Meghnath is shocked when Deepak says he has told everyone that there is something relating to their locality, Meghnath angrily asks Bhim Rao what has Bhim Rao published in the newspaper, Bhim says they met a person belonging to the police line in front of the police station and so he went to ask him what has happened but the person got furious, Bhim then said that they have found the news so they published it in the newspaper, while even the people would buy the newspaper if there is a news regarding their own locality, Meghnath asks what effect would it have since at most only five people will come but they have to sell at least twenty paper, Sethji says those people are different who are contended with what they get but Bhim has the ability to turn even a small thing into a large profit,
Bhim says if he tells the truth that he lost trust on himself but his own people supported him and today they are seeing the result of it, he says they would surely be able to sell twenty newspaper. Shishupal says then Meghnath would have to accept one of their condition. Bhim gives the newspaper to the people along with Shishupal and Lakshmi, they all are smiling after getting the money while Meghnath is not able to believe what he is seeing as the people keep coming to purchase the newspapers, Shishupal hands the money to Bhim who has a smile on his face, he says Meghnath they have till now sold eighteen newspaper and the two would be sold very soon so Meghnath hesitantly says he just said it last night and knows even a child can sell twenty newspapers so Bhim can live in Bombay, he turns to leave but Shishupal angrily holds the hand of Meghnath seeing which everyone is stunned and worried, Shishupal says that they had placed a bet so would he not fulfill it, Shishupal tells Bhim that Meghnath would listen to one of their desires and Bhim should tell him what he needs to accept, Meghnath gets shocked seeing Shishupal saying he is now humiliating him, Rama says Meghnath should at least trust her husband as he would not say anything to humiliate him, Shishupal says Meghnath should not back out of what Bhim says to him, Deepak says they have heard that people like Meghnath donot back out of their promises hearing this Meghnath questions what does he have to do, hen Bhim sees the people who support Meghnath walking past them so asks them all to come as he has some work from them, Bhim even calls the other people standing there seeing which everyone gets a bit tensed, Meghnath asks if Shishupal saw that Bhim has called everyone to humiliate him, Shishupal replies even if today Meghnath humiliates him then he should not back out, Meghnath says he is also a man so will not back out, he looks to all the people saying to Bhim that everyone has come and he should humiliate him for as long as he desires, Deepak runs to the Chawl to call his mother and Ramji, when Ramji asks him to slow down so Deepak says Meghnath has lost the bet, hearing which Jija Bai, Karuna and Bala are stunned so Deepak says that Bhim can make him accept one of his desires, Jija Bai says that Bhim has gotten the enemy on his knees so would surely say something bad, Ramji angrily replies his son would not do anything of the sort, Ramji leaves with Meera, Deepak, Shoba and Puran. Jija Bai says to Meera and Bala that the person who can send people from his own Chawl then would he let the enemy get away.
Meghnath angrily asks Bhim what does he have to do, Bhim says he and his people want to live with them which is what they are fighting for, but Meghnath is always busy in setting the bets that he has to leave Bombay, further saying they always want to think of the people of the upper class as their own and it is not about a bet since it is amongst two people or small groups but their fight is amongst two classes, which is why it is not suitable to place bets amongst them. Shishupal asks how is Bhim as he had such a nice chance and could have made his father do anything but he let the chance go, Sethji asks Meghnath to think that Bhim could have humiliated him and so Meghnath should give them the right to live freely when Meghnath says Bhim should tell him what he has to do otherwise he will leave, Bhim says he should give him a chance to hug him even if he can get purified after it all but according to the bet Meghnath should let him hug him for once. Shoba says Ramji told the truth that Bhim would say something different, Sethji says Meghnath would have to accept it.
Bhim hugs Meghnath after walking close to him seeing which the supporters of Bhim are smiling while even Shishupal and Shamla are stunned along with the other people of the upper class, Meghnath is not even able to move his hands, Bhim says to Meghnath they all are the same and he should look at them with the eyes of humanity. Ramji starts clapping for his son followed by all the supporters of Bhim Rao, who all have a smile on their face. Meghnath pushes Bhim away seeing which they all are shocked, Meghnath leaves with his men while everyone keep standing outside the police colony. Bhim gets a bit tensed.
