Ekta Kapoor gives the credit for Lock Upp’s success to Karan Kundrra and Kangana Ranaut

Lock Upp has turned out to be an absolute audience’s favorite. The show has clocked more than 200 million views and is currently one of the most-watched OTT shows. Earlier, when the show reached the 100 million mark, the producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and announced the news.

She shared the poster of Lock Upp featuring Kangana with the contestants and wrote, “Lock Up crosses 100million views – only reality show to achieve this feat in record time of 19 days – Highest watched reality show on Indian OTT space Enough said JAI MATA DI.”

Ekta Kapoor was recently spotted with Karan Kundrra on the set of Lock Upp. The paparazzi asked Ekta about the show’s massive success. Ekta replied to them saying, “Jailor se pucho, isne aur Kangana ne kiya hai.”

Ekta was in a hurry when she gave the statement to the paps and hence she might have forgotten to give credit to the contestants of the show who are adding spice and drama to every episode.
