FINDING SOULMATE IN BFF’S MARRIAGE by Kanfi Chp-12

By the time they’ve reached beach,,it
was evening,,,,the sunset time…..Cool breezes were blowing,,,,,The clouds were like great wings of gold and yellow and rose-colour,……
The whole atmosphere was romantic……

Om and Gauri were walking on the sand holding each other’s hand,,,gauri resting her head on Om’s shoulder…….

ShivIka decided to give them some privacy and they sat at a place and having some genuine talk….!!

Shiv–So finally we are like talking properly….

Anni–Hmm finally…..otherwise whatever you’ve done with me n…..I swear I would have never talked to you ..??

Shiv–Yaar annika aise karogi……??(You’ll behave like this?)……you havent forgiven me yet???

Anni–Arre baba…..I’ve forgiven you kbka…?But yeah dont you dare to talk to me like that neither when you are gussa nor when you are not?

Shiv–Okk madam…..jaisa ap kahe……..(as you say)…

Anni–Good balak……??

Shiv–So tell me something about you??

Anni–About me????.Hmmmm ok……So as you know I am Gauri’s bestest friend…..We have beeen together since childhood……Actually we were neighbours and our families were also very close…….But after death of my parents….(she took a pause while Shivaay held his hand to console her)……hmmm after death of my parents,,,Gauri’s parents adopted me…..Since then I am with her,,,same school,,same college,,,same job,,,even  same crushes???….(she laughed remembering old days in turn Shivaay also smiled)……..

Shiv–Same crushes???Then how do you both use to manage the situation????

Anni–Actually you know what…..There is a different story behind it…..Yaa there were some good boys in college,,,,crush n all used to happen,,,then we both used to discuss that due to a guy we had to divide our time….So no boyfriens policy was there??…So same crush ok,,,as we know there wasnt any future????

Shiv–Gajab.?? …(amazing)

Ani–Then Gauri met with Om on a tour…..She really liked him….She shared everything with me…..I also like Om….He is so sweet….So when Om proposed Gauri,,,,I allowed her to have a bf bt on one condition that I’ll always be her first priority???I’d talked to Om few times on call and on that day was going to meet him for the first time…..(first episode)…..and whom I found there…..One n only Mr.bhagad billa…….(said rolling her eyes)

Shivaay chuckled on her antics…..

Shiv–After Gauri’s wedding,,you’ll get alone…..

Anni–No not at all…..Gauri has promised me n that I’ll always be her first priority….So she’ll be just a call away from me…..!!…..(took a pause)…….Hmmmm bt yeah…Its the beginning of new phase of her life…I know she’ll be always there but now Om is also a part of her life…I’ll miss her….(a layer of tear formed in her eyes)

Shiv–Hey dont cry please……We are thinking too much……So lets just go with flow and enjoy this one week to its fullest…..We’ll make lots if memories……..

Anni–Yeah…..no rona dhona??So now you tell me about yourself. ..
Shiv–Come on Annika…..You know everything about me I guess…..Except my personal life I mean love life…..??

Anni–(raising eyebrows) love life…..hmmm good….(sounding a bit upset,,,,she turned her face towards sea)

Shiv–(Is she getting jealous.. !!!!*blushing*).….or ni to kya ……So do you want to know……??

Shiv–Okk…??…..I’ve a gf….I love her a lot……But due to Om’s wedding I am not able to give her much time…….(after listening all this,,Annika’s expressions were changing and Shivaay ws chuckling)…..,So she is a bit angry….But soon I’ll make up to her…..I really love her a lot……

Shiv–Are you forgot we were gf/bf……(and he started laughing hysterically)??????

Annika again acted as if she is hitting him but stopped in the midway…..

This ques made Annika numb…..There was a compete silence…..After few minutes Shivaay broke the silence asking the same ques……

Shiv–Annika……Were you jealous????

Anni–Wo actually…….I dont like sharing my friends…..So thats why……(she admitted the truth like a kid)

Shiv–Ohh…..(then he realised)….FRIEND?????Mtlb are we friends????are you serious????I thought its not going to happen……I am your friend right……??…..(he said all this in one go amidst excitement)

Anni–Control Shivaay???…..Of course we are friend…..And I hope you’ll do justice with this friendship…….

In excitement,,Shivaay pulled her in a tight hug…..at first Annika was shocked but soon she also reciprocated……..

Shiv–Yeah……Of course I’ll……So before we give a fresh start to our frienship……I want to apologise for all my past deeds??

Anni–I’ve already forgiven you…..

Shiv–Not just forgiving… You’ve to forget everything too…Got it???

Anni–Ok….done……

Shiv–2 min I am coming …..

Shivaay came back with a sweet corn (bhutta)…..

Anni–Shivaay……Of course you can……

They share their numbers……Soon Om n Gauri joined them….They had a little chit chat and they went to a restaurant,,had their dinner and back to hotel…….

Everyone parted to their respective room…..(One for ShivOm and one for AniRi)
