Episode 18

FLASHBACK… CONTINUED…..

Laksh asked Ragini to get Swara to farmhouse alone, it was the toughest task till date but when he told her the real reason she was more than ready. He went to farmhouse  early in the morning on pretext of visiting a friend. Although he was careful but it was hard to fool his mother. He was so dam tensed that he was nearly having a breakdown, but Sujata too decided to play along her son this time.

It was nearly six in the evening when Ragini finally got Swara to farmhouse, it was a hericulan task since Laksh warned Ragini to not a speak a word about it to Swara too.

As soon as Swara got down at farmhouse she was surprised to nearly empty farmhouse, but soon Ragini assured her and ran upstairs asking her to reach the pool area. Though a bit uncertain Swara decided to reach the pool area.

As soon as she reached the back door she found a decorated with ribbons on the door which just stated “ REMOVE YOUR SHOES BEFOR STEPPING INTO HEAVEN”. She thought it weired but still decided to go with it. She removed her sandal and stepped into a path filled with roses and jasmines. As she walked the path lightened with beautiful purple twinkling lights like stars were lighting her path. Moving ahead she found the water of the pool was moving like a sea and at the end of the path was her Lucky dressed as a pirate waiting for her with arms open and wiskey in his hand, in front of an old boat like background.

She could not believe her eyes her most wildest dream was coming true. The once she thought she had never shared even with Ragini. For first time life Swara was speechless, she could never believe that someone can go to this extend just for her. Seeing her stuck at a place and crying Laksh just go near her and ask

Laksh: What happened? Why are you crying?

Swara: Its just…. Its just….

Laksh: Well you made me forget my line with all your tears….

Swara: Well sorry..

Laksh: Just shut up and listen….

Swara: Ok captain….

Laksh: Hmmmm…. Miss Swara Shrama I Love you from the bottom of my heart will you be my lover for a life time. Remember marriage is included in this pack…

Swara: Laksh I know you are the most annoying guy, but someone told me away from you I become a zombie (they heard a laughter from above) so for sake of humanity…. I accept you proposal… and sitting on a knee without ring you look funny

Laksh: After going through all this trouble all I get a a yes for humanity sake and a compliment as funny… its not fair. And if I had ring would you have worn it ( showing fake anger)

Swara: Sorry baba…. I love you handsome till kal, parsoo and hamesha. Now fine..

Saying this they hugged each other tightly, and as they kissed they jumped apart hearing a very familiar cough. All this time they were unaware of a extra pair of eyes looking at them shocked and just blinking uncontrollable. Sujata just could not wrap her mind around the fact that the girl Laksh loved was actually her Swara, this love birds were right in front of her eyes and she did not had a pinch of doubt. How could this be possible? They fought all the time. But when they kissed each other she was brought back to present. She could not believe in her wildest dreams that she was actually going to get Swara as her Daughter in law. She thought if she asked god for something else too that day she would have got it.

Laksh: Mom you are here…

Sujata: Last time I checked it was my farmhouse yours father’s gift to me on our last anniversary

Laksh and Swara were really out of answers or rather say questions. Swara felt has if it would be better if earth open up and sallow her, she did not strength to look at Sujata’s face or even speak. She had never thought she would be so happy at a movement and so embarrassed at the very next. both Laksh and Swara were looking at the ground when they heard Sujata say

Sujata: What are you both searching for on the ground?

Laksh: Well….

Sujata: If its for the ring then I have one.

Laksh & Swara: (shocked) What?????

Sujata: The R.I.N.G….. You were searching for one….

Laksh & Swara: No its just…

Sujata: Its ok kids I am done with the drama…… ( controlling her laughter)  Come here and take my blessings…. I am the happiest soul on the earth today and Swara I will give you my Khandhani ring once I get home….. God I feel like shouting…

Laksh: Control mom…. Its just that

Sujata: What control…. And I just now saw how you guys control…

Swara: Wo mom it was just….( blushing beet red)

Laksh: Mom you have to concentrate on bhai’s wedding now, and I have carrier and Swara has her studies to complete…… Please mom do keep quit about it….

Swara: Please badi maa

Sujata: Ok I will do it for now. But please do promise me you will not do anything that I will regret my decision and Swara from today I have official right on you, more than your mother done……

Swara: Ok badi maa…

Sujata: By the way Lucky what about this Pirate set up…..

Laksh: wo…. Swara loves sea and pirates and I just wanted to create an atmosphere where she will be happiest.

Sujata: I never knew my Casanova son had this romantic side to himself. Well you surpassed your dad today…. ( wiping her tears)

Laksh: what did dad do for you?

Sujata: That’s a story for another day today is your day. And do bring her home back early I can cover only for Swara not you post woman Ragini….

Well saying this Sujata left and Ragini came running from her hidden place and told them to be quick. They gave her a deadly glare and

Swara: Why you could not tell badi maa was here?

Ragini: She came out of nowhere. How could I know she was following us? You both should thank me rather than scolding….. Forget about me arranging your next meeting…. And Swara I think your mom must also know about it since his mom  knows……

Swara: Fine Ragu I am sorry I got carried away. Really sorry….

They chatted for some time and left
