In chawl the women were convincing their husbands to have dinner to which they were refusing. The men asked their women to apologize for supporting Rama and Bhim Rao. Phuliya argued because she did what she considered best for herself. Joku taunted that every other person would end up like Ramji. Rama told that Jijabai has returned. Jijabai came in with her bad. Bhabi asked her whether she did the work. Jijabai asked her to come inside.
Jijabai gave her the money. Bhabi praised her, said that the land she owned was of no use anyways. They would use the money to buy people in this chawl and turn them against Bhim Rao. Jijabai told that no one has ever won against Bhim Rao, but she will not give up. She asked Bhabi to stay here till she accomplishes her task. She has never got her right and rightful place in this house but now she will fight for it. Bhabi was here to help her, she decided to keep the money safe.
Phuliya said that she would not eat as well. Bhim Rao questioned, asked them not to fight. Jijabai questioned Bhim Rao. Ramji asked Jijabai not to interfere. Jijabai taunted Ramji, said that he couldn’t keep his wife happy and now want the same for others. Meera questioned Jijabai tone and behavior. Jijabai asked Meera to take her brother inside. She pleaded in front of the men. Rama asked her not to apologize, the women did nothing wrong. Jijabai said that she was asking the man to eat and let their women have the dinner as well. Hitesh wondered why Jijabai was doing so. Jijabai asked Hitesh to convince everyone. Hitesh said that Jijabai wasn’t in Bhim Rao’s support hence they must respect her saying. Hitesh asked everyone to eat dinner. Rama questioned; Bhim Rao took her inside. Jijabai asked everyone else to leave.
Bhim Rao brought her inside, said that they couldn’t control what happened outside but they can study here. They both started studying. Rama said that Jijabai shouldn’t have talked to Ramji like that. Jijabai must have something in her mind.
Ramji asked Jijabai that she should have stayed in her maternal home if she wanted peace. Jijabai was setting Ramji’s bed. Ramji asked her to answer his question. Jijabai said that she met a monk in her home village. She asked him what to do because everyone in her house questions a lot. The monk told her to remain silent, and she was doing so. Ramji questioned, he refused to let her do so.
