Shark Tank India is all set to make a grand comeback on the small screen with Season 2. This time Ashneer Grover will not be a part of the show. Instead, entrepreneur Amit Jain has been roped in to replace him.
For the unversed, Amit Jain who studied at IIT Delhi hails from Jaipur. Before his startup, he worked in Austin, Texas with a company. He is the founder of Car Dekho and started the company with his brother in 2007.
The latest promo of the show revealed Amit’s face wherein he can be seen sitting beside the other popular sharks including Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal.
Ashneer Grover, who became a household name wasn’t seen in the promo. The fans are missing Ashneer and his one-liners. Ashneer recently made headlines by losing 10 kilos. Ashneer has been quite active on social media where he keeps his fans and followers updated by posting photos with celebrities and sharing some from his travels around the world.
Talking about the show, Shark Tank India witnessed a successful first season thanks to the sharks and their one-liners which were turned into memes by netizens. The show gave a platform to several budding entrepreneurs to make it big with their start-up ideas.
