Actor Karan Suchak will be playing the grown-up Bajirao in Sony’s Peshwa Bajirao. He will take over from Rudra Soni to play Bajirao post the time leap of nine years. Karan was earlier seen Pavitra Rishta, Mahabharat, Singhasan Battisi and Siya Ke Ram. He has become popular in mythological and fantasy genres by his role of Laxman in Siya Ke Ram. The actor gained much fan following by his superb portrayal.
Peshwa Bajirao is based on the life of first Peshwa of Chhatrapati Shahu, who was the courageous son of Radhabai and Balaji Vishwanath. Child actor Rudra Soni has been essaying the role of Bajirao superbly till now. Peshwa Bajirao was known for his intelligence and and motivating oration to guide his army. Post leap, the story will take a new turn and will focus on Bajirao as a warrior. Ishita Ganguly, who was last seen in Colors’ Shastri sisters, will be playing Kashibai. Manish Wadhwa, who plays Bajirao’s father Balaji Vishwanath Bhat will exit the show after few episodes. Sahu Ji Maharaj will be seen running the Maratha kingdom.
