Colors is coming with a new love story Tu Aashiqui, which will mark the comeback of actress Gauri Pradhan. Gauri is playing the role of Jannat’s mother. She will have a glamorous look. The show has fresh faces as leads. Jannat Zubair Rahmani will be playing the lead actress in this show. Jannat is best known for the role of child Phulwa in the Colors show. Jannat did shows like Maharana Pratap, Mahakumbh, Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi and Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai.
Jannat plays a middle-class girl called Pankti Sharma. The male Ritik plays a musician Ahaan Dhanrajgir. His character is inspired from Aditya Roy Kapur’s in Aashiqui 2. Pankti is caged up at home by her mother, who just treats her like as asset which could be invested in right thing some day. Her family bounds her by many limitations and expectations. Pankti meets Ahaan and finds him very much caring. They fall in love. Pankti gets the freedom by her love, Ahaan. Pankti’s marriage gets fixed with a rich guy. Ahaan opposes her marriage. The couple’s relationship goes through many ups and downs. Pankti and Ahaan’s love story begins to face troubles.
