Ramji made Kheer to celebrate Rama’s success. Bhimabai used to talk about Bhim Rao’s marriage, she wanted to make kheer for her daughter in law. In case she wasn’t alive somebody must make it for her. Daliya put a mala on Rama, Ramji feed her kheer. Rama liked the kheer, she fed it to Ramji and took his blessings. Rama has never seen her mother in law but by looking at Ramji she knows that Bhimabai was a nice person. Meera said that she was the best. Bhim Rao recalled his memories with Bhimabai.
At night, Bhim Rao looked at the sky and talked to her mother. He told her that Rama is exactly like shw wanted Bhim Rao to be. Rama fights for right and just. Bhimabai would have been glad to know Rama. He recalled how Bhimabai used to wipe his sweat which eased his pain. Today there
Varchand and Joshi discussed the reasons for their defeat. Joshi was drunk, he asked Varchand how to defeat Bhim Rao. Varchand asked Joshi to beat a lower caste approaching him. Joshi called the man. Joshi got himself a stick. The man asked for his mistake. Joshi asked the man to be silent. Joshi told that obeying ordered was his actual status. Joshi wanted to beat him. The man told that he would go to Bhim Rao’s home who would fight for his justice. Joshi threw the stick away. The man left. Joshi screamed in agony.
Ramji was worried about Bala’s wife. Bala didn’t tell him. Rama inquired as well, she got to know that Bala visits frequently but his wife was nowhere to be seen. Bhabi asked Ramji to worry about his wife. Meera replied that Bhabi took her responsibility. Ramji replied that Jijabai left without informing him. Bhabi left. Ramji asked Lakshmi to visit Anand, and ask him to return if he was feeling well. Lakshmi said that she would leave tomorrow. Daliya called Bhim Rao outside.
Joku and other men were dragging their women outside. Bhim Rao questioned. Hitesh blamed Bhim Rao and Rama, said that it was their fault. Joku told that his wife went to protest against his will so he beat Phuliya. Other men did the same. Joku questioned Rama and Bhim Rao. He wasn’t afraid of anyone, neither would he give any fine or tolerate his wife protesting. Phuliya was crying, she was now keen that Joku would never change. Bhim Rao asked the women to file a complaint against the men. Hitesh told that the men would run away. Joku said that he would leave Bombay forever and never return, his wife and all other women would be left alone. The men left. Bhim Rao asked the women not to worry, he would register a complaint. Ramji stopped him, said that rather than punishing the men for their mistake the matter must be resolved. Ramji wanted the issue to stay inside the chawl. They need to create an understanding with their husbands. Meera and Rama agreed. Phuliya said that she would find a way to solve this matter, it wasn’t the first time she was beaten. Rama took Bhim Rao inside.
Next morning, the men were discussing how to stick with their wives who being manipulated by Bhim Rao and Rama were. Joshi asked them to teach their wives how to behave. He said that men must always have an upper hand, be superior to women. Hitesh asked the men to learn something from Joshi. Joshi was ready to revenge Bhim Rao by using the chawl members.
