he smiled
Om ”then i think i must congratulate her too…where is she?”
Sahil ”She lives in her country…”
Om ”ohh ya ..i understand…but you can for sure tell me her name isn’t it?”
Sahil ”Ani..” he paused
While Om looked at him suspiciously
Sahil ”Anu …her name is Anu..my Anu dii” he stammered and corrected
Om ”congratulate your Anu di on all our behalf too…good luck..i must leave now”
Sahil ”ya sure…nice meeting you”
Sahil walked towards the bus that takes to the hotel and Om walked in other direction
Om TAM ”Why do i feel i know him pretty well…and why did he lie about her sister’s name….definitely her sister’s name is not Anu…it’s something else…the way he paused first, then stammered and corrected himself while saying his sister’s name is making me suspect all this…anyways…i must let this go and concentrate on my other works”
Sahil TAM ”i almost was about to spill Anika didi’s name….i promised to agree all the conditions laid by Anika didi and i will make all of them meet her without violating anything”
————————–Next Day of competition
The next day of competition started, there were variety of questions asked on business and technology….all the contestants put their best foot forward and so did Sahil and his teammate…
Anika on the other hand was watching everything on her laptop and was getting excited , clapping her hand whenever Sahil gave right answer…when she saw Sahil nervous, she used to shout the answer and used to scold him …she was way indulged in the quiz and felt like she was the one participating…jumping on sofa or getting tensed, biting the nails or crossingthe fingers, she did everything in excitement and anxiety….
As expected Sahil qualified for the final round…
The host spoke ”The next round will decide the winner of this years World Technology and Business Quiz….he will have the opportunity to chose his choice of company where he want to be groomed , also a whopping prize amount of Rs.1 crore from the Oberois…but…but ..but ..the catch is the contestants will be asked the questions from all the delegates that have arrived here from different companies and countries…so it will be a live question -answer session and even we don’t know who will ask what…so all the best contestants…may the best team win”
The day of competition ended and everyone returned to their stay…Sahil couldn’t see obro’s and so did Anika…both were disappointed….
———–FINAL DAY OF COMPETITION
Anika called Sahil
Sahil ”Didi…how are you?”
Anika ”tell me how are you? ”
Sahil ”i am okay..”
Anika ”no ..you are nervous..and i know why…you are worried as how to answer the unknown questions from unknown persons …am i right?”
Sahil ”you know me very well didi”
Anika ”listen Sahil…this round is just to test your spontaneity , nothing else…take a short pause after you listen to the question and then place yourself in the situation and think what will you do…then answer the question…you will never go wrong”
Sahil ”you are the best didi”
Anika ”uhuuu…you are the best brother in the world…am already missing you sahil…donno how will i stay for two months ”
Sahil ”now don’t be senti…let me prepare myself…bye”
Anika ”bye , all the best” she disconnected the call

The final round started on time….there were many questions asked and the teams that qualified in the final were giving their answers…..
Then came a voice from the crowd ”I have a question to ask” …Sahil turned towards the direction from where the voice came…..the camera’s were turned towards the person who took the mike….
Sahil’s eyes twinkled and a smile appeared on his face….on the other hand Anika who was watching the live stream recognised the voice and waited for the camera to turn towards the person…..there stood the person with bluish green or greenish blue orbs, a stubble beard, sharp nose, tightened lips, properly gelled hair, a three piece suit looking confidently towards everyone…..beside him sat his soul and breathe..Om and Rudra…..
Tears rolled down Anika’s cheeks without her knowledge and number of emotions ran at the same point making her lose composure, while Sahil’s condition was no different except that he had to control them….
Anika ”i wish to listen to him once…i really wish to listen to him once….speak up Mr.Ritchie Rich…let me hear your voice” she spoke to herself
Sahil TAM ”Shivaay jiju…my Shivaay jiju…the reason why i came here, the reason why i worked so hard to reach this point….the reason of my Anika didi’s sorrow, the reason of my Anika didi’s happiness….i just want to run to you at this point and say that i am Sahil….Sahil Chaturvedi and make you meet Anika didi….why am i stopping…let me break all the rules and tell him who i am…yes…i will do this right away…..” he stood up and was about to walk
Anika saw that and thought
Anika TAM ”No Sahil…no…i know how you might be feeling now and what you are trying to do…but don’t do it…you agreed to all my conditions…now you cannot break it….please Sahil, please….sit back and compose yourself”
Sahil was about to walk when his teammate pulled him back asking him as to what happened…Sahil came back to senses and took his seat ….
Host ”So there we are with Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi with the last and final question to the contestants…right now Nederlands and Germany teams are at tie …this final question from Mr.Shivaay Singh Oberoi will decide the winner of this year competition”
Everyone were eagerly waiting for Shivaay to question…..
Host ”over to you Mr.Shivaay…you may proceed to ask your question”
Shivaay ”My question is
”i have a partner who is trying to steal data of my company…you have identified the issue and the partner , what will you do first? you would inform me about the partner or would you inform me after collecting the proofs? what will be your action plan?”
Anika understood why Shivaay asked that question…she was surprised that he still remembered….
Both teams were thinking for a while, when the German team pressed the buzzer to answer first
German team ”we would first inform you about the partner who is cheating you so that you become alert, then we would proceed with the necessary actions as per your direction…so that we both are aligned ”
Anika’s fingers were crossed , she spoke ”Come on Sahil,….think what can you do…though the other teams approach is correct but it will give no fruits …you can do it Sahil …come on”
Host ”Team Nederlands , your approach to Mr.Oberoi’s question?”
Sahil ”i would neither report first nor provide proofs first….”
Everyone were shocked while Shivaay and Anika had a tinge of smile on their lips
Host ”what?”
Sahil ” I would neither report first nor provide proofs first…i would first prevent the fraud company to steal anymore data…then i would call for an emergency meeting with you and let you know the scenarios happened and the action we took…so that you can assess the losses and proceed with your decision of how to move further…this will be my approach to the situation you specified…thank you”
Everyone clapped….Anika had a big smile on her face….she remembered the flashback……

We always assume that when a conversation takes place, it’s usually over the phone or in the face, directly. How could we forget that heart is an important part of the body which “feels”! How could we forget that even when we are miles apart, we are always bound by the communication of the heart. Dil se Dil Tak! Oh….
