Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this episode, i will be uploading the next episodes……

Shivaay and Anika got into the flight to Bangalore….Shivaay helped Anika in adjusting…the flight takes around an hour to reach Bangalore….Anika was watching through the window …everything seemed so tiny to her…she enjoyed every bit of her flight, while Shivaay enjoyed every bit of her sight….
They landed and reached the bus station to take the bus to Kodaikanal…..
Shivaay ”So many people and so much of luggage…how i wish there was a flight to kodaikanal …ohh God how will i manage”
Anika held his hand and pressed it assuring everything will be alright…he smiled at her…
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich ready to get the new experience of your life? A long bus journey…approximately 8 hrs…i am sure you will love it”
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…did you see how many people are here and look the bus is already half an hour late”
Anika ”that is common Mr.Ricthie Rich”
Shivaay ”I donno what else i will experience…”
Anika ”whatever you experience, it will become a new memory and the best memory…trust me”
Shivaay ”not bad Ms.Surpanaka …sometime you talk sensible too”
Anika ”what?”
Shivaay ”nothing…come we get into the bus”
Anika and Shivaay entered the bus….they took their seats…They spoke about the competition and Anika was feeling drowsy…
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka i think you are sleepy…sleep now”
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich , you too sleep…else you will lack sleep”
Shivaay ”i am not comfortable in sleeping in a bus”
Anika ”wait…let me take off the handrest from between” she took off and continued ”now come and put your head over my shoulder…come on …come on..it’s okay”
Shivaay was surprised , Anika looked at him moving her eyebrows up and down as if asking ”what?”…he nodded ”nothing ”…she signalled him to rest his head on her shoulder…he put his head on her shoulder….again a tinge of nervousness ran down her spine…she smiled and closed her eyes turning her head towards the window….they slipped into sleep …
The morning rays fell down through the windows on Anika’s eyes…she shrunk her eyes still with closed eyes…but it was no use…the rays were strong and warm…she opened her eyes and saw Shivaay sleeping in the same position..his hair out of place because of the movement of bus….his hand holding hers….she stared at him for a while, smiled a little and rested his head properly with other hand , not taking off his hand from her’s ….and
Anika TAM ”How cute he looks while sleeping…i just feel like giving a slight kiss on his forehead… a good morning kiss…oohh…what crap…how can i think so…but he really looks cute yaar…should i just kiss…ohh no…stop your stupid thoughts Anika…have you lost it…what will he think of you…yeah what if he wakes up …uff …let me look through the window and get some diversion”
Anika came out of her thoughts and looked through the window…but she couldn’t just divert herself…she once again looked at Shivaay still sleeping, resting on her shoulder, holding her hand tight….she took a deep breath and then placed a gentle forehead kiss not disturbing him…she smiled and murmured ”Can’t help Mr.Ricthie Rich….you look so cute that i just couldn’t stop myself…sorry for this..but i have no bad intention” she tried to justify her act
while she was murmuring , Shivaay woke up …he looked at Anika and fake coughed to draw her attention…Anika looked at him with widened eyes thinking he might have woke up with what she did and might have listened her murmurings…..
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka.. i ..i am sorry..i was so tired that i …”
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich …that’s okay…you need not explain….”
Shivaay ”waise will they not stop the bus anywhere..i mean it’s morning na?”
Anika ”we will be reaching in an hour”
Shivaay ”okay”
A strange silence prevailed for sometime…
Both together at the same time ”Now speak something”
Anika ”first you”
Shivaay ”ladies first”
Anika ”that’s why i said you first”
Shivaay ”what the wuck”
Anika giggled….
Shivaay ”wait i will kill you right now” he held her neck playfully….she too did overaction of getting choked, bringing her tongue out sideways, tilting her head and moving eyeballs upwards…..they both laughed and gave hi-five to each other
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…you know what …our jodi will be the best of lot”
Anika ”what?”
Shivaay ”no…nothing…i was saying about the competition”
Anika turned towards window and smiled closing her eyes …..
The hour passed by and they finally reached Kodaikanal..they got down collecting their luggages and reached the hotel…..the rooms they were allotted were opposite to each other….
Both got freshened up and got ready….Anika was about to open the packet given by Prinku, but Shivaay knocked the door…she placed the packet under her clothes thinking it to open later and went ahead to open the door……
Shivaay ”hey Ms.Surpanaka shall we have breakfast and get back to preparing for the competition”
Anika ”sure..”
They went ahead and came back to the room after having breakfast and sat down to study for the competition round 1, that was going to be held on the same day evening….
During the study, Anika fell asleep resting her head on the edge of bed sitting on the carpet…Shivaay looked at her and lifted her up to place her on the bed…….the moment he placed her on bed… she instead of resting her head on the pillow rested it on Shivaay’s lap and comfortably slept…Shivaay smiled and sat there not disturbing her, he held his book with one hand and started reading it while brushing her hair with another….the time passed by and before two hours of the competition she got up……
Anika ”Ohh God” she screamed soon after opening her eyes
Shivaay ”what…what happened …why are you screaming” he sprang up tensed
Anika ”i slept Mr.Ritchie Rich…and you didn’t wake me up” she spoke tensed
Shivaay ”it’s ok Ms.Surpanaka …i will handle it” he spoke while getting relieved
Anika ”it’s about teaming up Mr.Ritchie Rich…what if i don’t perform well…what will i answer our friends, HOD and deen? Ohh shoot….how can i sleep” she almost broke into tears
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka relax…relax…nothing will go wrong” he tried to make her relax
Anika was not in a mood to understand and was panicking…..Shivaay placed his hands on her lips and said
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka relax and just look at me”…. Anika looked at him ….”Do you trust me?” she nodded in YES…”then listen, nothing will go wrong…remember you are super gal and can do anything…this competition is nothing for you…you are already prepared but i wasn’t..now to support you i had to study right…so just chill” he spoke rather calm
Anika smiled looking at him….Shivaay moved forward and kissed her forehead and patted her cheeks asking her to get ready as it’s time to move to venue …..Anika held his hand and said ”thank you” ……Shivaay pulled her and hugged her saying ”my pleasure” huskily in her ears…
A shiver went through her spine and she involuntarily hugged him back smiling and felt relaxed……….
They reached the venue and were taken into the makeup room to get their minimal makeover done to make them presentable before camera’s….
Anika came down and she was looking very pretty, Shivaay just couldn’t take off his eyes…..Anika raised her eyebrows looking at him…he nodded in no and came to her and they both took their stands…..
A prominent anchor came on to the dias and took the program forward….
A total of 8 teams were selected from all over India and the first round would filter out 4 teams….second round will further filter two teams making only two teams forwarding for the final round and one among them would get to be the winner…..
Very soon the first round was started….there was a neck to neck competition as every team was champions in their own way….Shivaay and Anika managed to barge into second round by coming in third position in the first round…..
Everyone were pressurised, tensed and what not during that one and half hour of competition…The host announced to stay tuned to know what happens in second round….the show ended for the day….
The condition of Shivaay and Anika was no different…they marched to their hotel as soon as possible and went to their rooms letting each other know to meet in a short time…..
After sometime…Anika knocked Shivaay’s room door…..he opened it slightly and pulled her in quickly…..
Anika ”what…what happened?”
Shivaay ”Don’t ask me….i forget to bring my night clothes….i just can’t be in these formal clothes whole day…now what to do?”
Anika burst into laugh and said ”sorry i don’t have mens clothes to give you”
Shivaay ”ha ha ha very funny…tell me do you have any idea”
Anika ”yeah..if you have money we can shop somewhere around”
Shivaay ”do you think there will be any good store now?”
Anika ”yeah..how will i not know…i know entire kodaikanal…i was born here and this place belongs to me….everyone know me and salute me too….i know every nook and corner…as i said i have been born and brought up here” she spoke sarcastically
Shivaay ”ok cut it…i understand you are pissed off with my question…i generally asked it..you know ..this is how normal people speak”
Anika ”normal people speak…so that means i am abnormal?”
Shivaay ”i didn’t say that”
Anika ”you meant that”
Shivaay ”Ohh God..you start anywhere…i mean you don’t need any specific reason to argue…you can just pick it up from any point”
Anika ”excuse me…i didn’t start..it was you who started with a stupid question…i gave the solution but noo…you had to make me argue…you are at fault”
Shivaay ”no …you are at fault”
Anika ”it’s you”
Shivaay ”you”
Anika ”You…you…you…huhh” she turned folding her hand putting up against her chest to the other side…Shivaay too turned folding his hands putting them against his chest to the other side…….few minutes passed by and slowly both turned towards each other and laughed …..
Shivaay ”we both are something else…”
Anika ”that is true…now shall we go and fetch some cloth stores before it gets cold and dark”
Shivaay ”after you Ms.Surpanaka”
They both walked and tried searching some cloth stores , finally they found one….Shivaay selected some and Anika selected some for Shivaay…Shivaay left what he opted and bought what Anika selected…Anika was surprised and smiled for his gesture…Shivaay too looked at her smiling and turned before she looks back……they started walking back…. as it was hill station , the cold was getting severe…
Anika ”we must go back quick ..i am feeling too cold…”
Shivaay gave her a shawl that he bought just then without her notice…
Anika ”When did you buy this?”
Shivaay ”when you were smiling to yourself”
Anika ”you saw that”
Shivaay ”hmm..yes…you look cute while smiling and i can’t miss watching my super cute Ms.Surpanaka smiling”
Anika ”you are making me embarrassed”
Shivaay held her hand once again and pulled her close ”I mean it Ms.Surpanaka” he spoke looking into her eyes….Anika didn’t reply anything, she was nervous and a light shade of red came on her cheeks…she just bent her head down unable to look at him too, yet not leaviung her grip on his shoulders….Shivaay left her and when she was about to walk ..he held her hand and together they walked till the hotel not forgetting to get their dinner packed in between……
Shivaay ”Ms. Surpanaka keep both our dinner in your room..i will be back after getting freshened up…while eating i have something to show you which might help us for tomorrow’s competition”
Anika ”hmm..okay”
Anika set the dinner and waited for Shivaay…he came with some books and sat near the small tea table where Anika set their dinner….
Anika ”come Shivaay…have the dinner and later you can show me and we can discuss”
Shivaay ”you start eating..i will join you soon..because i can’t wait and i am very excited to show some interesting things..i was dying to show you these topics which might help us”
Anika ”okay…i am hungry”
Shivaay ”just pull your chair here so that i can let you know”
Anika did the same…shivaay was showing her…she tried to eat but didn’t feel like eating without him eating…she picked up a piece of roti dipped in the daal and took it to his mouth..he involuntarily opened his mouth still in excitement of letting her know the things …he spoke with a bulged voice because of food in his mouth…she listened to him carefully, while feeding him and ate too….the dinner was over and shivaay too explained Anika what all he thought to tell her…..
He was about to leave to his room …Anika didn’t speak a word and started cleaning the table …he turned towards her and said
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka..”
She turned after cleaning her hands…
Anika ”yes Mr.Ritchie Rich…now what?”
Shivaay held her hand and said ”Thank you”…Anika thought for a while…then she pulled him and hugged him and said ”Good night” huskily in his ears
Shivaay smiled and left from there…Anika closed the door… stood holding the door knob and smiled with blushing on…the condition of shivaay was also no different…
The next day also seemed no different and shivaay -anika as expected marched into the finals….the final day of competition arrived….Shivaay and Anika prepared themselves to deal and win it….the final round was the toughest of all….they had to give an innovative business idea and if the panel of judges like it…they win else they lose…..
Anika and shivaay were trying to find an idea for doing business smart way….the time was lapsing fast and the evening was nearing….when they both got an idea and hified each other…discussed what needs to be said when and how they have to convince….
Anika and Shivaay went and a special guest along with Judges were invited…Shivika were given new costumes along with other team contestants…Anika appeared really gorgeous , once again mesmerizing Shivaay….
Shivaay TAM ”she is so beautiful… inner and outer too…i am unable to take off my eyes of her and unable to stop thinking about her…she is filled in my mind…this feeling is something i have been feeling more from past two days…before this also i felt something like this, but i brushed off my thoughts…but this time these thoughts are overpowering me…what can it be…whatever it is i will find out, what it is and if i get to know what it is ….i will say all these to her too..before we go back to Mumbai”
Anika came and waved her hands before his eyes….Shivaay came out of his (her) thoughts and moved to the dias and they took their stand….
The final round started and the other team presented their idea…it was turn of Shivaay and Anika..naah Mr.Ricthie Rich and Ms.Surpanaka….they put their idea also innovatively ….the judges were discussing and assessing who the winner should be….finally the result was passed on to the host….the host welcomed the special guest and handed him over the result…
Shivaay and Anika were declared as Runners up while the other team were champions….though they were disappointed for not winning but they were happy that they could surpass 7 teams behind to become runners up…..both consoled each other and took their runners up trophy and cash award along with gift hampers….
After return they went to the rooms and decided to go out for dinner……..as decided they left for dinner and while returning Anika felt sad ……..shivaay looked at her……
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka …it’s okay i know we couldn’t win…but we still were better than many…”
Anika ”do you think i am sad for being the runner up….Mr.Ricthie Rich…i lost many times in my life and know how to take defeat with grace..so i am not sad because of that”
Shivaay ”then why?”
Anika ”nothing”
Shivaay ”don’t you think you must share it with me…after all i am your …”
Anika ”are we really best friends or ” she didn’t speak anything further
Shivaay ”or?”
Anika ”nothing…just forget it…tomorrow night is our bus….and our friends have asked for some gifts from here…shall we go for shopping tomorrow?”
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka why didn’t you complete it”
Anika ”Mr.Ricthie Rich forget it na…i just blabbered something…but tomorrow shopping pakka na?”
Shivaay ”hmm…sure”
Shivaay TAM ”i will get the words that you stopped from saying out of your mouth…do you feel the same what i am feeling… i need to know…and tomorrow before we return i will get the answer for this from you”
They both reached the hotel and the reception lady called Shivaay saying he has a call …
Shivaay – Anika walked towards the reception and Shivaay picked the phone
Shivaay ”Ji Bade papa….”
Shivaay ”but”
Shivaay ”okay Bade papa…as you say…but what about Ms.Surpanaka, i mean she will be alone here”
Shivaay ”okay”
Shivaay turned towards Anika and called her asking to speak to Tej
Anika ”Hello Uncle”
Anika ”uncle but”
Anika ”yes uncle”
Anika ”yes uncle”
Anika ”as you say uncle”
Anika ”thank you uncle”
she disconnected the call and looked at Shivaay
Shivaay ”i swear i had no idea about this”
Anika ”i know that..but now we both agreed to Tej uncle …so i think we should”
Shivaay ”yeah”
