Actor-photographer Faisal Raza Khan and wife Gazala Shaikh, recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with friends including Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla. The gang also includes Keerti and Sharad Kelkar, Surveen Chawla, and Tina and Hussain Kuwajerwala.
In an interview with BT Faisal shared, “I hadn’t met my friends in a long time owing to the pandemic and also because I was travelling after the lockdown was lifted. Besides, Sharad was busy with his film projects, and Rubina and Abhinav were in Bigg Boss 14. It was amazing to meet them after almost a year. Keeping in mind the COVID scare, Gazala and I decided to celebrate our anniversary in an open-air club. Everyone was a little apprehensive because of the situation and we wanted to celebrate our special day in a safe environment with a close circle of friends.”
Talking about his relation with Rubina, Faisal said, Faisal shares, “Rubina is my rakhi sister. We share a strong bond. Kirti celebrated her win on Bigg Boss after she came out of the house. However, I couldn’t join the celebrations since I was travelling. So, Gazala and I thought what better occasion to invite all our friends than our wedding anniversary. Rubina was there, too. I was meeting her after almost a year and gave her a big hug. She looked very beautiful and has changed for the better. She has the smile of a winner on her face and deserves all the love that she is receiving from people. I am so happy for her. She has made me proud.”
Well, the party will continue in Maldives as the couple will be going to Maldives along with their gang. Faisal adds, “Gazala wanted to go to the Maldives. So, I am taking her there on March 15 with all our friends. No celebration is complete without our buddies. We have been together for nine years and have become family now.”
