The episode begins with Bala waiting for the challenge to end so that he could leave as contract labor. He offered Anand and Lakshmi to join him. Anand told that they dint have the guts like Bhim Rao to stand for something. They may differ in opinion but must respect Bhim Rao’s effort against contract labor. Bala taunted Anand for being thrown away from house yet yearning to work here. Anand told that Bhim Rao was now marired, and Bala isn’t aware of Bhim Rao. Bhim Rao can forget bur Rama doesn’t let him.
Rama was worried about the court and Bala’s challenge. In order to find a solution, she meditated like Bhim Rao does.
Bhim Rao and the lawyer presented their case in front of Judge.
Hitesh, Joku and Janardan were came back wearing their new coats.

The lawyer was frustrated with Bhim Rao; he threw away all his papers. The lawyer was in lead.
Joshi and Varchand congratulated each other. Jijabai wanted to adopt a child. They saw Rama meditating. Joshi wanted to inform Rama but Jijabai requested to do so. She went to Rama. Rama was shocked. Jijabai told that Judge ruled justly. He gave them a day’s time, either apologies to Jijabai or find a child to adopt. If not, then everyone in the family will be punished. Rama wanted Ramji to fulfil Jijabai’s demand. Bhim Rao intervened, he was against the false allegations. Jijabai didn’t care, atleast the ruling was in her favor. Meera told that one must know the correct balance in what to win and losse, she might get a child from this but would lose a lot in return. Jijabai knew that she will lose a lot but yet she wanted to have a child. She asked Meera to remind Ramji about the ruling, he has a day’s time. Years back Ramji asked her to not to ask for child if she wanted to live happily. Years later, she is asking him to adopt a child if he wants to live happily. He must fulfil his wife’s responsibilities. Ramji took Jijabai. Meera questioned, Ramji needed not to talk to Jijabai. Bhim Rao said that it was their private matter, they must talk it out.
Ramji brought Jijabai to a corner. Jijabai was ready to hear Ramji’s lectures and taunts. He told Jijabai that he cannot adopt a child, he cannot bare his family being punished for it. He had never hide anything form Jijabai. Ramji was only stubborn when it came to Bhim Rao. Ramji told Jijabai that he fainted yesterday, felt like he would die. Ramji begged in front of Jijabai, he wanted to live but cannot live with Jijabai or court’s conditions. Jijabai requested Ramji not to beg, she knew that Ramji had a lot of people in his life before her. She accepted that Ramji told him the truth of not have a child with her the first night of their marriage. She lived with him all these years, got all his children married. Now she wanted to live for herself. She told Ramji had he needs to make decision by tomorrow.
Hitesh and his fellows were pleased to wear new coats.
Jijabai came back. Rama asked her what happened. Jijabai asked Rama to question Ramji about it. Jijabai left with Joshi. Ramji came, Bhim Rao and rest went home as well.
Hitesh and his fellows came back to chawl wearing new coats. Daliya and Phuliya were shocked to see them. They questioned about the men with mashal eager to burn their coats. Men came out with their mashal. Ramji came back. Daliya asked him about courtroom. Ramji silently went inside. Bala questioned Bhim Rao. Rama told that they have to decide by tomorrow or else the court will punish them.
Ramji came inside, recalled Jijabai requesting to live a portion of her life for herself. She asked him to decide by tomorrow. Ramji burst into tears.
