In this episode Bhim Rao questioned Ramji. He informed Bhim Rao that he asked Manjula for money to buy his books Manjula gave her gold chain. He desired to return that gold chain but couldn’t. he felt more pain seeing her daughter’s wounds. He promised to get her a gold chain.
Jijabai asked Manjula what happened. Meera asked Manjula to relax, Rama took her to a room.
Bhim Rao spent the entire night recalling what Ramji told him. Manjula came and questioned him. Bhim Rao said that books shouldn’t be expensive enough for someone to sell their gold chain. Manjula didn’t want him to know. She said that his 15 days of suspension were over, he must go to college. Bhim Rao replied that his sister’s return to her home was more important. Manjula disagreed, Bhim Rao’s
Ramji brought milk. Jijabai said that he should have asked someone else to get the milk. He replied that Bhim Rao was studying late. Jijabai said that he always has something to save Bhim Rao. Ramji asked her for her gold earring. Jijabai questioned, suspected he needed it for Bhim Rao’s education. She refused to help. Ramji said that he was asking it for Manjula.
Rama understood Bhim Rao’s pain. She wanted to give her jeweler and get Manjula’s gold chain back. Bhim Rao refused because it wasn’t something he gave to her.
Jijabai said that jewels were guardians of a woman’s future, Ramji didn’t buy her them, she refused to help him. Asked Ramji to value his other children as well. Ramji was apologetic for asking help from Jijabai, he had high hopes from her. Ramji said that he wouldn’t forget this day.
Bhim Rao told Rama that he would plan something else for Manjula’s gold chain, but wont take Rama’s jewelry. Manjula didn’t want anyone to get in trouble for her. Bhim Rao was leaving for college, Manjula asked her to wear Ramji’s coat. She insisted, Bhim Rao wore the coat.
Anand asked Lakshmi about the jewelry. Lakshmi said that Anand had never bought her anything, his father gave her the jewelry she has. She refused to help, said that Bhim Rao should worry about it. Anand was disappointed, he thought that after all this time, Lakshmi would help him, but she didn’t.
Bhim Rao while going to college recalled his brother sister bond with Manjula. Joshi approached him. He decided to tell new information about Bhim Rao. He told them about Ramji serving under Joshi, Madhvi being found in an unsuitable place and Manjula returning home after being beaten. Bhim Rao wrote something him, handed Joshi the paper. He left.
Joshi read the paper, Bhim Rao said that he would become a barrister. He asked him to focus on his study and become a barrister as well rather than wasting his time arguing in public place. Joshi washed his hands afterwards.
Meera asked Ramji not to work today, he was ill. Anand, Meera and Puranjan stopped him. Ramji refused and left.
Joshi came to Bhim Rao, said that becoming a barrister was beyond Bhim Rao. A Barrister’s coat, post and office was higher for Bhim Rao’s caste. Bhim Rao replied that he was wearing already wearing a coat. he would get a Barrister’s position with effort which he wrote on the paper thinking that it might reflect Joshi. Joshi refused to be lectured, he would decide what he wish to do in his life. Bhim Rao replied that he was also the decision maker of what happens in his life.
Precap: Joshi tells Ramji that Bhim Rao left mid class. Meera calms Manjula, they will find a way out. Jijabai says that everyone believes Bhim Rao, he would find a solution. Bhim Rao informs Rama that he would work until he gets Manjula’s gold chain back.
