EPISODE- 33
“Omkara ji… please go out… if anyone sees then they won’t leave you alive please go” Gauri pleaded folding hands. “Please go…” she again repeated. “Why are you doing this to me Gauri? You know that I…” he stopped to read the reaction on Gauri’s face. “You…what Omkara ji?” Gauri asked. “I… love… you… I love you Gauri” Om send going close to her. “Please don’t say these words again… please” she requested and fell down with a thud as Om wrapped her in a tight hug.
“Anika… this is for you” Shivay said extending tea cup to her. “Shivay… this?? You know how to prepare tea also?” She raised her eyebrows. “I don’t think making tea is tough like singing lullaby” Shivay answered thinking something. “Ohhh yeah… of course why singing lullaby… singing a song also is difficult for some people.” She smiled pressing her lips. “Hmmm… yeah” he replied with an embarrassed face and went back to his desk. Anika got lost in her past.
FLASHBACK
A girl of class nine and a boy of class eleven are shown sitting inside a room preparing something. “Anika… just tell me something why only we two… I mean there are many students who took part in the competition but we two got selected… I am not feeling good for the rest of the people” the boy said. “Shivay bhaiyaa…” she just started to speak but got cut in the middle “hey… only Shivay… why are you calling me bhaiyaa… just Shivay please” he corrected her soon. “Ohh yeah I remember… only Shivay… okay whatever… Shivay I think we are eligible… the competition was conducted between intra class nine and intra class eleven since tenth and twelfth are busy due to their boards I think… so we two” she explained. “Yeah maybe… you are smart” Shivay complemented. “Yeah I know” Anika upped her collar. “Today after school we will go at the auditorium to practice… only two days are left for inter school competition. I don’t know what will we do… I am so tensed” Shivay said reading the lines. “Hey do you know how to sing lullaby… I mean… believe me during tension if you listen to lullaby it reduces tension” Anika explained. “Me.. no..why why me… you sing na…” Shivay stammered remembering his not so bad singing voice. “Shivay… for me please please” Anika held his hand and requested pressing eyes. Shivay was in awe state when he decided to sing for his Anika to impress her.
Shivay started to sing “Chandaniyaa…aaaa…aa… chup janaaa… re… pal bhar ko….. luk jaannaaaaaaa re…nindi aankho me aaye… biti…yaa… meri so jaaye…” Shivay was singing when Anika shouted “stop it… stop it…” Shivay immediately stopped and opened his eyes to look Anika’s not so happy face with her ears closed by her fingers. “An…nik..kkaa”he called slowly. “Haan I am fine…” Anika replied hardly smiling. “Was it bad?” Shivay asked looking at her eyes. “No… no Shivay… sorry but yeah very bad” she said as his face dropped. “Okay okay… I mean it was okay… not that bad” she mended her words. “I know it was bad… leave it na… focus on what we were doing” Shivay said and cracked up remembering his very very bad lullaby for her. She too cracked up looking him.
FLASHBACK ENDS
Anika went to Shivay’s desk. She noticed him sleeping peacefully resting his head over his hands. “You were always cute bagad billa… even now” she smiled and went more close.
“Omkara ji please go…” Gauri tried to free herself from Om’s hold. “Gauri… just tell me you don’t love me… just tell me I will go away the same moment” he said. Gauri now reciprocated the hug and broke down in his embrace. “We cannot be together ever Omkara ji… you please go or else these people will kill you… I am getting married the moment evening will arrive tomorrow. Please Omkara ji do not risk your life because of me and moreover if you get to know my past you itself will go away from me… so please go” Gauri said looking down. “What do you think? I will leave my love alone to fight with these people… and tell me one thing when you are not happy with this marriage then why are you doing this? You simply go and deny” Om said holding her face high and making her look into his eyes. “I am not allowed to do this… or else… or else they will kill my mother…” she again broke down. “Why are they doing this? There must be some reason right? And… and they will kill your mother means? Please Gauri… tell me… you cannot hide things more from me… tell me” he consoled her ruffling her hairs. “I am a widow Omkara ji… I am a widow” she stopped while Om’s eyes shot open and his hands stopped. She gradually came out of the hug and looked at him. “I told you Omkara ji… if you listen to my truth you will get broken more… please go away from here. Please” she cried folding her hands. “What do you think Gauri… I will leave you just by listening you are widow… no… no Gauri…tell me everything… why are you saying like this? Please Gauri… you cannot hide more.” He said hugging her back.
“Anika go inside… there is a resting room… you go and take rest there… I know the presentation is complete” Shivay said staying in same position. Anika looked amusingly at him and asked stammering “you… you are not…not sleeping?” “Yeah… I was but your presence woke me up” Shivay looked at her smilingly while she looked down blushing. “Someone is blushing” Shivay said and stood up. Anika looked here and there. “Why are you blushing Ms. Anika?” Shivay asked walking close to her while she took steps back. “I… I wasn’t… I” she stammered and her back touched the wall behind. He smiled looking this “take your time Ms. Cause you have to answer soon” Shivay said teasing her. He walked away. “You will get your answer soon Mr.” Anika replied smilingly and blushing. “I will wait” Shivay replied in his extra husky voice.
