The episode starts with Ghoshi throwing food at Bhim Rao. The teacher scold Ghoshi for thrashing clothes of a lower caste who cannot afford a lot. He asked Bhim Rao to complain about them to the principal. Guruji cam, the professor asked everyone else to scatter, he left as well. Guruji question Bhim Rao for not reacting. Bhim Rao was in confusion, he wondered that why what the professor was teaching them in class about the articles didn’t apply here. The food Ghoshi threw first hit his clothes than fell to the floor. Guruji told him to question his professor for that. He took him home.

Rambai was busying vegetables, few women hovered her over for being a lower caste. In doing so, the woman’s chain fell in the gutter. She pressurized Ramabai to take it out, Ramabai refused.

Bhim Rao came, the man asked him to take the chain out. Ramabai asked him not to. Since the lower caste were so disgusted by the lower caste and their mess than why would the woman wear a gold chain that came out of a gutter. The people pressurized Ramabai and Bhim Rao. As man took some contaminated water out of the gutter, threatened to put that on Ramabai. Bhim Rao agreed to take the chain out. Ramabai didn’t want him to do so. Bhim Rao recalled his past experiences and went in the gutter covering his nose. He fully went inside the water and searched for the chain, stopping his breath. He came out. Ramabai tried to clean the dirt of him as she wept. She questioned Bhim Rao for going inside the gutter. She felt the same pain he was going through while in the drain. Bhim Rao asked her to leave.

She asked where they were going, they were running late for home. Bhim Rao couldn’t afford to go home in this condition, he won’t be able to lie. The caste system was same everywhere. He didn’t want to hurdle Ramji or Annand. Ramabai questioned how they will go home. It rained, which washed Bhim Rao’s clothes.

Anand’s wife inquired about Ramabai’s return from the market from Daliya ama.

Bhim Rao and Ramabai were sitting on some footsteps. Ramabai never understood husband – wife relation until today when Bhim Rao sacrificed for her. she promised to face every problem for her. meanwhile a man came, he gave them peanuts. Bhim Rao refused as he didn’t have money, he gave it to Ramabai for free because it was the first time, he met Bhim Rao’s wife. Ramabai questioned how that man knew Bhim Rao and whether he came here before. Bhim Rao said that he met him in a library. He met Guruji there as well. He wanted Ramabai to meet Guruji as well. Bhim Rao was set to go home. Ramabai asked what he must tell Jijabai. Bhim Rao asked her to tell that she was eating peanuts with her husband. Ramabai replied that Jijabai would school her for that. She would take that for her husband who went in a gutter for her.

Annands’ wife and the neighbors were worried about Ramabai. Daliya ama asked someone to go outside and check for her. Jijabai refused to find someone who was that irresponsible. Ramabai came, she gave everyone her stuff. Everyone asked why she was left. Daliaya ama said that she must have went to Bhim Rao’s college. They recalled the incident.
