Chapter-52

At Lifeline Hospital:-

At 6:10 am:-

Veer entered their room with the baby boy in his arms who was sleeping cutely and he forwarded it to Riddhima

Riddhima was in awe after seeing the baby she said

Riddhima (shouts in excitement) – Hawwwww Bhai

Vansh and Veer were shocked by her sudden reaction

Vansh- What happened now?

Veer- Why you shouted like that?

Riddhima- Bhai How cute he is!!! Give me

Vansh- No way you are weak

Riddhima- Who said?

Vansh- I?

Riddhima- Then I don’t want to listen…. Bhai give me na…

Veer gave her the baby and she was staring him with a small smile

Suddenly a ward boy entered and

Ward Boy- Veer sir Samiara ma’am is calling you

Veer- Ok… (to Vansh) I’m coming

Veer left those three in the room

Riddhima- Vanshh…. See his cute eyes, small nose and his pink lips

Vansh (murmuring) – Am I not enough for her?

Riddhima- You said something

Vansh- No

Riddhima- Vansh let’s wake him up

Vansh- Are you mad? I don’t know how to handle kids

Riddhima- Even I don’t know…. Let’s wake him up na I want to see him smiling, crying …Please na

Vansh- Riddhima he is a baby and that to pre born…. Let him take rest

Veer- Could you guys stop fighting?

They turned to see Veer

Riddhima- Bhai wake him up na

Vansh- Shut up… Veer what did doctor said?

Veer- Surgery is about to start…. Riddhima give the baby to me

He leaves.

After 20 minutes:-

Nurses took Riddhima to the OT while Vansh and all boys were was in his wardroom, Veer was outside the OT and Sooraj and Sandhya all were sitting on the benches.

Veer was pacing here and there and suddenly a pat came on his shoulder, he turned to see Vansh there he passed a smile to him and asked him to sit

After 2 hours:-

Now it was the turn of Vansh to pacing back and forth in front of the OT while Sooraj and Sandhya was with Ruchi as Veer asked them to leave

Veer saw Sooraj coming and turned to Vansh

Veer- Vansh dad is coming at that time you were saved not now leave or hide

Vansh- Its better I should hide

Vansh moves to the opposite direction and entered into a room and slightly opening the door he saw Sooraj coming there and

Sooraj- What did doctor said?

Veer- None came outside yet

Just then a nurse came out and they moved to her

Sooraj- How is the patient?

Nurse- We can’t say anything now surgery is going on after half an hour it will get over but patient is in critical condition

This was it all were in shock and sat on the places tensed

While Vansh was in the room and after listening to Nurse even he was shocked and tensed

He sat on the floor with a thud and hugging his knees started reminiscing his moments with Riddhima her smile, her hugs, her eyes when form a wink, her smirking look each and every look of her was enough to bring a smile at his face but now he was scared for her

After half an hour:-

The red of the OT closed signing the end of the operation and soon Samaira came out from the OT and looked at them with grief.

Vansh hearing a slight rush outside got up and opened the door and saw Samaira standing there

Veer- How was the surgery Dr.?

Samaira- I’m sorry we couldn’t save her actually after taking out the bullet the blood loss happened in her brain an… and she is no more I’m sorry

Sooraj and Sandhya sat on the floor while Veer was standing unrecovered from the shock, Samaira held his hand so that he couldn’t fell she made him sit on the bench and then only his phone rang and he saw Sejal’s call

Samaira saw the caller ID and took the phone from him and moved to the corner after making them settle and sit on the bench

Samaira (on call) – Hello

Sejal (on call) – Hel….. Who?

Samaira (on call) – I’m Samaira?

Sejal (on call) – Oh Dr. Samaira… Finally surgery got completed that means btw how is Riddhima she is fine na… we were impatient to know

Samaira (on call) – Actually Sejal…. Woah

Sejal (on call) (panicking) – What happened Dr. Samaira?

Samaira (on call) – Actually We couldn’t save her

Many gasps were heard declaring that the phone was on speaker

Samaira (on call) – Sejal calm down you need to handle Veer, Uncle and aunty and specially Va… Vansh

Siya (on call) (crying) – but Dr. we aren’t able to handle ourselves how will we all handle them

Samaira (on call) – Just come here

She hanged up the call and moved to Veer

Samaira– Veer, Riddhima’s body will come out after few seconds you guys can take it

Saying so she leaves them as hearing the news the seeing the patient’s family condition was common for her

After a while Sejal, Siya and Ishani came to them and just then the body came out all stood up and saw Riddhima’s face which was covered by a bandage on her head they started crying

Meanwhile Vansh condition was worst after hearing the news he moved to his ward-room washroom and shuts the door from inside and stands beneath the shower and letting the grief wash down from his and mixing his tears with the water. He sat on the floor his back touching with the shower wall while he hugged his knees close to him and started weeping and then a hand came on his shoulder

It presence was enough for him to know who he was he without seeing the person hugged him

Vansh- Riddhima I love you… I love you the most… Please don’t leave me…. Please don’t …. I love you please Riddhima….. After a long time we were together please Riddhu…. Please

Riddhima- Vansh

A voice was enough for him to calm down he broke the hug and saw her face and kissed her forehead while tears were forming in his eyes

Riddhima- Vansh I’m always with you in your heart

Vansh (shouting in anger) – No I need you in front of me…. Every time, every second, every minute, at my every breath I need you…. In front of me

Riddhima- I’m there now close your eyes

Vansh- No you will leave me

Riddhima- Who said? Never

Vansh- Those freaking doctors….

Riddhima- Never… Please

Vansh pulled her and closed his eyes and said

Vansh- Riddhima tell me why you made me close my eyes?

No reply

Vansh- Riddhima stop playing tell me na………

No reply

Vansh was now getting impatient and he opened his eyes to see him all alone, he turned here and there and found none

Vansh- Riddhima I know you are here please come out (breaking) please I can’t handle it…. Please

He again fell on the floor and started crying but this time a knock on the door broke his thoughts and thinking it to be Riddhima he went to open it

Vansh- Riddh…….

But he was disappointed to see Kabir and everyone tears were filled in their eyes

Kabir- Vansh actually Riddhima’s body

A slap was laid on his face

Vansh (anger) – Kabir mind your language she is Riddhima

Angre- Vansh she is in the mortuary and all are about to take her to RV Mansion

That was it Vansh rushed to the room and was about to but then he saw a ward boy

Ward- Boy- Sir whose body you want to see?

Vansh (anger) – Dare you to see her as a body I split you into two pieces… Riddhima

He lead him in the room the smell formed in the atmosphere doesn’t matter to him he moved to Riddhima and removed the sheet and saw her eyes closed he shook her to wake her up

Vansh- Riddhima I know you are acting get up now….

No reply came from her

Vansh- Ok….You won’t get up so easily na… Fine….Its Vansh Raisinghania’s order just get up Riddhima

He broke down beside her and said

Vansh- Please Riddhima I’ll die every second without you bit by bit slow by slow…. Please get up…. Please

He held her hand and

Vansh- So what happened you left me I will not leave you ever I’ll die with you

Vansh held her hand and kissed it and taking the knife from the dish he slit his wrist and fell on the floor unconscious.

After 10 minutes:-

Ward boy came to see him and was shocked to see Vansh’s unconscious there while blood was oozing out from his wrist

He rushed to him and took him out to his ward room and called the doctor

Everyone was informed of his condition and they broke down after hearing the news

Doctor came out and

Doctor- Mr. Kabir he is fine just need extra care I’ll get the discharge paper ready you can take him

Kabir nodded while All Mathur’s took Riddhima’s body to RV Mansion

While they left for VR Mansion with Vansh who was still unconscious

After 2 hours:-

Vansh opened his eyes saw himself in his room still alive he cursed his fate and fell back on the bed hugging the pillow while tears where flowing from his eyes

He suddenly got up and moved to his wardrobe and opened it and removed all the clothes and as he did so he saw a locker and writing the password as Riddhima he opened it

As the password unlocked it got opened with a click sound and he took out an anklet from it and took it with him on his bed he remembered it when he bought it

Flashback starts:-

It was three days for their wedding and tomorrow is their engagement and they came to Jeweler’s shop to buy the rings

Riddhima- Vansh see na how is it?

Vansh- Nice Riddhima

Riddhima- And this ring?

Vansh- Good one Riddhima

Riddhima looked at him and he was busy with his phone

Riddhima didn’t said anything for few time and he was busy all this while with his phone which was making her irritated she shook him and

Vansh- Nice Riddhima

Riddhima- Vansh

Vansh- Good choice Riddhima

Riddhima- Vansh just look here

Vansh looked at her and saw she was holding an anklet in her hand he bit his tongue she got up and left the shop at once while he bought the rings and rushed out to look for her while she was sitting in the car

He took a sign of relief that she didn’t left he sat on the driver’s seat and didn’t dare to say a word seeing her angry but cute face he reached to RV Mansion which was looking attracting just like a new bride

He was about to say something to her and turned to her side and saw none there he looked at front and saw her entering the mansion

Vansh- Chal beta Vansh you need to do some stunts

He smiling moved back to his room

At Night:-

In Riddhima’s room:-

Riddhima was roaming around the room in full anger mood

Riddhima- What does he think of himself? If he won’t come for the engagement I won’t engaged… Yeah I won’t but that’s ok… but how is that ok I love him…. This idiot always confuses me …..

Her talk to herself was broken by a knock at the window pane, she moved there and opened it to see Vansh, she kept looking at him and

Vansh- Mana tadna free of cost hai but at least bande ki jaan to dekho, jaan (I accept staring is free of cost but at least look the life of the person, Jaan)

Her stare was broken by his voice and she said

Riddhima- What are you doing her at this time?

Vansh- Let me come up or with whom you want to marry

She immediately took him up and said

Riddhima- Now tell what are you doing here?

Vansh- First of all I performed such a stunt and you on praising me giving me hug asking me why I came here ok fine I came to meet my fiancée

Saying so he laid on her bed

Riddhima- I have door

Vansh- I thought window was craving for my touch

Riddhima- Just leave Vansh

Vansh- I won’t

Riddhima- Let me see how you won’t

She moved to him and held his hand and was about to pull him but before that he pulled her too him and she fell on him

Vansh- Offo, If you want to hug me this much then tell me I will give you

Riddhima- Shut up and leave me

Vansh interlocked his finger on her waist and pulled her more closer to him

Riddhima- I said leave me not to come close to me

Vansh (huskily) – But In my dictionary for you leaving me is to come close to me

Riddhima blushed and before he could notice she started to trace his face with her fingers which made his grip on her to lose and taking the opportunity she came out of his hold and got up

Vansh was shocked by her move and got up

Vansh- You cheater, cheater, cheater…..

Riddhima- Keep saying like a kid and Good Night

She ignored him and moved to her bed and closed her lights

Vansh- You are getting impatient

Riddhima immediately opened the light

She closed her eyes and for few moments thought he left, and a lone tear fell from her eyes

She felt a lips on her cheeks and she opened her eyes and saw Vansh beside her

Vansh- Sorry

Riddhima passed him a smile

Riddhima- It’s ok

Vansh- See I bought those rings

He said while he forwarded it to her and she opened it and took out the rings

Riddhima- Vansh they are so beautiful

Vansh- After all whose choice it is

Riddhima- My

Vansh frowned

Vansh- I bought this how it will be your choice

Riddhima- You are also my choice

Vansh planted a kiss on her cheeks and

Riddhima- Vansh what were you doing at then on phone?

Vansh- Cheating on you

Riddhima- Ok then I’ll kill you

Vansh- Ok fine I was booking tickets to Maldives

Riddhima (with tears) – You are leaving me

Vansh- For our honeymoon, Sweetheart

Riddhima hits her head with his hand

Riddhima- We aren’t married it so will you go alone

Vansh- What will I do there alone without you?

Riddhima- Shut up

Her eyes fell on his shirt’s pocket

Riddhima- What’s there?

Vansh- Your gift

Riddhima- Really? Then give me

Vansh- Come closer

She moved close to him

Vansh- More

She did

Vansh- More

She did and before she could react he pulled her and turning her aback back hugged her and made her sleep on his lap

Vansh then took out the anklet from his pocket

Riddhima- It was the one

Vansh- Which I said is good

Vansh made her wear them

Riddhima- But why you bought this?

Vansh- Because the thing which Vansh Raisinghania likes at once his only his

Riddhima smiled at him and then took out one of the anklet and gave it to him

Riddhima- Give it to me on our wedding night

Vansh- but why one

Riddhima- One will be with me the night we unite these will also unite

Vansh kissed at her crown and moved out from the window

Flashback ends-:

Until now Vansh was completely broken down and once again his thoughts were broken by hand which was caressing his face

He know the owner but this time he didn’t saw her as he was afraid that he will lose her again and

Riddhima- Vansh

Vansh looked at her very well aware that she is his hallucination she held his hand and he followed her with tears in his eyes while his other hand was having the anklet

She took him to bed and both laid down covered with the duvet

Riddhima- Close your eyes and sleep

He closed his eyes and slept

While moon and nature was sad at his face that he had to face all this
