Eternal Love
“Avni! Wait for me to come”,Neil yelled from behind her.
Avni immediately stopped. She turned back and smiled.
“Come”,Niel said and Avni followed him holding his hands.
They entered the park and Avni noticed many girls staring Neil. She held his hands more tightly in a protective manner.
“What are you doing Avni? My hands … Aahh!!”,Neil said.
“Shut Up! Those girls… They are staring you”,Avni said pointing to the girls.
“Yes!! They are!! That girl in blue.. She is so hot”,Neil said smiling.
“Shut up Neil. You are so disgusting. I hate you”,Avni said walking ahead.
Neil walked a little faster to match her pace.
“But I Love You”,Neil said interwining their hands.
Mohabbat, ibadat, shikayat

“I love you too”,Avni said while kissing their interlocked hands.
They were lying on the slightly prickly grass of the park. The gentle sunlight was streaming through the clouds on their bright faces.
“You look so beautiful”,Neil said.
Avni glowed with happiness. Her Neil had said what she wanted to hear. She found it difficult to continue looking into his eyes. She knew it was a different moment, different from the times they had met before. Avni knew that Neil was looking at her in a way he had never done. Secretly, she wanted him to notice more of her.
Chehra tera maange aakhein meri o jaana
Teri justju mein kat’ta har din mera

Avni takes his hands and keeps it on her waist. She rests her head in his chest.
“This is the most safe place”,Avni said hugging him.
“Aren’t you afraid that someone might see us?” Neil asked.
“No”,she shook her head.
“Are you?” She added.
Neil said nothing, he just kissed her forehead.
“Neil.. Soap bubbles”,Avni said in a childish manner pointing towards the vendor.
Neil knew how much she loves soap bubbles. He got up and purchased it for her. As soon as he gave it to her,she started blowing bubbles on the passerby and even on Neil to trouble him. It became difficult for Neil to control her but amid this chaos he couldn’t help but laugh at her childishness.
Khayalon mein maine tujhko buna tha

Neil dragged her away before she could create a scene. She Continued blowing the bubbles sitting behind him on his bike. Neil stopped the bike at his home. As soon as they entered his room,both fell on the bed with a thud.
The room was full of Avni and Neil’s photographs. Some were of their childhood some were of school time while some were of university.
“I hate you”,Avni said.
“No what happened?” asked Neil.
Avni pointed to a picture with a cute pout.
“You remember that picture? When we were of 8 year , you had pushed me out of my bicycle. I fell and had hurted myself. When I started crying… You said me to stop crying like a girl”,Avni said.
Neil laughed and seeing him laughing Avni smiled.
Neil moved his hands over Avni’s wrist and slid it down,making space for it in her palm. The touch was sensuous. It had triggered an adrenaline rush within Avni. Yet she didn’t protest and let him do whatever he wanted. She had fully surrendered herself to him. It wasn’t just the touch of Neil whom she had known since childhood, it was also the touch of a man with whom she wanted to live the rest of her life. Her heartbeat quickened. He opened her fingers and then placed his fingers in between the gaps and held her hand tightly. It was a divine union. They were looking into each other’s eyes. Neil staring into hers and Avni staring into his. Avni’s heart sank when she could feel Neil’s breath falling on the back of her fingers. Avni rested her head on his shoulders.

“Do you remember the day when I proposed you?” Neil asked.
“You proposed?” Avni asked raising her eye brows.
“I mean you”,Neil said with a sad pout.
“How can I forget that day? It was the most funniest day of my life”,Avni said while laughing.
Flashback:
“Avni I need to tell you something”,Neil said.
“Go ahead! I am listening”,Avni said.
“Woah… I ….. Want to say…” ,Neil paused as his phone rang.
After attending the call,Neil resumed.
“Now say”,Avni said.
“I don’t know how to say but….”,Neil again paused as his friends called him from behind.
“Do you really have to say something or you are just wasting my time”,Avni said sounding a bit irritated.
But it was clearly evident in Avni’s eyes that she knew what Neil wad going to say. Being a girl,she wanted him to take the initiative.
“He is dumb! Should I give him a hint that I love him too”, she thought.
“Do you want to say something regarding your life?” Avni asked.
“Yes”,Neil nodded his head.
“Actually… I… want to become a lawyer”, Neil said the last five words without taking a break.
He opened his eyes and realized what blunder he did. Avni was giving him deadly glares.
“Avni.. You… are my best friend” ,he again failed in expressing his feelings.
“SHUT UP NIEL! You are good for nothing! Absolutely Nothing! Kya kehne aaye the aur kya keh rahe ho? Infact you don’t even have the guts to say. You are such a dumb. Can’t you just say I Love You clearly? Bewakuff! “, Avni said out of frustration.
Neil smiled in astonishment and hugged Avni. He was struggling a lot to say these words but she spoke it so confidently.
“I don’t know how to say cheesy lines. Let me be real. You are my best friend, my life,my love, my soulmate, my heart and my very reason for breathing. I love you with everything that I am”, Neil said hugging her once again.
“I love you “, she reciprocated his hug.
Flashback over
Their friendship meant so much to them that they couldn’t help but fall in love with each other.

True love exceeds the boundaries of your heart and seeps into your soul. We wait for it to happen accidentally but the wait never ends. Love isn’t always like a lightning bolt,it doesn’t happen in a spilt of second. Sometimes it takes ages. It’s just a decision, a decision to take a chance with somebody without worrying about whether they will give anything back or if they will hurt you or if they are really the one. Romance prevails only when two people manage to convey that they care for each other through small acts of love and affection. It blooms under the constant affection of the significant other, the one who goes out of their way for the shake of your comfort.

Avni saw Neil was asleep. She draped a blanket over him and smiled thinking about all the fun they had together.
Though Neil always behaved like a kid but Avni loved the kid in him. They were perfectly made for each other. Their connection was…. beyond words,beyond time and beyond distance.

Avni and Neil were watching a movie together. It was an emotional movie. Seeing that movie a tear dropped from Avni’s eyes.
Niel could see in her eyes how worried she was. With one hand on her shoulder, he placed the other one on her hands.
If you can’t feel the silence of your partner, you will never understand their words.
“Promise me you will always hold my hands forever”,Avni said as she cried.
“I promise”, Neil said as he wiped her tears.

“Niel,beta what have you thought about your future?” his mother asked rearranging his cupboard.
“Mom! I am working on a case. Don’t disturb me”,Neil said avoiding the topic.
“I know which case.. Beta. It’s been almost an year now. She won’t come back. Now she is just a case why don’t you understand” ,his mother said and cried.
“I know mom Avni is dead. But no one can take her place in my life. Her soul is always with me. I will fight till she gets justice”, Neil said as tears flowed from her eyes.
Flashback starts:
It was almost 1 year,Avni and Neil were in an relationship. Their relationship was pure and happy. They never lacked trust. They understood each other perfectly and completely. That day they both were happy infact more than happy. Their parents had given a green signal to their relationship. Their parents had agreed for their marriage! Convincing their parents was not at all a hard nut to crack. Their families had known each other for past 25 years. Infact they were neighbors. Avni and Neil knew each other since childhood. Their parents were glad they both had decided to marry each other.
It was almost 10PM when Avni was walking alone in the street. The next day was Niel’s birthday and she had planned a sweet surprise for him. She was returning home after checking all the arrangements.
“Neil I am almost near the house. Stop worrying”, Avni was talking to Neil over phone.
“It’s so laye. You know nah its not safe. Where are you? Tell me.. I will pick you”,Neil said in concern.
“Neil! I will reach in 5 minutes. You don’t worry. Now I am hanging up. Bye”, Avni said while disconnecting the call.
Avni was walking when suddenly four pairs of hand dragged her into a nearby abandonment construction site. She screamed but in reply she was slapped a thousands time till she lost her strength. They began tearing her clothes,while she screamed. But no one was there to hear even the loudest scream of hers. Turn by turn four of them brutally raped her,they squeezed her br*asts violently, digged their nails into her skin and did many vulnerable acts with her while she screamed and pleaded for mercy. After they climaxed they laughed and slapped her more. After satisfying completely, they shoved knife and rod in her so that no traces of semen is left inside her.
Later that night,police found her naked,bloodied dead body.
Flashback ends
“Mom Avni is not dead. She is alive in my memories and in my heart”,Neil said as a tear dropped from his eyes.
“Neil”,his mom said and hugged him.
“Mom you go. I have to go to the court for Avni’s case. I will surely punish all those rapists”,Neil said with determination.
True Love never dies. It is a strong feeling that prevails across the boundaries of time. Love which actually lasts FOREVER is difficult to find- almost impossible. But it does happen. True love is that which lasts after death.

“You honor,these all are the proofs that proves that all these four men brutually raped and killed Avni”,Neil said.
“How can we believe that reports are true? Not only the reports, whole case is fake. This ia just to defame my clients”,the opposition lawyer said.
“Due to lack of reports the case is shifted to next date”,the judge gave his verdict.
Everyone left the courtroom leaving Neil alone. Neil sat in the courtroom remembering all his moments with Avni.

“You will definitely win this case one day. I trust you”,Avni said wiping his tears.
Avni and Neil walked out of the courtroom hand in hand and Avni’s head in Neil’s shoulder.
Love never dies! It is immortal! It is eternal!
Soo guys how is this?? Many of you must be thinking why I didn’t write the case part fully! It’s just because India mein case jitna is not at all easy! It goes pending from one date to another. It takes years!!!
