All the hearts that were kept content were overflowing with emotions. Anika had wept previous night finding her solace in Shivaay, who cajoled her and allowed her to cry to her hearts content. Fifteen years…. Fifteen long years… This place is her home and it’s not easy to leave your home. She has been both mentally, physically and emotionally attached to this place. Her daughter’s entire childhood has been spent here. Her first step, her first word, her first school. A part of Sukanya and her had resided in these deep valleys. These hills shout out loud her life’s story. An entire lifetime has been spent. She has carved this house of her, this place. It wasn’t easy for her to leave this place. This place has given her strength, seen her downfall and rise too. This place made her Ank from Anika. Above all, Shivaay knew what it meant to leave a place which has been a part of you, so he stood as a support for his Anika. So what if he wasn’t there in her past he surely will be there in her future.
@LAST DAY AT DEHRADUN….
Anika had packed all the needed things with everyone’s help and now she was just giving a last look to her house, when Atharv comes to her and places his hand on her shoulder. She turns to him trying to feign a smile but he understood her and no word was needed to explain him. He just engulfed her in a warm hug and she just hugged him tighter as few drops of tears left her eyes.
Aditi: Ma, Sukanya di kahan hai?
(Ma, where is Sukanya di?)
Anika rubs her tears off and turns towards her being blank: She would be here only.
Aditi: No, ma. She isn’t here. I have searched her everywhere.
Atharv: Where can she be, then?
Anika: Wait, I will check.
She goes out in the lawn and doesn’t finds Suk anywhere.
Anika: Abeer, do you know where is Suk?
Shivaay: Isn’t she inside.
Anika: No.
Om: I too didn’t see her since morning.
Aditi voices her worry: I too searched her everywhere she isn’t in the house too.
Atharv speaks being totally worried: Where can she go then?
Meher comes from inside: Who is lost now?
Anika: What do you mean?
Meher: Manik… I don’t know where has he gone. I have been searching for him since an hour.
Anika being irritated: I am sure these two would have gone out together. Why can’t they inform us? What do they both get by worrying us everytime.
Amanat looking at the entrance: I don’t think so….
All turn to her and she points at the entrance from where a gloomy Manik enters with a bag in his hand.
Atharv: Manik, is Suk with you?
Manik looks up and nods in disapproval being blank.
Anika pats her head: Where has this girl gone now?
Shivaay tries calming her down: Relax, Anika. She would be here only maybe somewhere near we will go and see.
Abeer sighs: Wait guys, I will bring her.
Meher: You know where she is.
Abeer: No not actually. But I will get her back. You guys wait here only.
Shivaay: Alright, I will come along.
Abeer makes him sit back at his place and ensures: Relax, Shivaay. Trust me I will bring her. She hasn’t disappeared. So relax.
Shivaay nods worry still being on his face. Of course, he could trust this man with his daughter after all he has stood by her in all the ups and downs when he wasn’t here. Abeer, can make the sky and earth meet for Sukanya and the fact was well known to everyone.

The sun rays twinkled delicately over the river water as both danced with each other in slow motion. They enjoyed each others company. Sun always appeared to give company to the lonely water as moon disappeared.
At the side of the bank sat a girl drowned in her thoughts. Her eyes misty yet not even a drop tickled down. Her face tells about her forlorn state. She is too upset. She strikes her head up as she feels a hand on her shoulder.
Abeer: What happened Suk?
Sukanya hugs him as he sits besides her and he comforts her by creasing her back.
Suk: I don’t want to leave you.
Abeer smiles brightly and kisses her forehead: Hye, my bunny…. Look at me.
Sukanya looks up at him with her teary eyes.
Abeer cups her face and rubs her tears: Shh… Don’t cry. Remember what have I told you earlier.
Sukanya nods: The people we love always reside in our heart.
Abeer: Right. Then why are you crying, bunny.
Suk: I want you by my side. I don’t want to go from here this is my home.
Abeer: Bunny, baccha home is made with family, place doesn’t matters.
Suk: So my family is here. You would be here. My family will always be incomplete without all of you.
Abeer smiles and gets up: Come on, let’s go.
Suk being irritated by his change of topic: Buddy, don’t change the topic.
Abeer: I am not changing the topic.
Sukanya: Won’t you miss me. Would you be able to let me go.
Abeer looks down and then turns to her and with a mischievous smile nods making her more upset. She just walks away stamping her feet making Abeer chuckle at her. Although he passes a meaningful smile and follows the angry bird.
Sukanya enters the house and slams the door with such a rage that it would have actually been broken if it would haven’t been held by Abeer at time.
Anika: Where were you Suk?
Suk: Nowhere….
Meher: What happened to you?
Suk comes and stands in front of Meher and questions her: Will you forget me once I leave.
Meher looks at her taken aback by her question: Are you mad Suk. How can you even think like that?
She engulfs Suk in a hug and continues: You are my daughter, how can you even say that.
Suk tightening the hug cries a little and says in between her sobs: Your husband said that to me.
Abeer looks up at her being shocked of her accusation and every gives him murderous look.
Abeer: Ary, when did I say that?
Manik: Dad, stop it. How can you even think like this?
Abeer gives blank expressions to the accusations being hurled at him.
Abeer: But what have I even done….
Anika seeing a teary eyed Manik shouts at Abeer: Shut up, Abeer.
She hugs Manik, while he cries huggging her.
Anika: Don’t cry Mani….
Manik: Please don’t go. I can’t stay without you.
Anika kisses him and creases his hair lovingly.
Anika: Why are you crying Mani????
She says but a tug on her hand stops her as she looks up she has an eye contact with a mischievous Abeer who winks at her confusing her.
Abeer: Umm… Mani leave her it’s time for her departure.
Saying so he pulls a crying Manik away from Anika to which all the elders look on being confused.
Abeer: Manik won’t you say bye to Suk she is leaving for New York today.
Manik and Sukanya look at each other with glazed eyes and their eyes only longed for one thing and that is being stopped by the other.
A push from Abeer makes Manik move towards Sukanya and hugs her lightly wrapping his arms around her and sobbing lightly while in return she hugs him tightly.
Sukanya: Mani…
Manik pulling away plasters a smile and hands her a small box: Open it once you are reminded of me, when we are away. Bye.
He turns away rubbing his tears while Suk felt nothing but vulnerable at his behaviour.
Before she could say a word sound from the door distracts them all Anika, Sukanya, Aditi, Krish and Devika smile through their tears seeing everyone from Dehradun crowd around their house for a farewell. The ladies hug Anika and kids gently giving them their farewell gifts while kids give them souvenirs.
Manik becomes highly shocked when a melodramatic Ishaan comes and hugs him with tears.
Manik hits his back and irritated says: You fool, meri bidai nahi ho rahi hai.
Ishaan looks at him and rubs his tears: Bhai I know Dehradun chodne ka jhatka laga hai tujhe par, tun mujhe chod ke Jane ke gum me pagal ho jayega ye nahi mujhe pata tha.
Manik shoos him away as he becomes too clingy but his words make him shock.
Sukanya: What did you say?
Abeer while chuckling says: Nothing….
Nitya slaps him hard on his back making him stumble: Stop it you fool. You are making them cry so much.
Abeer chuckles seeing everyone confused.
Om: Don’t tell me he didn’t tell the kids yet.
Abeer nods in between his chuckles making the elders gap at him.
Shivaay: You fool….
Abeer: Stop it man. Chill… I mean look at these master minds they thought themselves to be so intelligent but they didn’t get one simple thing that is happening in front of them for so long.
All giggle at his explanation while kids frown.
Sukanya: What’s it?
Meher huffs looking at her husband, such a child he is: It’s just that. We are shifting to Mumbai too.
Every single child’s face lits up.
Aditi shouts out of excitement: WHEN???
Abeer: Today….
Manik still being in shock: But clothes….
Meher slaps him playfully: You idiot you didn’t check your closet even for once. The entire packing is done.
Sukanya: Since when has this been decided.
Om sheepishly looking at Abeer: Even before you guys came here. Your buddy had brought a house on your birthday directly in front of Oberoi Mansion.
All the kids gap at hearing the news and watch a still giggling Abeer.
Sukanya aims at him for having fun at her price since so long and making her cry. She beats him hard but all he does is roll on the grass with her on top of him still laughing out.
Abeer holds her hand and in a serious tone questions his little bunny: Do you seriously think I can stay away from my daughter. Hmm???
As he questions her she realises what big a fool she was to even think that he would stay away from her when she is the first person he would think about. She loved him soooooooooo much. She kissed him over his face showing her inexpressible excitement. He chuckles at her actions but his really happy to see her jump in frolic. While his poor son is still in confusion and trances, that makes everyone laugh.
It’s then when a very unexpected guest enters the house, all those who knew him their eyes shot up.
Anika: Hi, Dheeraj.
And those who didn’t, their eyes shoot up at the mention of his name.
An already confused Manik looked more confused and irritated at the man.
Manik: What the hell are you doing here man?
Dheeraj: I just came to say a final bye to you guys.
Aditi: Look man it’s really kind of you but you better leave before messing up things.
Aryan pulls her back and mumbles a quick sorry to Dheeraj while pressing Aditi shoulder indicating that he is annoyed by her behaviour.
Meher: Dheeraj it’s alright, you come in please.
While the kids flinch with anger the elders glare them for their behaviour.
Dheeraj: Thank you, aunty. It’s perfectly alright. I just came to say a bye and…
Krish out of irritation: And what???
Dheeraj narrows his eyes at Krish but then rolls them and looks up at Sukanya with a smug smile, to which she royally ignored.
Dheeraj: And have a punch from Sukanya.
All look up at him as if he has lost all his senses.
Ishaan pats his shoulder overdramatically: It seems like you too have drifted under shock like Manik, man. You really need help.
Both the boys slap him hard on his back as he is about to slip his phone out, instead he flinches overdramatically.
Sukanya finally speaks looking at him being all astound: Are you nuts Dheeraj. You want me to punch you.
Dheeraj rubbing his nape chuckles: It’s not like everyday you bang into a banded queen, who has the audacity to hit you off your wits above that I don’t know when next I will get the chance to tease you and get some hard banging in return.
Manik: I am sure this man needs to go to asylum. Till date he use to fuss so much about Suk hitting him and today he has come to invite her to hit him.
Dheeraj chuckles and brushes his hair giving his sly cheeky smile to an entirely shocked clan.
Anika: Umm…. Dheeraj, I think so you should not get into this and Suk you aren’t beating him.
Sukanya looks at Anika and then Dheeraj….. This was fun.
Dheeraj: Chill aunty. Come on Sukanya or do I need to pull the wrong cord, first.
Sukanya nods in disbelief and….
Bang…..
Dheeraj falls down on the ground with bleeding gums, he chuckles and gets up again. While Sukanya nods in disbelief.
