Bhimbai requests the villagers to let them be but they refuse to leave them alone. Bhimbai says the ones you are missing will be here soon. They decide to wait and watch everything from far.
Ambedkar Guru ji tells the boys something in mute. Bala is holding a suitcase in his hand.
Anand and Bala bring back the childhood memories of Bhaskar’s SIL (the books and stuff). She reminisce old times and how she was brilliant in studies and sports. They request her to help them in stopping this marriage as Manjula wants to study. She is equally brilliant. They share that they met Bhima who advised them to speak to her as she would understand Manjula’s situation well. Her MIL enters just then. She reprimands the boys and is about to throw her DIL’s certificates away but her DIL stops her. She gives fitting replies to her MIL. She takes her inside to teach her a lesson.
Bhimbai wonders why Ram ji and the kids have returned yet. They notice Ganga just then. Bhimbai asks about Ram ji, Tulsa and Bhima. Ganga’s eyes well up. I sent Bhima from there 3 days ago.
Bhaskar’s mother taunts her DIL in front of everyone. She is telling me to be ashamed just because she is educated. The boys try to defend her but in vain. Bhaskar’s SIL supports the boys. I have never met Bhima but he sent the mementos of my childhood to me to think what I should have done if I was in their sister’s place. If that was true then I feel that this wedding shouldn’t happen. Her husband tries to slap her but Bhaskar holds his hand. You are not doing anything great by hitting your wife. You don’t tie an animal and hit it. She is still a human. His SIL says I dint study so all my accomplishments get locked up in a suitcase. My parents sent me to school with lot many aspirations. I too wanted to live but now I am nothing more than a meek slave. She speaks of the ill-treatment she has received here. education would have made me strong if I was still strong but I am nothing more than a helpless wife and DIL since I stopped studying. They told me that Manjula is way more talented. She too will lose hope if she stops her studies today. Her dreams will also be locked inside a suitcase eventually. I dint have a brother like them. They are trying to stop this marriage and I will support them. I don’t care if you all kill me in the process. His FIL claps. Killing you wont help us. Your MIL will take care of you. She holds her DIL’s hand tightly. Bhaskar’s father tells him to sit. Bhaskar complies. His father ties a turban around his head.
Ganga says I sent Bhima back 3 days ago as you must be worried. I told him I will reach on the wedding day. He agreed but I realised the truth when Baba came home to get him. I don’t know where he is. Bhimbai asks about Ram ji. Ganga shares that he is looking for Bhima. He has sent me here to tell you that the wedding should happen as planned. He will bring Bhima home.
Bhaskar’s father says we must take care of the boys. A guy suggests an idea. Kids should be taught their boundaries. They should realise that they shouldn’t intervene in the matters decided by elders.
Bhimbai says a small kid is making his family dance on his tunes. I know he has planned this well so the wedding wont happen. You have instigated your brothers as well. She tells Ganga what Bala and Anand did last night. Why can’t Bhima understand his Aayi? Your Baba will also not find Bhima. He is hiding so no one is present in the wedding and it gets cancelled. Ganga says Baba has clearly said that this wedding shouldn’t stop. Bhimbai nods. It will happen as planned. I will see who will stop it! She sends Manjula inside.
Manjula is sitting sadly in a corner. Ganga asks her if she too wants what Bhima wants. Manjula says it doesn’t matter what we want but he doesn’t understand. Ganga nods. He wont listen to anyone. Manjula asks about Tulsa. Ganga says I was looking for Bhima on my way. I will bring her to your home later on. Manjula asks Meera about Anand and Bala. Meera says there is no news so far. Everything will be fine. Bhabhi is right. They are in this together.
Precap: The same guy brings Anand and Bala home. Ganga’s husband tells the guy he did the right thing. Leave them here and bring Baraat. Bhaskar says no Baraat would come. He enters with his Bhabhi and is probably holding the shagun in his hands.
