Falling in love again : Sai Joshi!! Part 20

First of all ,really very sorry for the technical glitches that have occurred in the previous part so this is the continuation of the court scene drama where DIG sir will start explaining how Sai came or his office and told the entire truth. Really very sorry for the inconvenience caused once again. And thank you all for reading my fanfiction!

DIG started, speaking, He said that the day Virat was marrying Sai,Vitthal Mane had reached the temple where he tried to badmouth Sai but Virat gave him a tight slap and he was mocked by the villagers so to take revenge against Virat ,Vitthal went to the Police Headquarters where he filed a complaint against Virat for forcefully marrying a girl in his village, he wanted to destroy Virat’s career and he used Virat and Sai’s marriage as a bait to fulfill his dream but as they say, that even if a person tells 100 lies eventually truth prevails…..something similar happened in this case also. 2 days later when Virat was asked to report to the DIG ,he was handed over his suspension letter as an enquiry had been set up based on Vitthal’s  complaint. Virat did tell that he had married a girl to fulfill the promise given to his mentor Late Kamal Joshi but DIG was helpless and gave him 24 hours to prove his innocence. The very next day a girl walked into his cabin stating she wanted to meet the DIG, surprised as no one usually walks in to meet the police and here a girl hardly in her early 20’s walked in to meet the DIG himself. He let his subordinates let her in and was surprises to see that a girl who must hardly be the same age as that of his daughter wearing a nuptial chain and having the Sindoor in her head.He asked her if she was the same girl who had topped in the entire Maharashtra the previous year in her 12th board and had topped the state in Medical Entrance exam too.She nodded her head positively. She then told that she was Sai Joshi and was the daughter of Late Inspector Kamal Joshi to which DIG  sir was shocked . She then told him the truth about how Jagtap Mane used to eve tease girls in the village and how he stalked her like a possessive lover and tried to marry her forcefully but Virat saved her. She even told how in an encounter Jagtap aimed to shoot Virat but her father intervened and took the bullet on his chest and lost his life. She then told that how because of those blo*dy rascals her entire world turned upside down and how she had tried to commit suicide but was saved by Virat.  Hearing her statements DIG was shocked and he immediately called the members of the enquiry committee to his cabin , hearing the entire story the committee felt that Virat was wrongly accused and revoked his suspension…..he was infact called to rejoin his duties. The DIG was pleased with the way Sai spoke the truth without being scared about anything.

Saying so he sat down, hearing about Sai’s honesty and truthfulness everyone around felt good except for a few …who were good only at making faces.Usha who was sitting their realized that now it was payback time for the Chavan Nivasis who had caused a lot of emotional damage to her flower like daughter she decided instead of staying mum  she would reveal Chavan’s dark secrets so that they were punished for their crimes. She quickly stood up and requested the Judge to hear her out. The judge nodded, seeing Usha ,Bhavani feared …She was scared to death and felt that all her dirty deeds would be out and sooner she would be doomed she tried to instigate Usha by telling the Judge that Usha was just a servant and what does a servant know to which Usha replied savagely and said that servants have the right to decide what type of masters they work under.Usha then continued, she told that the day Sai and Virat had arrived to Nagpur ,how all the Chavan Nivas Parivaar were against Sai and very few accepted Sai wholeheartedly. They told how they asked Sai to leave that too in the evening when it was dark and the poor girl who was still mourning her father’s sudden demise was all of a sudden burdened with the responsibility of marriage and was asked to leave though Sai stayed in Nagpur for a year she never knew all the places in Nagpur as she only stayed at the hostel and for getting her daily needs there was a small shop near the college. She told how they cursed her daughter by calling her Junglee Mulgi. She then narrated that the next day of marriage when Sai bent to seek their blessings they walked away without even blessing her and how they mocked that she was just an inspector’s daughter and belonged from a small village and they were from a middle class family. Hearing so the Chavan Nivasis recollects how they behaved with her and felt bad as today she was a very rich person and had more jewellery and money than them.
