“Who is he?…”
Author’s POV:-
Riddhima looked at Vansh who was sitting in the hall working on the laptop, poor he can’t even go to his own room nor of Riddhima’s what if Sejal saw him there? Vansh feeling her gaze him looked up at her face, raising his eyebrows he gave her a questioning look.
Ishani: Bhabhi, lunch.
Ishani called her to the dining table. Seeing her lost in her own thoughts. As soon as everyone settled themselves on their chairs. Riddhima looked at the stairs waiting for Sejal to come.
Riddhima: Arjun, you know where is Sejal?
Riddhima asked Arjun who was happily talking to Aryan. All look around to see Sejal was nowhere to be seen.
Arjun: No Mumma, I was with Aryan Chachu.
He said and looked at Aryan.
Riddhima: Kabir, you know?
She looked as he pointed at the door. They looked to see Sejal entering from the main door.
Angre: Why she is looking scared?
Angre asked as he noticed her rubbing her palms together while she was sweating badly. She was just looking straight as if being in some deep thoughts. Riddhima signed Siya to ask about her.
Siya: Sejal…
Even upon calling her she didn’t responded to them and was just walking as if being possessed.
Aryan: I guess she is lost in her thoughts.
He asked and Riddhima getting up went to her. She came and stood in front of her making her come out of her reverie of thoughts. Sejal looked around not able to look at her.
Sejal: Riddhima, move aside.
She said and was about to go from another side when Riddhima came in front of her.
Riddhima: Where are you coming from?
She asked and looked at Sejal face, no expression as if she was being accused of a murder.
Sejal: Why should I tell you?
Riddhima looked as she crossed her arms across her chest finally gaining some strength.
Riddhima: I’m the owner of this mansion. So I should be aware who is coming and who is going. Right?
Forcing a smile she looked at Sejal who just rolled her eyes at her.
Sejal: I’m not answerable to you.
Sejal said and moving from another side left from there. Riddhima looked at her retreating figure. Moving back to the table, she looked at their gazes on her.
Riddhima: What?
Aryan looked back at Arjun who was busy eating unaware about everything happening around him.
Kabir: Where was she for so long?
He asked to himself only but it was audible to everyone. He looked up to see them looking at him.
Kabir: What? I just asked like that only, maybe she is planning something big.
All nodded at him understanding his point of view.
Vansh: We’ll have to keep an eye on her. Siya and Ishani will keep in morning. Kabir and Aryan will search about that number.
He said and looked at them.
Riddhima: Why morning? Which number?
She asked and he explained them carefully about that unknown number.
Arjun: And me?
Arjun asked as he was listening to them and wasn’t allotted with any work.
Riddhima: You will go to school.
She said giving him a big smile making him look down at his plate.

At 11 pm, Riddhima peeped inside the room Sejal was staying. Looking around the room, her eyes become wet reminiscing the time she had spent in their room. A broken smile came on her lips. She looks at Sejal who was sitting on the floor with her head on the edge of the bed and was looking out. She frowns on her condition. She was looking weak as if she hadn’t eaten anything for a long time.
Feeling a pat, she looks behind to see Vansh who removed his headphones and came closer to her.
Vansh: Why are you crying?
He asked and wiped her tears droplet from her cheeks. She turns back and looks at Sejal.
Riddhima: Vansh, I’m not able to believe Sejal did all this.
She said in a low voice and he kept his chin on her shoulder.
Vansh: But she did, Riddhima. We just need to know what she will get by doing all this.
He mumbled in her ears. Riddhima looked at him and passing a smile to her he left from there to let her keep an eye on Sejal.
Riddhima peeped inside and felt her heart breaking into thousand pieces as she her looking out of the window gazing at the moon without blinking. She was willing to go and have a heart-to-heart conversation with her but right now the condition was that she needs a reason to talk to her.
She left from there. Coming to the kitchen, she prepared a plate with many dishes.
Riddhima: Now I have reason to talk to her.
She said and coming back to her room saw Sejal still in the same condition. She got in without knocking and sat down in front of her. Sejal was shocked to see her suddenly in front of her.
Riddhima: Your dinner.
She said and forwarded the full plate to her. Sejal looked at the plate and sat back straight composing herself.
Sejal: I don’t need. Take it and leave from here right now.
She said glaring at her.
Sejal: No need to show your fake concern to me.
She said and turn around looking at the door.
Riddhima: I thought that you haven’t eaten anything since morning what if you lose your consciousness while walking or anything can happen.
Riddhima said and again forwarded the plate which was again pushed away by Sejal.
Riddhima: See being the owner of this mansion. I think I should at least show this much concern to everyone. So come, have it.
She said with a big smile lingering on her lips. Sejal looked at her throwing angry glares. She was about to speak something just when Riddhima stuffed the spoon full of morsel in her mouth.
Sejal was shocked and looking at Riddhima’s smiling face took it.
Sejal: What the hell? Listen leave silently from here. Before I say something worst to you. Move out.
Riddhima heard her and looked at her face, shocked by her audacity.
Riddhima: Listen Sejal, first of all whatever you did 5 years back was worst and still I’m behaving good with you.
Riddhima said in an anger filled voice. Sejal looked away and took a deep breath.
Sejal: I don’t need your this good behavior. So better move out from here.
She yelled and Riddhima looking at her wanted to say something but left from there. Sejal looked at her leaving and then at the plate.

Entering in the room, Riddhima found Vansh sitting on the couch typing something on his phone. Vansh didn’t noticed her, she angrily came and stood in front of him. He looked up to see her standing crossing her arms.
Vansh: What are you doing here?
She heard his question and sat down on the bed with an angry look covered on her face. He looked at her and kneeling down sat in front of her.
Vansh: What happened?
He asked and held her hand in his, which she jerked and looked away. Cupping her face he made her look at him.
Riddhima: Why is she behaving like that with me? Am I not her friend?
She shouted looking at him making him shocked by her behavior.
Riddhima: First of all she is staying in my room and she asked me only to move out. Even on top of that she is staying there with the identity of your wife. I swear if she wasn’t my friend I would have killed her then and there only.
She yelled at him. Vansh heard her and knew she was jealous.
Vansh: You went to her.
She nodded looking at him with numb eyes.
Vansh: Why?
He asked and removed his hands from her cheeks and looked at her.
Riddhima: I thought she was sad and she even hadn’t taken her dinner so I just went to give it to her. But she, she asked me to leave from there. Seriously.
Riddhima said and he looked at her angrily.
Vansh: Why did you went to her? She is already behaving odd since few days and you went to talk to her. You are mad not she.
He said and Riddhima looked at him shocked.
Riddhima: You mean to say that now I shouldn’t even talk to my friend?
Vansh looked at her as even all this had happened and she still she is taking her side. He got up and moved aside.
Vansh: After all this had happened in our relation still you consider her as your friend. We were away from each other for whole 5 years just because of her and still. I can’t believe it.
She heard and getting up stood in front of him.
Riddhima: I know she did wrong but even I know that there is some other reason why she did all that? I just when to have a heart-to-heart conversation with her. What’s wrong in that?
She asked and he looked at her.
Vansh: You know what, stay here and keep trusting her while she will keep betraying you.
He said and left the room banging the door with a huge force. Riddhima sat on the bed angrily.
Riddhima: What does he mean by that? I should stop talking to her. By talking to her only we can get to know why she did all this and he, he want to extract all this information by keeping an eye on her.
She said and laid down on the bed while her legs were swaying in air on floor. She took the pillow and hugged it tightly.
Riddhima: Just like that he left me alone over here. Idiot. I won’t talk to him.
Riddhima said and getting up left the room. Coming out she looked around to search for Vansh. Moving through the corridor she looked in each and every room but didn’t found him.
Descending down the stairs she rolled her eyes around the hall but except disappointment she got nothing at all.
Riddhima: Vansh, I’m sorry but please come out now.
She mumbled to herself and came in the hall, moving to the back gate. She looked around while rubbing her palms together.
Riddhima: I haven’t come here since 5 years and this side looks to scary. I swear I will kill him if I didn’t found him here.
She said and opening the door of the back gate stepped out. Just when she heard someone’s footsteps turning around she didn’t found anyone.
Turning on the flashlight of her phone, she looked around and heard the footsteps coming closer to her. Carefully picking up the flower vase kept on the side table she looked around to see who is coming.
Biting her lower lips, she started sweating badly when she felt that the sound in not coming. Just when she felt a pat on her shoulder. Tightening her grip on the flower vase, she turned around and threw the vase in air as the person wasn’t visible to her due to darkness.
She felt someone’s hand on her waist and inhaled his scent. A smile crept on her lips when she felt him but realizing he had scared her to hell she moved away from him.
She was about to shout when Vansh closed her mouth by keeping his fingers on her, pinning her to the wall. She was shocked by him but as he didn’t do anything further she moved back.
Vansh: Shh…Sejal is here.
He mumbled in a low voice. Riddhima felt him holding her waist and pulling her to him, he brought her somewhere.
As soon as moonlight hits on her eyes she looks around to see everyone hiding on their places safely.
Riddhima: Where is Sejal?
She asked from Vansh and saw pointing at the window which was just outside Vansh’s room.
Riddhima: How we came on this floor? We were downstairs right?
She asked confused and looked at him.
Vansh: This is my mansion, I’m aware about every corner and where does it leads us to. Okay? Now focus on your friend.
He said sarcastically and she looked as his face was telling he was angry. She places a kiss on his cheeks.
Riddhima: I’m sorry but just for my behavior my point of view was right.
She said and before he could say anything she turned to look at Sejal.
Looking at her, they found her talking to someone and was clearly audible to them as she was near to the window.
Sejal: I’m not going to do anything now. Better you shut up.
She said and was about to disconnect the call when the other person might have said something and she started looking around.
Sejal: Are you mad no one is here.
She yelled looking back at the door while everyone was hiding in front of the window.
Just then Vansh got up from the place and moving to the door threw the vase breaking it in front of her door. Hearing the sound, Sejal looked behind.
Sejal: I think you are right. Someone is here, let me check.
She said and keeping the phone on the side table moved to check. Ishani got up and picking up the phone saw it on hold. Disconnecting the hold mode, she connected it and inhaling a deep breath brought the phone close to her ears.
Her breath hitched listening to the voice and she kept back the phone without again putting it on hold and checking its position. Instead of moving to them, she moved to Riddhima’s room making them confused.

As soon as everyone entered in the room, they saw her pacing around the room thinking something.
Riddhima: Why you came like that only?
She asked and Ishani looked at her and sat on the bed.
Ishani: I heard him, he was saying “Better you keep an eye on them, or I’ll kill him.”
She said confusing them as well as shocking them.
Vansh: Who was he? You know him? Anything about his voice?
He asked her looking at her condition. She looked up at them.
Ishani: I had heard the voice somewhere but didn’t remember where.
