Yuv POV:
As soon as I open my eyes, I realise something is missing… Rather someone is… The door opens and there she is, Suhani she looks soo beautiful, her natural beauty and her in her lengha, a baby blue one and a bit transparent so I can see her little six pack… She notices me staring and her cheeks instantly become a bright pink…
Me: Suhani…. Where did you go?
Suh: I just had to get your medicines after this I have to go home and get ready for the mehndi for tomorrow…
Me: Suhani… Don’t leave me here…
Suh: I need to go, remember what dadi said… I will have to go before she ends up scolding me… And My papa called me today… They found me an Alliance… He lives in Europe… They said I might have to go if we get married as he has his own buisnes there and I might be able to become a success down in Europe… I couldn’t say anything… They don’t understand that I don’t want to get married…
She forces out a chuckle that is engulfed by croaks of tears that she is trying to swallow…
I was shocked, utterly shocked… I feel my jaw mustve dropped
Me: Suhani… You.. You.. got an alliance?
She just nodded her head in agreement, my world just shattered, why didn’t I just die! If I can’t get suhani, then who can I get! EXACTLY THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING WITH SAFIYA,the only difference is that Suhani and me are not together, but it seems like we have been for ages…
She shakes me out of my thoughts and asks if I am ok I force a smile and nod… She feeds me the medicines… and slowly gets up to leave…
I was lonely in that room for an hour or so until my family came barging in… Dadi was obviously the first one to sit by my side…
Dadi: Beta… I am afraid you won’t be able to attend the Mehndi…
me: NO. I NEED TO!
Sharad: But Guru you condition-
I cut off his words everything is turning around! From one incident everything is going wrong!
Me: NO I SAID NO! I AM ATTENDING IT! I NEED TO!
Dadi: I thought you hate Mehndi beta… Its a good thing you stay here and get better for the wedding…
me: I hated music… But now its the only thing that calms me down! Things change Dadi! THINGS DO CHANGE! THOUGHTS CHANGE, PEOPLE CHANGE! LEAVE!! I NEED TO THINK! PLEASE! DADI YOU ARE ONLY TRYING TO MAKE ME MORE UPSET! YOU TOLD MY BEST FRIEND SUHANI TO LEAVE ME ALONE! NOW SHE IS GETTIGN DISTANCED FROM ME!
Dadi: But… She is only rui-
Me: go. (I turn my face the other way avoiding eye contact with everyone who must be staring at me… Why did I shout at my own Dadi… Do I love Suhani that much… I her murmuring behind me and people get up and walk to the door, when I hear the door shut I turn around so see Sharadd and Bhavna glaring down at me…)
Me: What language do you want me to speak… I. WANT. TO. BE. ALONE!
Sharad: Yuv… Tell us the real reason why u r angry…
Bhav: Is it because of the alliance…
I start to tear up… and Bhavna realises this and wipes my tears away…
Bhav: SO you love her… The tigers were right… Thank god we have such amazing friends!
Sharad: Guru… Don’t you worry, we will get you to that mehndi and we will make sure that you and Suhani will get together… However I am not sure about her feelings towards you…
Me: EXACTLY! SHE DOESN’T LOVE ME! THERE IS NO POINT! I AM UNLOVABLE!
I feel helpless I don’t know what to do, I realise my breathing suddenly changes, my blood pressure must’ve dropped…
Bhav: SHARAD DO SOMETHING! CALL THE DOCTOR!
Thats all I can here, until I feel a hand on my face as someone puts an oxygen mask on me , I open my eyes to see my angel leaning over me, she starts singing, my breathing starts to regulate back to normal and she pecks my forehead…
Suh: Dont you dare think of leaving me again…
I move my hand to stroke her face, but the image fades away… I was dreaming… She saved me even through a hallucination, She is my oxygen, me is the completion to my soul… And she will be moving to Europe, with another man… I can’t handle this information… My thoughts are interrupted by Sharad talking to dadi about the mehndi event… She nods and sits next to me again… I want to ignore her but she grasps my hand and pleads to me…
Dadi: Yuvraaj beta… You can come to the mendhi Ceremony… but you have to not stress yourself out now… I will make sure you get discharged before tonight lve you beta…
I beam a huge smile to her as I whisper past my mask “I love you too”
The doctor comes in the room and says “I think Mr. Birla needs some rest now, I think you all must leave” Dadi and CO. Nod in agreement and leave… Here I am alone again.. ME and my thoughts… I just can’t get her out of my mind…
