Rohan Mehra will be joining the cast of Sasural Simar Ka, which has been running successfully on Colors channel since six years. The show is a good comeback for the young actor. His role is quite different from the one in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where he played Naksh, son of Naitik and Akshara. Rohan has been a contestant in Bigg Boss Season 10. Rohan has also featured in reality shows like Gumrah: End of Innocence, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Webbed 2.
He is now all set to play the new male lead in Sasural Simar Ka. The track was focussed on Anjali-Vikram and Roshni-Piyush till now. The show will now go ahead with Simar’s daughter Sanjana’s love story with her best friend Sameer. Sanjana and Sameer know each other very well. Sameer arrives from London to meet Sanjana. The family finds them a good match and proposes Sanjana’s alliance to Sameer. Anjali’s marriage with Vikram recently broke off. Anjali has an aching heart and does not wish good for Sanjana. Anjali will be competing with Sanjana to win Sameer.
Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar replaced Dipika Kakar as Simar in the show. Vaishali Thakkar who plays Anjali was seen along Rohan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naksh’s best friend Sanju. The actors may have a pairing in Sasural Simar Ka. Sameer’s entry will be forming a love triangle between him, Anjali and Sanjana.
