Bhima tells his Baba he may not be able to buy expensive veggies today but you saved their religion, dharma, God and faith from being sold today. I found out but tell them why you did not swear upon God and told them the truth. Why were you quiet? Ram ji tells Maharaj that he could have easily sworn on kaki’s beads but Devdasi swore before me. One of us would have sworn falsely if I had done that. Kaki has spent her life by believing in these beads. This would have been proved false in a second. She might not have been able to bear this. Creating God as per your wish is what’s actually wrong. There is a difference between faith and superstition. People like you should make sure everyone walks on the right path by understanding the difference between the two. Bhimbai frees his

hands. Ram ji hugs his wife and son. Maharaj looks at the faces of all those present around him. He tells the Devdasi she swore falsely in the name of God. You played with your character even after being a Devdasi. This is a sin. You will be punished for it. Bhima tells him to continue playing this game. I only want to tell you that my Baba is my pride. You can plot many times but you cannot diminish or blur the truth ever! He holds his Baba’s hand asks heads home with his family.

Kaki folds his hands before Ram ji. He tells her not to feel embarrassed over her faith. I respected it because it was about your faith. People who are playing with others’ faith are the ones who should be ashamed about it.

Devdasi fakes an epilepsy attack. Sakpal family notices her from far. Maharaj calls it the wrath of God. She is in this condition because of swearing falsely. Those who were worried for her till now nod in affirmation. Maharaj asks them to thank God.

Ram ji calls it a new drama to engage the people. They will never stop selling such ideas to people.

People from the lower community apologize to Ram ji for not believing him. Your silence made us feel that you are guilty. We wont do it again. Bhima is in thoughts. Ram ji forgives them. Bhima says you did so much for them. You keep thinking about them always yet they dint stand by you when you needed them the most. How it is correct? Silence does not mean that the person is guilty. Opponents raise their voice so much sometimes which forces others to believe it that they are right. I don’t know about Baba but I am pained to know that we don’t trust each other. How will we fight with others for our rights and justice then? They request him to forgive them. We wont do it again. Bhima walks away. Ram ji explains that kids are very emotional. He will be fine in some time. I have nothing against you all. Just don’t let your faith break so easily. He heads home.

Maharaj announces that no one will treat this Devdasi now. Her decision is in God’s hands now. You all should go. Consider yourself blessed to have witnessed this miracle with your own eyes. Everyone leaves. Maharaj dismisses his assistant. He tells the Devdasi to go inside asap. Everyone has left already. She complies.

Devdasi thanks Maharaj for telling her how to save herself. They would have killed me otherwise. He denies. They are fools. I know what to say to them and when! He asks leave town with Katya tonight. She goes to pack her bags.

Bala and the girl eat food. He throws the paper plate in the dustbin. She wipes a tear from the corner of her eyes. Bala asks her what happened. She shakes her head but he tells her that she can trust him. she says I don’t even remember when I got married. I heard about my husband’s death when I was 6-7 years old. I dint understand what was happening with me. My head was shaved and I was forced to cry. I started getting one meal in a day. This continued for years. I was hungry one day when a guy brought food for me. I couldn’t tell this to anyone. He said that life is the best gift. It is to be lived. His words spoke of life. I fell in love with him afterwards. I told myself it is a sin for which I wont be forgiven ever. I started thinking of him as my God but he left me alone today! She cries. The way you threw the plate after having a meal made me think of him. He used to do the same. That’s what made me emotional. Bala requests her not to cry. I can understand your pain. We will find a solution.

Meera is waiting for Bala. He should have been home by now. Bhimbai says the same thing. Villagers bring food for Bhima. He might be your son but he means something to us also. He has done a lot for us. We weren’t feeling good as he is upset with us. We came to apologize to him and have brought his favourite food. Ram ji asks Bhima if he will eat all this alone. Bhima nods. He asks them to promise him that people from their community will always believe one another. There is no relation and no battle can be fought in the absence of faith. They promise him. Bala comes home with the girl. Bhima accepts food from them. Everyone is surprised to see Bala with the girl. Bala asks the girl to come inside before someone sees them. She asks him which caste he is from. She makes it sound like an accusation. Are you from the lower community? Everyone looks at her in shock. She refuses to step inside. I will die but I wont step inside ever! I cannot commit such a big sin as I am from an upper community. Why did you hide this from me? Ram ji asks Bala who she is. Why did you bring her here? Bala says I will tell you everything. He tries to take her inside but she warns him to stay away. I might die but I don’t have anything to do with you. I accepted food and water from you. Bhimbai and Bhima ask Bala again. He is worried for her. She tells him to tell them whatever he wants to. Tell them that you lied to me about your community as well. She walks away. Bala tells his family everything. I thought she will have no place to go to so I brought her home. Bhimbai points out that he brought a widow home who is from an upper community and was planning to elope with another guy!
