In this episode begins with Jijabai asks Phuliya to get more clothes, from a far place. It would help them earn more. Phuliya asked how? Jijabai asked another woman to work for her. She gave money to those women to help them earn more for their living. Rama and Bhim Rao watched Jijabai. Joku praised Jijabai, everyone hailed Jijabai. Bhim Rao left. Jijabai was sure that her plan would be successful.
Rama talked about the different faces one individual hold. Bhim Rao didn’t mind, he was being tested and there was nothing wrong in it. Rama disagreed, she told that Jijabai wasn’t distributing money but buying people. Jijabai was wrong, so was Phuliya. Bhim Rao liked how Rama thought, he said that not everyone was like Rama. Bhim Rao went to Joshi as he tied his sister to a tree. Bhim Rao questioned Joshi. Joshi replied that he was teaching a lesson to all those who were like Bhim Rao. Rama taunted Joshi, because he was being unfair to the sister who tied rakhi on his hand. Bhim Rao reminded Joshi that as a brother he would have sworn to protect her. Varchand, Joshi’s parents and the upper caste. They taunted Bhim Rao for meddling in their matter. Joshi apologized to everyone on his sister behalf, for breaking rituals. She questioned everyone as her husband’s death wasn’t his fault. Joshi reminded that she was widow. Bhim Rao was asked to stay and watch.
Hitesh rushed in the chawl, everyone questioned. Hitesh wanted to inform Ramji about Bhim Rao’s doings. Jijabai came, said that it wasn’t necessary to inform Ramji every time. Let him think that his son as at lawyer’s office.
Varchand asked a man to note down what the people wanted Nirmala to do as widow. Bhim Rao pleaded everyone to be kind to Nirmala, because life has already been unfair to her. A man said that she should spend her time praying. Another man forbids fancy food for. Bhim Rao kept questioning everyone for forcing their decision on her. Rama wanted to take Bhim Rao but Joshi didn’t let him go. Bhim Rao recalled the incident in Sitara. He asked everyone to be send Nirmala to an orphanage. Rama asked Bhim Rao to leave. Bhim Rao refused to stay silent, he took a step forward. Varchand stopped Bhim Rao. Everyone kept listing the rules Nirmala has to follow as a widow. Bhim Rao and Rama argued, Rama made Bhim Rao swear on her. She took him away. Bhim Rao heard the people talk about killing Nirmala in case she didn’t follow the orders.
Jijabai told Ramji that she didn’t use his pension or Bhim Rao and Rama’s earning. Bhabi told that Ramji doesn’t earn enough. Ramji questioned, because Jijabai has never brought money before. She was wasting her money. Jijabai questioned as how her spending the money any different from Bhim Rao and Ramji spending the money. Meera differentiated, Ramji and Bhim Rao spend money for the better while JIjabai intended to ruin Bhim Rao’s life. Bhabai said that Jiajbai was trying to make their lives better.
Bhim Rao questioned Rama, he was against them willing to kill Nirmala. He questioned their rules and norms of killing someone. The lawyer came, said that societal traditions and laws are not absolute. Bhim Rao wanted to change those laws and traditions. Rama asked lawyer to make Bhim Rao understand that there were a lot of enemies between him and Nirmala.
Nirmala said that it would have been better if her mother poisoned her to death. Joshi was frustrated, called her stubborn. They asked her to revise the rules people have forced upon her otherwise she would be killed. Nirmala requested her parents to show some piety. She was just widowed.
Lawyer called Sudha. Bhim Rao questioned. Lawyer told that he was calling his daughter. Bhim Rao asked how she would hear him. Lawyer wanted him to understand that if the voice wasn’t being heard than shouting was of no use. Lawyer told that he can fight in courts, not in the society. It was better for Bhim Rao to come to office and work. Rama questioned the lawyer, that for centuries the lower caste has been servants to upper caste yet never been allowed to enter their homes than how would they help Nirmala by being lawyers in the court.
