Ram ji tells everyone that they must move on from this pain and situation together and help Bhima move on.
Bhima comes to the same spot looking for Bhimbai where they had performed her last rites. He runs in another direction.
Ram ji says people start behaving abnormally in such situations sometimes. The longer you wait the harder it becomes. Bala says we will take time. Ram ji nods. It is important to keep moving in life.
Bhima stops near a cliff. He is unable to find her there as well and calls out to his Aayi. Come and talk to me please. Let’s go to bhoj together. A guy notices Bhima thus. Looks like he has lost his mental balance! He goes to inform Maharaj ji.
Anand tells Bala that Bhima is not at home. Everyone gets worried. Bala says I don’t know
The guy informs Maharaj and his fellow villagers about Bhima’s condition. Maharaj tells them to instigate him and actually turn him into one crazy kid.
Ram ji says he is unable to accept the truth and cannot refuse it either. I will find him.
Maharaj instructs the villagers to let Bhima know about his Aayi. Spread the word among our people as well. Tell them that Bhimbai will seek revenge from everyone as a ghost! People start believing in superstitions easily. They can even kill a living being just to get rid of a ghost!
Ram ji reaches the place where they had performed Bhimbai’s last rites but Bhima isn’t there.
Maharaj tells them to first make Bhima appear crazy. People will then believe that Bhimbai has indeed turned into a ghost. This way, the villagers will eventually throw the entire family out of town. They might even kill some as a sacrifice. He laughs. We will see who survives in the end! Everyone likes his suggestion.
Dhansukhlal and Pundit ji notice Bhima coming their way and sit down to talk. Dhansukhlal says I saw Bhimbai near the dry well. Pundit ji says it happens when someone loves too much. They often come back. What was she doing there? Dhansukhlal says don’t know. She was simply crying. Pundit ji says she must be waiting for Bhima. They shake hands when Bhima runs towards the dry well.
Bhima keeps calling out to his mother. Mangesh hears him shouting for Aayi and starts acting. Someone save me! There is a ghost! He intentionally comes face to face with Bhima. Your Aayi is chasing me as a ghost. He tells Mangesh she is his Aayi. She has come to meet me. He runs in that direction. Few villagers notice Bhima running and get curious. Ram ji asks few passerby’s about Bhima. They tell him where Bhima went.
Bhima falls down while running but still keeps calling out to his Aayi. He cries. Ram ji runs to help him. What happened? What is going on in your mind? Bhima says I met Aayi last night. He tells him everything. I could understand few things and couldn’t understand the other. I was looking for her to ask her what’s on my mind. I cannot find her anywhere though. Where will I find her? He cries. How can I meet her? Ram ji thinks not to break Bhima’s illusion suddenly. He was closest to her. Bhima keeps asking his Baba where he will find her. Ram ji says she must meet you but she wont come to you like this. She cannot be found by running around either. She told you that she will come when you need her. Your restlessness is not a need. Bhima asks him how a need can be defined. Ram ji explains to him. Bhima asks him how he can wait this long. Ram ji reasons that one must wait for this much time, bear this much pain to meet the people who have left us. Bhima hugs him and cries. Why did she die? Ram ji is trying his best to control himself. I don’t have the answer to that. Bhima decides to ask his Aayi when she will meet him next. Ram ji advises him against it. Death is silent. This question is for life. Don’t ask her this question ever. Let’s go home now. We have to attend the bhoj as well. She wanted you to look grand there. They head home.
Bhima is invited on the stage to receive his trophy. Bhima touches his Baba’s feet before going on the stage. Everyone claps as British Officer gives the trophy and certificate to Bhima. Bhima is only looking for his Aayi. He is asked if he wants to say a few words. Bhima nods. I want to say few things but not from here. The host gets surprised. From where? Bhima goes and stands amongst his people. This is the right place. These people, who aren’t related to me, have come here to support me. They are standing far from the stage. Baba told me that Aayi has gone to the other world. Before leaving, she told me to raise my voice for our people. This is my first prize till date. I dedicate this trophy to them. Everyone becomes emotional. This belongs to all of us. I will continue to dedicate many such trophies to them as it belongs to them only. It may be because Aayi wanted that. Her son will do what his Aayi wanted him to. Sakpal family looks on proudly. Everyone claps for Bhima.
