I was standing in front of the door…of twinkle’s room waiting for it to open..my heart was throbbing like anything…. Tears forming in my eyes..just then I felt a light yet comfortable touch on my shoulder. I quickly turned around “uv” I whispered before engulfing him into a tigggghhhtttttt hug…a hug which was needed…. Much needed to me.
We broke it aftr a sometime… I being tensed due to twinkle’s health almost forgot to meet them. “Kunj….u came…wht took u so late!” Uv said..almost crying nd punching my shoulders a bit. “I missed u yaar” he said giving me a side hug…I smiled “kunj!” I heard a motherly voice “leela maa” I whispered moving towards her…touching her feet…she hugged me nd caressing my hairs she told “kunj beta….thank god ur back…we missed u….” I broke the hug nd cupped her cheek with one hand nd just smiled… I WAS WORDLESS!
I looked at mahi…who was just smiling seeing the scenario… I too smiled at her nd thought to make the atmosphere a bit light
“Kya yaar uv…u told u missed me…jooth toh tu bol hi mat uh!” I said making him frown “no…I..I missed u…I swear” he said I chuckled in my mind seeing his boggled state.
“Oh…but I thought tht mahi must not hv let u feel my absence” I said…wait…wht! Uv is blushing.. God! Hehe “uv…don’t tell me…u blushing… Ye parivartan (transformation) kab hua?” Making every1 laugh except uv who was blushing harder…god help him!
“Hi mahi…….bhabhi” I said ….making every1 laugh more with my teasing ascent. “Saale….shadi ka invitation bhi nhi bheja tune” I said “haan tera pata malum hota Toh I would hv sent it” uv said nd then his smile again changed into sadness. I cursed myself for digging out the topic. “Kunj beta..its…its too late now” leela maa said with a tear escaping frm her eyes. “Too late….for wht?” I asked.
“Voh voh…twinkle’s dad fix…fixed her marriage with…..he..he ditched us…he…” Nd she couldn’t speak any further…her tears were not allowing her to do so. “Ma…shh…calm down” I said rubbing her both the shoulders. “Actually I know it…infact I just met Samar right now” I said making every1 go hell shocked. “Wht!” They exclaimed together. “Kunj… U..u knw Samar?” Asked mahi “ya…I mean kind of” I said. “Wait….kunj…tell us everything nd…nd where did u met twinkle… Nd tht too in this condition?” Said uv being curious. “Ya…I will tell u guys everything… Just listen it carefully…..”
It took me abt abt 10 minutes to explain my whole journey… Taking it frm NY to samar’s office. Just deleting my devil’s shade frm it… I was feeling too embarrassed to tell it.
“This is destiny I swear…I mean wht a coincident!” Mahi said covering her mouth with both her hands.
“So…tht means u attended twinkle’s concert? Then y didn’t u came to meet us there?” Leela ma asked I just smiled (remember guys…tht bodyguards wala incident) “it has its own story” I said leaving every1 again In a shock. “Anyways the question here is….wht will we do now? I mean…twinkle met me…nd she was so angry…I can’t tell…I don’t think she will be able to forgive me ever” I said being sad…”don’t worry kunj….her anger will soon calm down” mahi said
I just nodded. “Its just the she needs some time to spend with u….once she will hv a calm conversation with u..trust me…she will understand u and will forget all her queries” she added “but thts the thing na mahi…. Twinkle is not ready to listen even a single word…I don’t think she will like to even meet me” I said
“I hv a plan!” Said uv….lighting a ray In our darkness
“Jaldi bata!” We all said together bringing giggles. “If kunj will stay with us here….then we can create situations where they will be left with no option but to talk…” Uv said…yes he has got a point! “But…wht will we answer to Samar…even he is staying with us as his house is down for renovation” leela maa spoke. Wht! Tht scoundrel is staying here…tht means he will get to spend time with my twinkle! No no….I cannot let him be close to her…no ways!
“I hv a plan for tht!” I said “jaldi bata!” They said….together I simply smiled “wait and watch” I said
Just then the door opened… I quickly went to the doc. “Doctor… How is she… Wht….wht happened to her…is she…is she alright… Tell na doctor y ain’t u speaking anything… Doc…” I said but was cut by uv “bro let him speak” he said making me realise tht I was at fault. “She is fine…no need to worry…she over stressed herself nd thts the reason she fainted… It’s okay…she will be fine soon” he said patting my shoulders before finding his way out.
I just sighed a relief. We quickly went in….she was sitting on her bed…drinking water…oh…she gained consciousness! “Twinkle wht the hell are u doing…u should sleep!” I said moving towards her “don’t u dare!” She said “don’t u dare come close to me…m warning u Mr. Sarna!” She said
In her sherni avtar. Uff! She is looking drop dead cute…I swear to god I will eat her if she continues to look this cute with tht red nose…hehe….behave yrself kunj….she is angry nd ur smiling.. Damn!
“Twinkle puttar…hw r u” said leela maa walking towards her nd caressing her hairs. “Maa don’t worry I m good” she said side hugging her.
“Twinkle…. Twinkle!” I heard a voice coming frm the doorway….I turned to see who it was. Oh god! Y did he came!!!
“Sam!” Twinkle spoke he just ran towards her…Teri toh! Durr reh samjha….”bro…calm down ” I heard uv saying… Making me realise how much red I had became due to anger…I was breathing heavily.
Wait…..wht…tht Sam hugged her…did he just hugged my girl? I m gonna kill him ….haath lag tu Bas. “U okay star?” He asked nd twinkle just smiled.

“U okay star?” He asked making me smile at his concern….it’s not tht I hv fallen for him…its just tht I hv fallen for his friendship… I like the way he cares….nd moreover I wanted to make kunj realise tht wht he lost aftr leaving me. Indirectly I wanted him to feel jealous… Nd thts his punishment.
To add fuel to the fire I cupped Sam’s face “don’t worry Sam…I m fine… U r here na…how can I not be fine” I said he smiled nd kissed my forehead.

Wht the hell…he kissed her….I just wanna break his lips. I can’t tolerate it anymore. I simply ran out of the room….I was in the hall, all ready to storm out “kunj!” I heard….. I turned towards the voice …..gosh! Has he decided tht he wanna die today….I m trying hard to control my anger which has now taken a form of tears….
“Ye…yes” I asked but Samar just hugged me ……I was shocked nd somewhere I was feeling guilty…wht has he done…its not his fault….twinkle is a girl for whom any boy can fall.
I broke the hug “Samar…umm” I said but was cut by him “thank u kunj…thank u so much….if u would not have been there…then wht would Hv happened to my twinkle…. I just don’t hv words to thank u yaar” he said…babaji wht was the need to say my twinkle…. Here I m trying hard to convince myself tht he is not at fault. Nd there he goes…making my job even difficult.
“No…Sam…its…it’s fine” I said trying to plaster a smile. “Hey Sam!” Said uv coming down….thank god!
“Hi yuvraj” Sam said cheerfully. “So..so I heard tht u r staying wid us” Uv said looking at me….trying to remind me abt my untold plan…..LOVE U YAAR!! Aaj iske chakkar mei bhul hi jata. So kunj….let’s start the acting…..
I silently took out my phone nd called played a tune… To make a scene tht I m getting a call….the phone started ringing nd I stopped the tune “hello…yes Mr.mehra” I said nd paused for a while to let Mr. Mehra speak…Mr.mehra ?
“Wht!!!….no I don’t knw anything… U arrange for any other room….wht….all rooms are booked!…then…oh god…umm…okay…I will manage” I said and placed my cell in my pocket…I could see confused expressions in front of me….hehe…nice acting kunj sarna…nice acting….”wht happened kunj?” Samar asked “voh..nothing… Actually… I had told Mr. Mehra…to arrange for my rooms but he forgot to do so in advance nd now all the rooms are booked” I said trying to act tensed
“But didn’t u told tht u r here to to meet yr mom nd bebe too….nd u also told u hv a house here” sameer said….what the…… Y does he hv such a sharp memory…. I started sweating nd looked at uv for help….he must hv understood my plan….but he too was helpless….”voh …umm…actually… Haan! They both hv gone out of station to attend a meeting of a close relative nd hv taken keys with them mistakenly…. They will be here only aftr a week” I said nd I saw uv throwing a sigh of relief “oh..tht so sad…u knw even I m not staying at my house for a week as it is under construction otherwise I would hv let u stay with me” Sam said yeyeyeye…he cleared half of the path…now all is in uv’s hand….I looked at uv …he smiled “NP yaar Sam…yr guest…our guest…kunj u can stay with us…leela maa too will get happy aftrall u saved your…I mean our twinkle right!” He said…. “But…voh..umm…OK” I said dancing in my heart.
