Anand said that both Maharaj and the man were thieves, Maharaj took the flute with his cunning techniques. Mangesh said the same, Maharaj could kill if it required. He doesn’t understand how this fake Maharaj always gets away with everything. Bhim Rao questioned? He wanted to know how he became a Maharaj, find his past so that one can now who he is connected to thefts. Mangesh agreed.
Maharaj was planning to leave Satara before someone gets to his past. He thought that his immediate absence would put Sethji and Pandith in doubt. He planned to remake his destiny and mold it in such a way that if he ever leaves Satara he could return too.
Next morning, Maharaj prayed. Pandith and Sethji came, they were called by Maharaj. He said that for last few days he has been very disturbed
Ramji and Jijabai were waiting for Sethji(Ramji’s boss) to come. He greeted and praised Ramji for his work. He wanted to tell Ramji about his job and salary. Ramji told Sethji that he was from the lower caste. The workers and Sethji gave him a stare and then laughed as they all belonged to the lower caste. He said that they work for the Britishers, Sethji was the manager here. Since the upper caste refuse to work with them every worker here belongs to the lower caste. Jijabai asked for a job as well. Sethji took them inside to talk.
Pandith announced about the prayer for Sitara’s peace, he asked for donations. Mangesh assumed that after five day, on the day of this prayer Maharaj would leave Satara. Bhim Rao was worried for having only five days. Meera considered Ramji calling them to another village and Maharaj leaving Satara a hint for something better. Mangesh said that the issue as that Maharaj was running away. Tulsa and Manjula asked what to prepare for dinner. Meera told them to make Bhagri but Meera’s grandsons Venaik an Damudan to make rice and lentils. They rushed to hug their grandmother; they came to pay her a visit. Meera asked if everything was alright. They came because they couldn’t focus on their studies, everybody back their considered education a useless cause. They came here so they could focus on their studies. They asked where Ramji and Jijabai were, Meera told them they have left. Bhim Rao said that they left so we could grow up.
Ramji Jijabai, Bhim Rao and the family had dinners at their respective houses.
Bhim Rao and his siblings studied. Ramji wrote his journal as well.
Anand said that they couldn’t find anything against Maharaj. Bhim Rao was worried. According to Ramji and Bhima Bai all that does wrong ends wrong, but Maharaj was the opposite. Mangesh came, he had found Maharaj’s reality. He told everyone about it. Bhim Rao said that this truth was their last opportunity to fight Maharaj. A man came with Ramji’s letter for Bhim Rao. He wrote that he has found a nice job here, settled in a house. He wanted Anand and Bhim Rao to pay a visit and then decide when they would move in. He asked Bhim Rao to tell his decision to the man who brought the letter since his house was far away from the station he would have to arrange a ride for them. Bhim Rao wrote Ramji a letter, he told him about his plan to disclose Maharaj. He said that they would come to him the day after. The man gave them sweets and books Ramji sent for them. Bhim Rao asked for Ramji’s blessing, that when he pays him a visit he comes with the good news of defeating Maharaj.
The Maharaj lured everyone to donate in God’s name, he asked everyone to close their eyes and pray from God for a better life and family and for prosperity and better future. Bhim Rao came asking Maharaj about his family. Anand asked Maharaj to inform the villagers about his past. The villagers should know about the man under who’s name they were building a temple. Maharaj asked that didn’t Ramji tell them that keeping away from family was the first rule for becoming a Maharaj. They only belong to the place they worship in. Anand said that since he claimed to be God now, people must be informed about his past like where he was born, the area he belonged to. It is very necessary for the followers to know such information. Maharaj replied that in the stage of adolescence he learned about his destiny to worship God, he sacrificed his family for it and now he doesn’t remember who his parents and family were. Bhim Rao said that who were these people, a lady came along with two youngster boys. Maharaj was astounded to see them
