Ali: Maam ….is it okay there? He enquired with tention….
Gudi: yaah okay…
Ali: shak nahi huva na unko…(did he douted you?)
Gudi: abtak tho nahi ……aage dekhna hai……she replied
Ali: okay maam….if u want anything call me maam….me nd Rosy r at Abdullah’s house….
Gudi: okay ….one minute….from tomorrow onwards…..you will hv to stay at the centre with a vehicle…
Ali: okay maam…I will bring the car….
Gudi: haan car….(with a sarcastic tone) ha…no get a chopper that will be much better
Ali: maam …..he called with a confusing voice……..chopper???
Gudi: Ali wt happened to you….after staying with your friend may be your brain stopped working properly…..
Ali: sorry maam….he asked excuse…
Gudi: teek hai…..take an auto from your friend nd stay at the centre with it …nd one more thing change ur get up before come to the centre with auto…
Waise if u want u can earn money through the auto…okay…said this she disconnedcted the call…
Ali was shocked hearing her words and then he realized wt she told…..its just for fun to relieve their tention she said it….thinking about it he smiled…..Rosy asked him why are you laughing and is maam fine?….he said the same wt Kaal said to him…she laughed at last words of her maam and relieved from her tention…
After disconnecting the call she observed every inch of the house …its just a large single room which hv less comforts……she sat in a near by wooden sofa….
Kaal: (in mind) well you played a big game with two lifes to win the game of heirs….now I will change the game…..get ready to face it Mr.Shakti Singh Oberoi…..
She came out from her thoughts when Mahi entered inside ……he kept a cover beside her and he silently went near the wooden tea-poy and sat down on the floor….kept a bottle on the tea-poy…she understood wt is it….he opened it and emptied in one go….rested back leaning to the wooden chair and closed his eyes….she observed all his acts silently….
She got up and went near the kitchen platform…..took a plate….came back …..opened the cover which was brought by Mahi….she saw biryani ….she served half of it in the plate….moved near to Mahi …kept the plate on tea-poy..
Gudi: after a peg hv some food is good for health……..plz hv it………she said with concern…
Mahi slowly opened his eyes…his focus laid on her eyes which are showering kindness…he immediately turned his eyes to another side bcz he is unable to control himself from losting in her eyes…he didn’t understand it wy did it happen?…..
Gudi: I know you are angry one me…but don’t show the same on food…plz….she pleaded…
Mahi: (without looking at her) look….go and hv food……sleep silently without making my head gangaram….nd remember just leave the house before i wake up in the morning…understand….he said in rash nd closed his eyes..
Without saying a single word she went back to her place….sat in it and focused on him….she doesn’t hv idea when her eyes were closed….
IN THE MORNING:
Kaal woke up with a jerk….she looked around and understood where she was…. ….she observed the plate which she kept on the table last night with biryani still remained in the same position…..she looked at Mahi who is still sleeping on the floor like a baby…
Kaal: (in mind) he slept with empty stomach…..wt can I do now?..
She thought a while and cameout from the house…..she looked around…calmly picked her phone and messaged Ali…
After few minutes Ali came there wearing a cap which covered his face……a tea flask nd a bun packet were there in his hands…..
Ali: Maam ….take this maam…..need any thing else….he asked her giving the items to her….
Kaal: its enough…if need I will message….okay …leave……said
He left from there……
Who are u? who is he? Y did he call u Maam?……she was shocked hearing this questions from her back……she slowly turned back……she saw a boy of nearly 10 years old….his eyes filled with a doubt nd anger…….she relieved from her shock seeing the boy…..
Kaal: I ….me… leave it….first u tell me who r u?
Boy: me I am chotu…..Mahi bhayya’s friend…….who r u?…he again asked the same….
Kaal: I ..i …am also his friend…..she replied
Chotu: friend…but I never saw you before….nd that man is calling u Maam…tell me the truth otherwise I will tell it to bhayya…he warned her
She immediately held his hand nd dragged that boy from there ……
She looked around nd sat under the tree…
Kaal: Chotu….do u like Mahi? She questioned
Chotu: haan …..Mahi bhayya is a good person….nobody likes him here…but I like him….
Kaal: u can do anything for him right…she again asked
Chotu: haan ..i can but y r u aksing all these? He asked her with little confusion
Kaal: if Mahi condition will become better u will be happy right…
Chotu: haan…..he replied with the same confusion
Kaal: gud…I came here to make his position better…..so plz don’t tell him about wt did u see here nd will u help me in it ?……plz she requested him …
Chotu is a child but he is very wise….he thought a while…he like Mahi very much….he never hate him like others…..he lost his father when he was born…..Mahi helped him a lot when his mother was sick….now he got the opportunity to help Mahi….
Chotu: okay I will help you…..really will you make his position better?…he asked her with doubt
Kaal smiled hearing his question…..she put her hand on his head nd caressed his hair with love….chotu felt happy as her touch showing a pure love…
Kaal: chotu…I promise you… I will do it at any cost…..trust me…..she promised him
He nodded his head happily…….she asked him lets go……he said yes
They both came inside the house…..she kept the items on the tea-poy…..Mahi woke up hearing the sound which was came by keeping the items on tea-poy….. He looked Kaal……
Mahi: you …..still here…..he lightly shouted seeing her
Kaal: I am going ….i thought u didn’t eat last night so I brought tea nd bun for u ….plz …she pleaded
Before her completion he again shouted …..she left from there with a scary eyes…..
Chotu: Mahi Bhayya who is she? He aksed very innocently
Mahi didn’t replied him..
Chotu: she is very beautiful….looking like a film heroin…..he declared
Hearing Chotu’s words he remembered their convo nd her words….a little smile appeared on his lips..
Chotu looked him with surprise…as he never saw Mahi while smiling…
Chotu: Mahi bhayya …r u smiling…
With his question he looked Chotu…
Mahi: no not at all…said
Chotu: jhoot…..u r smiling … I saw ……he teased him
Mahi: yeh chup…nothing like that……stop it nd eat that bun…he said with little anger…
Chotu: no not only me…we both will eat …plz ………..he pleaded
Mahi: ok I will come………said he left from there…
Chotu focused his view towards the street end……he saw Kaal who stood at the centre……she sighed him as did he eat? Chotu again sighed her wait ….she nodded
After few minutes Mahi came inside nd they both completed eating nd hv tea….after that Chotu came out nd showed thums up sign to Kaal…..she nodded her head happily nd left from there…..
Chotu looked back at Mahi nd left from there nd he reached Kaal after few minutes …..
Kaal: thanks Chotu for wt u did nd trusting me…
Chotu: its okay Di….its my pleasure to help Mahi bhayya.,,,,,,
Kaal: chotu ……take this nd keep with u always …..whenever I am not here if any problem r any emergency is there call me….my number already feeded in it………said while giving him a mobile….
Nd don’t show it to Mahi….okay…..
Chotu was surprised seeing the mobile….he understood nd trusted her than before……he nodded….
Kaal: okay now I am going…..but I will come in the evening …..until my return…….u stay with Mahi… okay…she said
Chotu accepted….left from there….
IN THE NIGHT
Its around 9 Oclock…….Kaal entered in the street…….she slowly moved towards Mahi’s house…..she stood infront of the house nd before she nocked the door …
Mahi: you…why did u come here again…..i told u to leave…….
She turned back with scary eyes nd looked him..
Kaal: where did I go? I already told you…I don’t know anybody except you….so I came here……she said with innocence……
Mahi: achha….where did you disappear throughout the day? He enquired…
Kaal: vo…. I went to watch the shooting which was going near by the area……..she said happily
Mahi: good…..go there nd sleep…..he went inside nd closed the door…..
Chotu came there nd saw Kaal……she looked at him…..he sighed wait ….nd he left inside as the door was unlocked….
Chotu: bhaiyya….the same girl again came here……
Mahi didn’t replied him…….
Chotu: call her inside bhaiyya……may be it will rain ……plz call her inside…..
Mahi looked him with anger nd said don’t interefere in it …….Chotu signaled her as no chance..he is angry….
Kaal left from there nd sat under the tree……she signaled Chotu as I will sit here until he will call her inside……
Chotu again asked Mahi….Mahi rejected to call her….
Chotu: Mahi Bhayya…..ladki hai….vo bhi raat hui…..call her plz……….he became little angry with his silence…………….why r u rejecting to give her shelter…..he questioned Mahi…..
Mahi looked at him…….
Mahi: Chotu …everybody know about me…..she is looking like a village girl but her face nd eyes expressing something……if I give her shelter the people of this chawl will start talking badly about her…..i don’t like to spoil a girls honor ……bcz of this I am denying to give shelter………he explained nd closed his eyes……
Chotu looked at Mahi nd understood wt did he say…..his repect on Mahi increased with this act……
He went out nd closed the door…..nd slowly reached Kaal nd said her wt Mahi said to him…….she heard it with surprise nd understood his character which she witnessed the same in Shivaay from years….she smiled
Kaal: don’t worry Chotu…..he will call me inside…..you go nd sleep…..gud night saying she said bye….
Chotu: Di…plz come to my house….he invited…..
Kaal smiled nd nodded her head in no nd said him to leave….he nodded nd left from there….
She sat there in the same posture………after mid night slowly strated raining…..she was drenched in rain fully……but she didn’t move a single step from there……..Ali came near her with an umbrella who was continuously watching from far sitting in his auto…..seeing Ali she denied to take the umbrella nd said him to leave…..he has no option except obeying her order…..he left from there nd sat in the auto focusing his Maam….when his eyes were closed he didn’t know…..in early morning he suddenly woke up nd saw his maam…..he was shocked seeing her….she laid on the ground nd fully became wet due to rain….when he was about to go near her……Chotu came there nd he saw Kaal…..he ran towards her nd called her several times nd patted on her hand to wake her up…..but she didn’t ……he immediately ran towards Mahi’s house nd he started knocking on the door very forcely…
