Jaggu and the other neighbors take off their shirts after which Meghnat gives them the money ordering that they should distribute it amongst themselves right now, he says they should leave after putting their clothes outside. Meghnat asks Bhim Rao how he spoiled the image of his people by offering them some money, he says that Bhim Rao should try to stop them.
In the night Jija Bai is working when Lakshmi and Rama enter the house so Jija Bai asks if Karuna did not come, Lakshmi explains that Karuna neither wants to come with them nor go and so she should not ask such questions, Rama further says that Jija Bai has caused so much differences among them then nothing can happen, Lakshmi asks Rama to wait while she will bring the water and then exclaims they would cook the food after
In the night Bhim enters the Chawl with the clothes, Deepak asks whose clothes has he brought when Bhim replies they belong to Jaggu and the others, Phulari coming questions why did he snatch the clothes from her husband as it is very cold but then the mother of Deepak says Phulari should first let Bhim say something, she agrees demanding he should tell the whole story so Bhim informs they came to his office where Meghnat offered them work only if they remove their clothes and leave, he tried to stop them saying it is to insult them but they did not listen to him saying Bhim should give them money if he wants them to not go, and he is fearing they might even get ill in this cold weather, Phulai agrees that Jaggu did the right thing as he would get the money, Phulari says that they have arrived but they did not take the clothes and instead Jaggu starts giving the money to Phulari, Bhim hands them their clothes when Jaggu says they even got the money and have to go there, Manohar asks Bhim to learn something from them because the money which Bhim earns in two months, they got in a single day and what is the need to learn so much, Manohar leaves saying Bhim should think on it for the entire night and even write it in his diary, Ramji stops Jaggu, Jakhardhan and Manohar explaining that ti has been going for a long time that those who donot have money are not thought good about, Ramji says that his son was worried for their health, he informs that Phulari took the money from Jaggu when he returned but his son gave him the clothes.Rama says she is going to talk of today when they all think Meghnat and Shishupal as wealthy but for her Bhim Rao is the wealthiest person, Lakshmi along with Aanad, Deepak and others also support Bhim. Rama mentions this fight would always go on between the wealthy and people like her husband, they will even have the choice whom they chose either Meghnat and Shishupal or people like her husband. Rama asks Bhim to come inside when Jaggu says they would keep questioning him because with his learning they never get the food or house and even the Tanga would not move with his knowledge while the life will not improve, they also ask why does Rama and Bhim go to work and so Jaggu says that this is why wealth is greater then their knowledge and thinking but Bhim says that money was never greater saying everyone would surely understand it either today or in the future, he leaves with Rama.
In the night Bhim Rao is studying when Rama enters the room but she goes to start setting the books of Bhim Rao and then brings a book, Bhim asks if she wants to say something when she agrees and she says that she feels that it would ruin his study, Rama informs she got a job at the same place where Lakshmi and Karuna work, Bhim is excited explaining that even she would be able to work, Rama says that the manager said they would even get over time for their work. Karuna says that Bhim Rao was talking of principles but is now eagerly adding money, Karuna demands an answer from Bhim saying he cannot stay quiet when Rama says Karuna should argue with her, Bhim stops Rama mentioning that she is holding a book which does not teach them to argue and so she should sit down, Karuna says she will not think Bhim is doing the right thing, Jija Bai entering explains Bhim never does the right thing and only gives lecture, while if someone asks him about the reason then he would not be able to say anything, Bhim replies he has a reason when Jija Bai questions he should prove how the thought is greater then money. Bhim says the people of upper class had an idea which they distributed amongst everyone that has been followed but it is not the same with every wealthy person as the Siaghi Mahraj stood by him because his thought overpowered everyone, Bhim says that when their thought gets strength then it would contradict the thought of the upper class and they would finally be free otherwise they will surely lose everything.
Jaggu along with Manohar and Jakhardhan are planning to wear nice clothes for the event that will happen tomorrow when Nandu comes requesting them to not go tomorrow but Jaggu says that surely Bhim would have send him but Nandu says he heard people from the upper class cursing them.
Bhim tells Jija Bai and Karuna that they would surely be able to buy flowers with the money but will be standing with their heads down in the wedding, Jija Bai and Karuna leave while Bhim is tensed.
