Shishupal asks the shop owner to hit him but Bhim requests him to stop while pleading with everyone to tell him the shop owner slaps Shishupal who just keeps standing there meanwhile Meghnat sees how Bhim is trying to get out, he says it is all happening to due to Bhim because his son was like a lion but has now become weak and the small shop owner has slapped Shishupal who is bearing it without uttering even a single word, Meghnat leaves furiously. Shishupal asks the owner why he stopped and should slap him again, Bhim says it is enough but the shop owner slaps him over and over again while Bhim keeps requesting him to not do it. Bhim gets disheartened.
In the night Bhim is sitting with Rama thinking about when Shishupal was slapped by the shop owner, Rama asks him to come
Shishupal tells Shamla that these slaps were nothing less than sweets and truth be told he has felt very nice after being slapped as he thinks all of the bad ideas have gone away so now he would put some good things in his mind which he will start right now. Shishupal takes out the pen and notebook telling Shamla he has borrowed them, informing he has understood Bhim and his ideas but now wants to find out about the education that Bhim talks about, as whenever he used to pick his stick then Bhim would talk of education so he also wants to find out how this education is superior then the stick, he asks Shamla to teach him as he even needs to study.
Bhim tells them that Shishupal left the stick which is why he got weak but now needs education to fill the void as only then would he get strong and not be weak in front of anyone, Ramji asks them to come back home.
Jaggu returns to the Chawl and asks Phulari to take the clothes, he says that Bhim has started a new trick by trying to teach Shishupal to learn because he has lost his age and now Shishupal would study after being married. They all start laughing, Rama asks why they keep coming after them as there is no time to study, Karuna says now they both have started and would tell the differences between their ideas, and Lakshmi questions why does she not go to sleep. Phulari explains that Bhim has ruined the life of Shamla and Shishupal because had he left them then Shamla would have also lived with her husband like them all but Bhim has ruined their life.
Shishupal asks Shamla to teach him but she runs out of the hut crying and Shishupal tries to follow her when Meghnat stops him asking if his wife ran away and is Shishupal going after him, Shishupal says that his wife is not related to Meghnat then why is he concerned so should go back to sleep but Meghnat replies when he sees any man following his wife then he gets furious because a man should be so furious that women accept his order with just one call, Shishupal says that if according to him being a man is to make everyone realize they are weak then he is a not a man, he demands Meghant to leave his hand who pushes Shishupal on the floor saying he should only stay on the floor as this is what he is worth off, Shishupal gets up and removes the dirt.
Ramji asks everyone to go and sleep as it is the thought of Bhim that Shishupal should learn but they all think he should not learn when it is a heinous thought, Meera says they should leave, and Jaggu replies they would go to sleep and even watch a dream but are not like Bhim who sees the dream with open eyes and prays it even becomes true, Manohar tells Bhim to see what happens in the future as today Shishupal has just been slapped but in the future, they would just have tears in their life due to the pressure of the society.
Shamla comes to the Chawl calling Bhim who gets worried seeing her cry and asks what happened but she does not say anything, Phulari asks if Meghnat has not killed Shishupal that she is crying but Shamla replies he has just been born, Rama does not understand so Shamla says that Shishupal came with a book and pen saying he wants to study and be like Bhim, she asks if Bhim can understand it as she is very happy that she started crying and does not know what to say. Shoba asks Shamla to tell them all that her husband wants to study, Deepak says how Bhim told them that if Shishupal was educated then no one could have slapped him, Meera further says they even said what would Shishupal learn in this old age when Shishupal coming explains he will surely study, even when he has gotten old so it will take time but even then he will study and learn. Jaggu tells Shishupal that Bhim is mad and is he also and, Shishupal tells Jaggu that when he was coming here, his father pushed him so he fell on the ground but his father has never pushed Bhim Rao like this, it is only because of the education.
Sethji sitting on the stairs thinks that Bhim Rao has a lot of weight as he becomes a way and thinks that this is why Bhim Rao cannot be pushed and people like Meghnat have to throw the oil to push him. The elder brother comes asking what he said, Sethji tells the elder brother that it is very difficult to ruin Bhim now as he has become very strong, the elder brother pushes the hat Sethji saying he should let go of this thought as only people like him and Meghnat are strong.
Shishupal replies that this is why he wants to learn when Jaggu questions if he would learn from his wife, Rama asks if he does not have a problem then what do they care and should just go to sleep. Shishupal asks Shamla if she will teach him to which she agrees, Bhim tells Shishupal that he will come in a moment, and he walks back to the house. Jija Bai asks Karuna to come inside and give the food to Bala while they all should do whatever they desire. They all are still standing outside.
