The episode begins with Nirmala taking the glass of poison from Joshi. Joshi seemed satisfied but Nirmala threw it on Joshi’s face. She decided to live.
The brother-in-law refused to leave with his father. He would do what he will. His father questioned him for disrespecting him. He pointed that Nirmala used to call him a father as well, but he didn’t care for her. The son left. The father accused Bhim Rao. Rama asked the man to leave. She asked him not to accuse his husband his family matters. Ramji said that Bhim Rao tried to convince everyone. Ramji asked the man to leave. Bhim Rao was worried about Nirmala. Ramji asked Bhim Rao to leave.
Men came questioning Joshi and his parents about Nirmala, they heard she was running away with her brother-in-law. The parents denied the allegation, said that the brother-in-law has lost his mind. He accused him of forcing their daughter to run away with him. Meanwhile, Nirmala came out and told everyone that they were running away together. Her mother took her inside. She refused to lie to everyone. Her father told that his daughter was being accused. Nirmala came out, told that his father was lying. The men threatened to kill Nirmala and oust her parents from the caste. The brother-in-law came, asked the men to oust him and Nirmala from the caste. Joshi taunted him for coming back. Joshi asked everyone to kill him. Joshi’s father asked everyone to kill the man and lift their castes morals and customs. He questioned everyone for killing him. He requested everyone to let him, and Nirmala live together. The people questioned; they were about to kill him. Bhim Rao came, he stopped everyone. Joshi questioned Bhim Rao for entering his house. He understood that Bhim Rao instigated Nirmala and her brother-in-law for this action. Joshi threatened to kill the man. The lawyer intervened, told that Bhim Rao wasn’t alone and in use of violence a court action would take place. Nirmala’s in laws took their son. Bhim Rao told that there is another path, other than violence, which is called law. Everyone left. Nirmala called Bhim Rao victorious in front of Bhim Rao. She degraded Joshi.
Bhim Rao was thankful to his lawyer for reaching in time. The lawyer said that it was Bhim Rao who had it all done. He asked Bhim Rao to be aware, he must take care of himself.
At night, Joku wondered why Phuliya hadn’t done her work. He shouted at Phuliya for not working on time. Phuliya questioned. Joku yelled at her, asked her to finish work and then come massage her feet. Joku left. Rama came. Phuliya questioned her. Rama asked if Bhim Rao ever asked him not to earn or sit on protest with them. Phuliya wanted Rama to leave. Rama forced Phuliya to listen to her. She said that Phuliya decided to support Bhim Rao herself, he helped Phuliya when another woman came into Joku’s life. Rama told that she and Bhim Rao started considering Phuliya their family. She shouldn’t have stood against them. Phuliya left.
Rama turned around to see Bhim Rao standing behind her. Bhim Rao said that he never cared what others thought of him. Rama told that she wasn’t like her husband. She cared what others thought.
Nirmala’s family dragged her out of the house. They wanted to dig her in a grave. Her mother stood helplessly. Nirmala freed herself, she ran away.
Bhim Rao wrote in his journal about the cruelty and injustice of this world. He agreed with Rama, Ramji, and lawyer. Bhim Rao can not fight for everyone. He understood lawyers’ advice to use himself in such a way that other could take help from.
Nirmala came to chawl, she shouted for Bhim Rao. She asked Bhim Rao to help her. Her family members dug a grave for her. Joshi and his family came. Nirmala hid behind Rama and Bhim Rao. Bhim Rao asked Rama what to do. Joshi steppe forward. Rama stopped Joshi, said that she would take care of Nirmala. Bhim Rao supported Rama. Nirmala’s father threatened her with his power. Rama asked him to question Joshi if their power has ever frightened Bhim Rao and Rama.
