Star Plus’ Meri Durga brings a lovely relationship of a father and daughter. The father, who happens to be from a poor background aims to educate his daughter and fulfill his dreams to see his daughter’s great success. He dreams that his daughter will make his name shine some day and bring pride in their stride. Star Plus is launching the new show on 26 January 2017.
The story will be inspiring to see. The father would want his daughter to become successful, while the girl wants to enjoy her childhood and be free spirited. Nevertheless, the daughter will value her father’s dreams and realize his struggles in pushing her forward for her education. The promos have already received much appreciation. This show will be bringing the child artist in lead, like the earlier show Naamkaran airing on the channel. Ananya Agarwal will play the girl, while Vicky Ahuja will play her father’s character. Sanjay Kaushik will play Rishi, a guy who will be an important part in Durga’s life. He will be paired opposite Durga’s elder sister. Rishi will be a grey character and pose problems for Durga. Promo jitna interesting hota hai kuch tym baad show uttana hi flop ho jaata hai iske do bade bade examples hai – Waaris and Naamkaran…
Acche khasse dono shows bekar ho gye or ab yeh show bhi aa raha kuch din interesting lagega ya interesting banayennge but baad me show ko spoil kr denge..
But lets wait and watch ki aage kya lrenge

New concept…..but soon it will be changed….and same daily drama..
show will soon become crap.. shows will start as women empowerment and will completely deviate from story line.. afsar bitiya, Veera and every serial are examples.
If some good shows pop up like dehleez and manmarziyan channel will crop it..

Again a golden opportunity for writers to destroy an amazing story line or if they fail to do so then…. Nothing to worry jus shut down the show…
Afterall most writers have taken the oath to never present something sober and good to audience….

Awesome concept and the promos r just fab but as said by u all they r gonna convert it into saas-bahu drama soon . Lets hope then don’t spoil this show with lot of dramas . Eagerly waiting for it
