Ikyawann is the new show coming up on Star Plus. It will be replacing Chandra Nandini at the 8.30 pm slot from 13 November 2017. Namish Taneja and Prachi Tehlan play the lead roles. The show is set in Ahmedabad. The story revolves around a girl, named Susheel, who is the 51st child of the Parekh family. Susheel is not so feminine. She is tall, bold and rough. She behaves like a guy. She doesn’t know cooking or adornment. She has no personality depicting a delicate girl. She is very much different. She is raised with much love. She feels lucky to have four fathers. She is considered very lucky by her family.
On the other hand, the male lead Satya belongs to an affluent family. He wants to avoid the family business. He fails in the college exams, just to stay away from joining the boring business. Satya and Susheel meet in college. She rescues him when he gets bullied. The two fall in love and try to overcome their personal problems. Namish rose to fame as Lakshya in Colors’ Swaragini. I feel like the past few shows Star Plus has been coming out with like “Rishton Ka Chakravyuh” and “Dil Sambhal Ja Zara” is making it a somewhat respectable channel to me once again. The last thing they had that was critically good was “Mahabharat”. These shows actually show familial context and are more about the characters and not some saas-bahu bullshit.
I am very much interested mostly for Nami.apart from that the promo was very emotional obviously as daughter father share the most amusing and amazing bond. I am waiting for it.Even the story line is different.
