Elvish Yadav Summoned by Gurugram Police Following Physical Altercation with YouTuber Sagar Thakur

Elvish Yadav, winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 and a prominent social media figure, finds himself embroiled in controversy once again after a physical altercation with YouTuber Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern. The incident, which occurred recently and was captured on video, has since gone viral on social media platforms.

Following the altercation, Sagar Thakur filed a complaint against Elvish Yadav and several others at the Gurugram Police station. In response, the Gurugram Police have issued a notice to Elvish Yadav, summoning him for questioning. The notice, issued under Section 41A of the Criminal Procedure Code, mandates Elvish to appear for interrogation on Tuesday.

According to ACP Sadar Kapil Ahlawat, the case against Elvish Yadav and others is currently under investigation. The altercation between Elvish Yadav and Sagar Thakur stemmed from an ongoing online debate between the two social media personalities.

The dispute escalated on March 7 when Elvish Yadav tweeted a reminder to Sagar Thakur about his residence in Delhi. Thakur subsequently traveled to Gurgaon for a scheduled meeting with Elvish Yadav, as evidenced by their social media exchanges. However, the meeting took a violent turn, resulting in physical injuries to Sagar Thakur and legal consequences for Elvish Yadav.

A case has been registered against Elvish Yadav under sections 147, 149, 323, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code at Gurugram’s Sector-53 Police Station. In response, Elvish Yadav shared a video on social media alleging that Sagar Thakur had issued alarming threats to him and his family, leading to the altercation.

Elvish Yadav further claimed that the meeting was orchestrated by Sagar Thakur, with hidden cameras and microphones strategically placed to capture the confrontation. However, the details surrounding the incident are still under investigation, and further updates are awaited as the case progresses.
