Episode- 34

The next day arrived to enlighten the life of three brothers… three pillars of the Oberoi Family.

Omkara got up and saw Gauri sleeping resting her head on his chest “I love you Gauri… and I know you love me too” he said hugging her and closed his eyes resting his head over her head. “Oh shit… today is her marriage” Omkara suddenly came out from his trance and realized the bitter truth. “I have to do something to stop all this and for now… I have to postpone this marriage anyway” he got up and because of the jerk she got up. “Omkara ji” she called softly and tears went down her eyes. He sat back half hugging her “relax Gauri… I am here and I promise no one can take my love away from me” he said. She looked at his eyes which was reflecting love, care and concern for her. “Gauri….” soon a tough manly voice came from outside. She looked at Om horrified. “Stay calm… go and open the door and do not tell anyone I am inside and if anybody asks tell them you don’t know” Om said and hid inside the cupboard.

“Anika… Anika get up we have to board flight in some hour… please no more time left we have to leave for airport soon… hey get up” Shivay said jerking her. “Hmm…” she just replied and turned around. He tried for two more time but she did not get up. He took out his phone and dialled a number. “Hello… Prinku… Anika is still sleeping and not getting up… what to do” he sounded helpless over phone. “All the best bhaiyaa… she is a lady kumbhkaran, do one thing….” she narrated him a way. He smiled listening to it but was not sure of doing it or not. He again called her but no response other than humming.

‘Lag jaa gale… ki phir ye… haseen raat ho na ho… shayad phir is janam me mulakaat ho na ho…’ came the sound from Soumya’s room. A smile adorned on Daadi’s lips listening to her melodious voice. ‘Humko mili hai aaj ye… ghadiyaan naseeb se… jee bhar ke dekh le jiye… humko… kareeb se… phir aapke naseeb me… ye baat ho na ho…. shayad phir is janam me… mulakaat ho na ho…’ the rest of the song continued. Everyone present at the house heard it and smiled and blessed Soumya to rise up in her life through her singing talent within themselves. Daadi went to her room and noticed her practicing before going to the competition.

Soumya stopped her riyaaz looking Daadi standing at the door step. “Why did you stop puttar… sing na… this house is feeling like it has got its Saraswati Devi. Soumya blushed listening to it. Daadi went close to her. Soumya touched her feet and Daadi hugged her. “Jeetey raho puttar” she blessed and kissed on Soumya’s forehead. Soumya again started her riyaaz when Daadi sat beside her listening to it.

“SPLASSSHHH!!!” “What the hell” Anika shouted aloud. She opened her eyes and saw Shivay having hard time controlling his laughter. “What is this Shivay?” she asked looking at him. “Hey relax… actually I was unaware that you are lady kumbhkaran… so.
.so” he burst into fits of laughter. “So?” She asked angrily. “So… I did as Prinku instructed me” he said controlling his laughter. “Ohhh that means…this stupid idea was of Prinku?” She asked twisting the bedsheet. “No… I mean yes… I mean…” Shivay stammered looking here and there. “What I mean… I mean… you know what I would take the revenge soon” she said and went to get freshened up. “She looks cute when she is angry” she muttered to himself.

Gauri went out somewhere with some women. Om noticed through the hole from the cupboard. “I have to do something” he murmured and slowly came out from Gauri’s room and went to his room. After sometime he went to Kaali’s room and noticed him doing arrangements for marriage. “Kaali… I want to say something” Om said getting in. “Ohhh Mr. Oberoi… come in” Kaali whole heartedly welcomed Om inside. Om went in.

“Let’s go Soumya” Rudra said. “Where are you going?” Soumya asked looking him taking out his bike from garage. “What do you mean, where am I going… I am going with my best friend to be with her and see her taking the first step in fulfilling her dreams.” He said. She smiled “from when did you learn to talk so mature?” Soumya asked getting on his bike. “Actually… Shivay bhaiyaa has said me this that I should be there with you… that was his dialogue… I just copied” Rudra said and cut his tongue. “So you consider me as your best friend?” Soumya asked and Rudra started the bike. “Yes… you are my best bester and bestest friend” Rudra answered smiling cheekily. They soon reached the competition venue. Soumya got down from the bike. He looked at her and wished “all the best my buddy” “thank you” she replied softly and went in. After parking the bike he too went in. The competition started.

“I have to make an announcement” Kaali said. “The marriage is postponed for now… I will declare another date for the marriage and yeah please do take care of the guests.” He announced and looked at Omkara smilingly, Om too reciprocated his smile. Gauri looked at Om as tears got filled up in her eyes. Om nodded a no and she wiped the tears. The crowd dispersed to their rooms. “Gauri… be happy Om has saved your would be husband from dying again. So just wait for the right time of our marriage and yeah do not try to do any kind of blunder that might cause your mother’s life” Kaali threatened her and went to his room. After everyone went away Gauri went to Omkara. “Thank you so much Omkara ji… but how did you do this?” She asked. “Will tell you everything at right time and right place… not now and not here” Om said and went to his room smiling and passing her a flying kiss. “I love you” his lips moved. She blushed and looked down.

The flight landed at the right time. Anika was still angry with him and he was still trying to pacify her but after morning’s prank she is not even paying attention to his talks. “Hey Shivay… why is Anika behaving like tadka?” Daksh chuckled. “Maybe because yesterday night by mistake the spirit of tadka got into her.” He too chuckled back. Anika glared at them. They put the fingers on their lips but soon they burst laughing.
