Bhim says he has never held the hand of Bala and always tried to not interfere between Rama and the family but not today as Rama should be allowed to do what she desires, he warns if anyone tries to stop her then would bear the consequence, Jaggu asks Bhim if he is threatening them when lakshmi replies this is the problem with Jaggu as he thinks every word as a threat.
Rama says that she wants to talk with Aai but Jija Bai replies she is not interested however when Rama does not listen then Jija Bai throws the utensil, Bala asks Bhim to let him go inside as Rama would do something wrong, but Bhim replies he knows that his wife can never do anything wrong. Rama once again says she wants to talk which angers Jija Bai who once again throws the utensil, everyone standing outside
Rama says that she wants to talk with Jija Bai but she should not throw the utensils, Rama places the hand of Jija Bai on her head saying that if Jija Bai does not step down from her desire to let Puran leave because then even she would take the money of Baba, Jija Bai replies how will she take it, Rama says that Jija Bai feels that she would become more wealthy if she takes money from Puran then vows to never take it, Jija Bai sits down when Rama holds her hand saying that if the normal people are pressurized then they would talk in the same manner like her and if Jija Bai had not forced her then she would not have talked in this manner, she asks Jija Bai to quickly answer what they must do.
Manohar says this is correct as they should wait that Rama must come out and reveal the answer, Rama walks out with Jija Bai saying that Aai would give the verdict, Phulari asks Jija Bai to not be worried as they all are against her, Jija Bai remembers when Rama vowed to behave like she said and she would otherwise demand the money from the pension of Baba. Phulari asks what happened, when Jija Bai says that Rama started begging on her feet and while crying requested to let Puran kaka stay here for some time after which they would send him and she was crying so much that even she felt bad, but Rama even said she will give everyone food from the money that Puran kaka gave him so no one can say that she is greedy, therefor she thought they should give him some time and so she demands the money from Rama who also is about to hand it but then Puran stops Rama however she places the money in the hand of Jija Bai who is smiling. Rama says that Puran kaka should stay here, Jija Bai thinks she will not give the pension of her husband so easily but even snatched the money from Rama.
Shamla is teaching Shishupal and she asks him to read, Meghnat comes to sit on the chair telling that owl comes after it, which is his son Shishupal. Meghnat asks if Shishupal would do a job after studying asking if he will get just a few pennies as salary, he had such immense wealth but is now planning to study to do a job. Shishupal replies Meghnat is thinking wrong and he does not want to study to get a job but to understand the books which Bhim reads and try to be like him. Meghnat asks what would he do after becoming like Bhim who does a very small job. Shishual asks Meghnat to not think of the education of Bhim with his job as they are born to give a way to the society. Shishupal says he made him the path when he found out and now has to follow the path, Meghnat says Bhim can never become the leader of anyone, he leaves angrily. Shishupal says he does not know of everyone else but Bhim has become his leader.
Janardhan says that they have eaten the food and if Rama has begged Jija Bai then what was the sound of, Phulari explains they should go to check if Jija bai has any injuries however they plan to first have the tea.
Karuna asks Jija Bai how did she change because she cannot accept that Rama cried, Jija Bai said that Rama threatened to take the money from the pension of Ramji which she does not desire but he would have broken all of his promises for the sake of Bhim and Rama, Karuna says that Jija Bai said the truth as what is the need to cause their own loss, Jija Bai replies this is why she acted, Ramji entering mentions that no one accepted her act and are saying that Rama has hit Jija Bai inside when she asks him to not say such things, he replies she always believe she is very smart and everyone else is stupid but he asks her to wait as Phulari would come with an excuse and try to see iff Rama has hit her. Phulari also enters the house asking Jija Bai if she can get some tea, Jija Bai calls Phulari to come close questioning if she can see anything on her face, Ramji thinks there is no reason to convince her, Jija Bai says that she should go as she might be mistaken when Karuna replies they would not be able to give her any tea, Phulari leaves when Jija Bai and Karuna start smiling.
Rama is setting the clothes when Bhim asks what did she say, she says what Jija Bai said in the Chawl but Bhim demands the truth, Rama reveals how she threatened to take the money from the pension of Baba, Bhim asks what is the need to give a threat, Rama replies it is even mentioned in the case and if she managed to let Puran stay here then what is wrong. Rama mentions Bhim also scared her saying she must learn English if she wants to talk with him when he leaves so this is also right, she asks what did he learn and Bhim says that she did not do anything wrong. Rama starts smiling when Bhim leaves.
