Episode 6
Soon the meeting started, and Mr. Govind Kanojiya, director informed everyone that Maheshwari Industries have taken over SWASTIK FINANCES and now it’s a part of conglomerate of Maheshwari Industries. Moreover as Maheshwari Industries will work from their office till their new office is completely set up at new place, and informed that that audit wing of SWASTIK FINANCES will now look over the entire financial matters of Maheshwari Industries.
Swara was just shocked beyond words. She knew somewhere deep inside that it was a personal decision of Lucky, no Mr. Maheshwari .
Ragini was giving her sympatatic looks, but her colleges obvious to it were overexcited, Rahul her college was so excited that he nearly pulled her in side hug and whispered that now even our salary will increase, but unfortunately it was the exact movement Lakesh turned towards them, he was beyond angry. How can someone touch Swara like this, she is his only his to punish or to love.
But as soon as this thought crossed his mind he gave himself a mental slap. How can he feel like that for the cruel gold digger, he was here for only his revenge. But his thoughts were when he suddenly heard his name being called, but in his anger he had also forgotten his speech, so he just greeted them and left.
But Swara who saw him playing with his thumb knew that he was very angry but failed to register it was due Rahul’s actions. After the event all the managers and sub managers were called for a private meeting with Lakesh, all went but Swara was really nervous for she could feel that it was some new trick by Lakesh he had that wicked smile when he was up to no good.
FLASHBACK…..
Swara remembered what a big prankster Lucky was, he would never leave an occasion to pull her leg or play a prank on her. It was Adresh bhai’s favorite pass time to just mark the points that who among her and Lucky was winning he loved to give live commentary which was equally enjoyed by their elders. While Lucky used to tease her about her short hairs calling her all kind of wired boy names she used to tease him for his endless list of girlfriends who never seems to get enough of him.
Tired by Lucky’s teasing she had started to grow her hairs long, to the satisfaction of her mother. He always asked her to be more like Ragini which irked her to no end; she always used to think why could he not be more like his brother who was so sweet.
Like this few months passed and now the pranks of Lucky was growing more and more bolder, it seemed that he was losing the fear of his parents and it seems that he never thinks anything else than teasing her.
During this time her distant cousin Parineeta came to live with them for completing a course. She was a very shy person. One day when Lucky’s prank went horribly wrong and instead of Swara, Parineeta and Adresh became its victims. The bucket of water which Lucky had kept for Swara was poured over Parineeta and Adresh making them wet and fall completely awkward position, though both of them were scolded harshly for this, but out of all this mess a good thing came up that is both Parineeta and Adresh felt in love with each other and Swara and Lucky unknowingly became their messengers. Even in this morden times Parineeta and Adresh unfortunately still preferred and loved the age old way letter writing instead of watsup and personal meeting instead of video call. And most of times their partner in crime were Lucky and Swara. In all this meetings and transfer unknowingly both Lucky and Swara were falling for each other but their huge egos were not allowing them to accept it or even analise it. Ragini who was silent observer of all this decided to remain silent as she knew that if she even made a mention of any of this her friend will be very upset with her and she also wanted Swara to herself recognize her feeling.
As the days passed by the Shramas and the Maheshwaris came to know about Parineeta and Adresh’s relationship and they were more than happy for the alliance. But since Parineeta was still studying they decided to go for the engagement first and marriage after a year. And soon the preparations for the engagement started, off course Lucky and Swara were the main organizers as they were the reason this marriage was fixed or rather it was their pranks.
One day since everybody were busy in engagement preparations only Lucky and Swara went to pick up the dresses from the designer a Lucky had some work he left Swara at the designer and went for his work.
But when Swara returned from Designers place Lucky still had not returned and she was alone in the lonely road and shop was closed. That time she saw some men eve teasing one girl, she without thinking just went and shouted at them. To this they got angry and started following Swara leaving that girl that shocked Swara and she started running and finally collided with a hard chest to her relief it was none other than Lakesh. When the men saw her with him and his angry looks they decided it’s better to leave than fight with him.
Swara was literally shaking like a dry leaf in hailstorm. Lucky just hugged her made her calm, they were like that for a long time, and when Swara’s shivering stopped Lucky slowly took her to the car and gave her water to calm her down. He knew she was really sacred so after a bit drive he stopped his got her out tried to make the mood light as he knew he cannot take her home in this condition. After some times when nothing seems to work he just gave bottle which she again drank absentmindedly but as soon as drank it she just shouted.
S: what the hell is it????
L: In your case it can be called a shock treatment.
S: Jokes apart what the hell is it, it just burned my throat.
L: Well this is a great drink that solves many problems.
S: Shut up Lucky and tell me what poison you gave me.
L: Well you are the first one to call whiskey as poison Swara the great.
S: WHAT!!!!!!! You gave me alcohol you moron!!!
L: Calm down my Jhasi Ki Rani I did to just bring you out of shock, nothing seems to be working on you and I could not take you home in this condition. I was terrified and nothing came to my mind. Sorry if you feel offended. (He said in one go)
After hearing his Swara seemed to calm down and get back to her senses
S: But still it’s wrong.
L: I know. I said sorry OK.
After this they went back to car and after a few minutes of silence
S: Sorry I should not have shouted on you
Lucky was just looking at her in shock.
S: What????
L: the great Swara Sharma is saying sorry that must be recorded for future reference.
S: Now shut up Lucky I said sorry don’t tease me now. And you won’t breath a word of it at home… understood.
L: Then you have to make it up to me dear Swappy….
