At night
At MM
Laksh and Ragini entered inside the house with a happy smile where Laksh has held Ragini securely inside his arm from her waist.
Raglak heard a voice at their back when they were ascending the stairs .
I am heating up the food , you go and comeback after freshen up : AP said in a motherly affectionate voice
Raglak looked at each other then Laksh turned his face towards AP and said : Mom , actually today we both have taken our meal outside . Ragini was wanting to eat her favourite foods at her favourite restaurant. So we both had taken our meal at her favourite restaurant .
AP : ( in an understanding voice) it’s ok beta. Don’t explain me anything. ( moved towards Ragini and caressed her hairs ) I have also crossed that period on my past. And you are forcible to fulfil her all demands ( in a strict tone holding Laksh’s ear ) I don’t want my grandchild ‘s any wish incomplete for you .
Laksh : ( trying to come out from her mom’s grip where Ragini was controlling her laugh pressing her lips ) mom it’s hurting. Please leave na
AP : Ok ..ok i am leaving you now but one complain from my bahu’s side ( holding Ragini from her shoulder ) i won’t leave you
Laksh:( in a pain and defeat voice ) I know after women rule in my home time . ( said making faces )
Ragini laughed loudly seeing his husband’s face where after sometime AP also joined her
At that time Sanskar entered inside MM very tiredly who has returned now retiring from his work. Laksh looked at Sanskar’s direction then turned towards AP : Mom why aren’t heating the meal for bhai. Look he is looking so tired ( walked towards Sanskar and stood beside him placing his hand on Sanskar’s shoulder )
AP walked away not telling anything leaving a broken Sanskar behind her.
Sanskar: It’s ok Laksh . Actually I am not hungry. Now I just want a sleep . So good night and meet with you tomorrow good night Ragini wished before ascending the stairs
Laksh and Ragini were giving a sad look to each other watching Sanskar’s back.
At AP room
AP was watching the childhood photographs of Sanskar’s . In one photo , a 5 year Sanskar is making his first drawing of her face . Still he has kept it in his wardrobe telling it’s his best painting .
She turned the next page where a 6 yrs Sanskar has sitted on the ground holding a 4 years Laksh. Laksh was always loving his big brother from his childhood. They are inseparable from their childhood which is just showing their bond at this photo.
Next photo a proud moment, when a 10 year Sanskar is getting first prize in the debate competition.
He was talented from his childhood from which AP took her side going against her husband’s wish when he was wanting Sanskar takes the business responsibility she had supported Sanskar going against her husband. Because Sanskar was wanting to complete his education first going Uk . Then he wanted to do something by his own. And she supported Sanskar on his dream.
When Sanskar completed his education, she was the first person who was happy . When he started his new business, she had given her all 30% shares to Sanskar without hearing anyone. And she was… is and will never regret due to this. Because she knows, she has done right taking that decision and it is the best decision will have taken by her .
But she had heart broken when she got to know , Sanskar was doing acting with all those day. She wasn’t believing, Who never hide anything from her now he was playing with others emotions. Her anger increased more when she saw Laksh devastated look after left Ragini . And the reason behind Laksh’s pain is , Sanskar..only Sanskar. It had worked like a fuel on fire for her.
A soft touch on her back palm of her hand returned back to her thoughts, she looked towards the source with her glistering eyes who are ready to come out from her eyes.
Laksh shook his head as a ” No ” , who entered inside the room before some minutes when his mother had engrossed on her own world.
Laksh: Why you are punishing yourself mom ??
AP 🙁 avoiding her eye contact) I am not punishing myself nor anyone
Laksh: You are ( said as a matter of fact )
AP : ( trying to change the talk ) Laksh , you go. Ragini will must wait for you .
Laksh 🙁 not in a mood to change the topic) today I won’t go anywhere nor I will allow you to avoid my questions. Mom, we all know how you love Sanskar bhai. You love him more than from me and Adarsh bhai . And trust me , sometime we feel jealous seeing your bond with bhai. But that doesn’t mean , we both hate that . But now seeing your equation with bhai , which we both really don’t like.
Laksh: We want our happy family back mom. Now when everything is fine , why you are destroying it by your anger . Where it’s not bhai’s fault. Why are you giving him punishment, which he does never do . ( AP looked towards Laksh in a puzzle way ) . Bhai did this drama because he wasn’t wanting who wants to harm him that person harm his family , whom he loves very much on this earth. For this he did this drama before us. But you know mom, how he feels seeing all of you so close but don’t part of all of us . It was world’s big punishment for him. Every night he cries holding our family photos. In this whole one year, he has craved for all of our loves. He longing for his badi mom’s affection, when she shows caressing his hairs on his sleep. But I have seen that mom ( said loudly where AP was crying so badly imagining Sanskar’s condition where she wasn’t there for him. How much is she a bad mother ?? )
Laksh stood in front of his mom and starting walking near the window.
Laksh : And for your information mom , Bhai didn’t know about our deal. If he knows about it, then he never allows me to do all these nonsense. Bhai wants you mom , wants your support like you always do. Now he needs you by his side like you always stand beside him.
Bhai is guilty for his deeds , don’t force him to hate him mom. This hatred will kill him , mom : When turned his face facing AP but he didn’t find her no where.
In Sanskar room
Sanskar has sitted on his bed face palming his face when he heard a….” tuck ” sound on his tea table. He lifted his face uncovering his fingers from his face where AP was placing a food covered tray on table .
AP: Go and freshen up nor the dinner will become cool. I won’t again heat up it.
Sanskar went inside his washroom following his badi mom’s order like a obedient son. When he came out from the washroom found AP had waited for him sitting on couch like before.
He sat a little away from her and picked up his plate from table. But before that AP picked the food plate and forwarded a morsel towards Sanskar . Sanskar took that bite with glistering eyes. He was missing ….missing all these love…care…affection ….pamper ….he was craving his badi mom who only understand him better than him.
I AM SO….RR…Y: At the end a tear dropped on his cheek which was showing how much guilty he is feeling at this time ?
AP cleaned his corner lip on her boarder of saree and placed a lingering kiss on his forehead which shows a motherly love towards her child.
She held Sanskar’s hand and walked near the bed . She lied Sanskar on bed and sat near him on the edge of bed. When Sanskar’s head touched on pillow next moment he slept keeping his head on AP’s lap where AP is caressing his hairs.
Sanskar: ( said closing his both eyes )Did you forgive me badi mom? You don’t hate me , which I have done in my past ?
AP : First thing, I have never hate you. If I will want then I can’t too. And yes I was angry on you but now I am understanding your situation. Then yes I have forgiven you .( softly kissed on his hairs where a heart touched smile played on his lips ).
Then both just stay there like this few minutes more in silent.
Can everyone forgive me for my past deeds ? : Sanskar asked breaking the silence
AP first try to understand the meaning of his words then said : Yes , because you do this for all’s happiness. If you will asking about Swara ( Sanskar looked her face keenly and listened her words carefully ) then obviously she will forgive you. Because till when I know her, she is a very sweetest girl I have met till now.
AP ( said stroking his hairs gently ) You know , she made your friend that time when people were thinking you are a mad. And they were pitying on you. But she is very different from others which she has proved accepting your friendship with your all flaws. She has never treated you like a mad nor pity on you . She has always treated you like her best friend. She is a gem Sanskar. At any cost won’t loose her in your life.
AP: I know she is angry….hurt…feeling cheated from her own friend cum husband. But please don’t loose your hope on her . Back my bahu and complete my family Sanskar. It will be the best gift for your badimom by your side.
Sanskar: Then I will obviously give it to you badimom without a single thought ( said in a confirming voice where happiness was witness on their faces )
After sometime Sanskar drifted his dream world where AP was lightly patting his chest above his heart. After a long time Sanskar slept a sound sleep on her badi mom’s lap.
A happy Sujata was watching all this standing near the door .
Scree froze on Sanskar’s sleepy and AP and Sujata’s happy faces.
