Raja explains to Rani that his family, especially his father must be worried for him. Kokilla and the guards knock at the door, they enter to look around. The guards come inside and takes Raja along with him. Rani hugs Raaj Mata praying for safety of Raja.
Kaal harasses and beats Amrita for bringing Raja as a coward, weak man. He forbids her come in front of him again. Rajeshwari comes with a drink in hand and offers it to him. She tells him nothing has ruined yet, Jeewan has already seen Raja. There is none of Kaal’s mistake, Bari Rani Maa is old and is changed now; she is tired and weak now. Bari Rani Maa hears about it. Rajeshwari says Jeewan has all the qualities of a prince, but Raja has nothing worth being prince. Kaal clutches Rajeshwari’s jaw instead and forbids her forget her worth. She is just a second woman for him, Raja is his son and only he has a right to punish him. The guard come to inform him Raja has returned. Amrita hugs Raja and shows concern for him. Kaal comes from behind and keeps a hand over his shoulder. He says today the prince of Amirkot has arrived as a beggar. He drags Raja along, Amrita runs behind but he locks her outside.
In the room, Raja was afraid and apologizes Kaal. Kaal tells Raja it takes a whole life to become a Prince from a wild animal, he did it. It takes only years to become a prince from a beggar, but he only took hours to become beggar from a prince. He takes his stick and beats Raja. Bari Rani Maa and Kokilla watch this from outside, Bari Rani Maa says that in childhood it only hurts on soul when beaten on body. The badly Kaal beats Raja today, the more hatred Raja will have for Kaal. Amrita comes to plead Bari Rani Maa who comes with her and gets the door opened. Kaal leaves at her call.
Bari Rani Maa applies ointment on Raja’s bruises. Bari Rani Maa calls Kaal a wild animal, she will make him so strong that he will be able to counter Kaal again. Raja thinks about Rani’s words, and tells Bari Rani Maa he would never go against Kaal, he is his father and would always love him. If a stone isn’t beaten with hammer, it can never turn to an idol. Bari Rani Maa asks where he has heard all this. Raja smiles, from Rani. He appreciates her family, and tells Bari Rani Maa she lives with her grandmother and father. Bari Rani Maa wonders if it’s possible, Rani is the ignited torn piece of the fire she blew long time ago.
Rani was worried about Raja and heads to go out. Raaj Mata stops her, she tells Lakhan about Rajeshwari. Lakhan asks Raaj Mata why she went to Nari Nikhetan. Raaj Mata confesses about working there.
Jeewan comes to Kaal, he was tensed. He heads to leave when Raja was coming inside. Jeewan tells Kaal its bad time, Raja comes inside and apologizes Kaal. Kaal forgives him and offers him to eat apple. Bari Rani Maa watches this curtly. Rajeshwari comes inside to find her upset. Rajeshwari was also upset, she reminds Bari Rani Maa that Kaal cannot be loyal to anyone. If she is nothing for him, even after being his child’s mother; what is Bari Rani Maa’s worth? Bari Rani Maa tells her that a worth has to be earned. Right now she has to blow out a common girl to turn a flame, Rajeshwari wonders what a common girl can do to them. Bari Rani Maa insists that years ago it was a common girl who ruined her life, she snatched her trust, position, power and her hand. Today there is a common girl again, her name is Rani.
Raja and Bari Rani Maa come to Rani’s house. Rani cheers watching Raja but was shocked to see Bari Rani Maa. Raja tells Rani she came to thanks her, she has taught him so much that Kaal forgave him today. Rani whispers into Raja’s ears not to tell her grandmother that she works in the palace. Bari Rani Maa comes to the door, peeks inside and wonders why this fragrance is a known one, as if she is going to meet an old friend. She steps inside the house, Raaj Mata, Lakhan and Rani’s photo was kept beside a wall. Bari Rani Maa asks Rani about her grandmother and Lakhan, Rani explains they have gone out. She didn’t know the names of both. She tells Bari Rani Maa her real name is Rani Gayatri.
