Puran walks straight to stand in front of them all inform he had gotten work on the same day he went from here but he got so busy that he did not come, however today brought the sweets for them seeing which Meera tells the question of Jija Bai, Jaggu and everyone else got wrong and they should ask Jija
Shishupal and Shamla walk out when he says he would leave to search for work after giving this pudding and she also says she will leave to find work. Shishupal walks ahead but Meghnat says that he will not have the pudding, Shishupal replies he would go and give it to Bhim, Shishupal replies he knows that Meghnat would not have it, he then asks what is the second one for, Shishupal remembers that Sethji came to give him food, Shishupal replies he will give them both to Bhim but Meghnat says that the Seth of Bhim has also supported him so he should give it to him however if they stay away from their own people then even this pudding becomes poison, Shishupal leaves angrily and Shamla also turns back, Meghnat says that he knew if they give women too much freedom then a person changes from living in a brick house to a hut and ever since Shamla came into the life of Shishupal then this belief has been cemented however Shamla turns back, Meghnat thinks if he hits Shamla in the head then she would get mad and Shishupal would just look after her, Meghnat starts following Shamla while holding the stick when she is not aware, he prepares to hit her with all his force however Shamla stops the stick seeing which Shamla gets shocked, saying that the house becomes a place of war if they trust a women but they are not habitual of attacking from behind and she did not ruin his house, while his house just had wrong and she came as being the right thing and then a war started. Meghnat says she should tell Shishupal that he tried to hit her, Shamla says had she tried to separate them then would have left but she has a hope that he would himself invite them both, Meghnat replies it will never happen but Shamla says how Bhim mentions that hope has a lot of power and can make anything happen, Meghnat leaves angrily after throwing the stick.
Bhim is working when Sethji asks Bhim what does he do if he gets angry of the same person whom he loves, Bhim says Sethji is talking of his relation with his elder brother when the worker says Sethji is making a mistake talking with Bhim, Sethji asks the worker who replies he does not know what to say between him, Bhim says this is the problem as those from upper class feel that people like him can never talk of good, Sethji says that he feels Bhim can say it and so wants him to tell the answer when Bhim replies that he feels they should always talk about love and forgive his brother. Shishupal coming to the door says then they should have something sweet to eat, Shishupal says that the two people who brought food for him are the ones for whom he has brought the first thing that was made in his kitchen, Bhim mentions Shishupal made a mistake as three people work here and so he asks Shishupal to even serve the worker, Sethji tells the worker that the person whom he was trying to disrespect is thinking of serving him, the worker gets furious saying he neither wants to work here nor would stay here, Shishupal asks Bhim to let him go as he was just like the worker and believes that he would also realize the truth, Shishupal leaves to search for some work. Bhim serves Sethji who asks Bhim to search for some worker from the main road.
Meghnat tells everyone that they should not give any work to Shishupal as only then would he realize that it is very difficult to work and have something to eat, they all agree with Meghnat who advises them to forget Shishupal is his son, he coming says they all should indeed forget he is the son of Meghnat but should just think he needs work and they should give him work but all the people refuse to give him work however one of them says he will give the work. The Seth comes ahead when Shishupal says he should indeed give the work when the Seth says he has a condition, Shishupal agrees to the condition, when the Seth says that Shishupal had slapped him five times for not paying the amount so he would also give him work in the same place but then slap him. Bhim is shocked hearing it and asks what is he talking about, Meghnat says that it is good Bhim came and should himself see the condition of Shishupal, in what condition he is standing because a normal shop keeper is talking about slapping him when he himself is not worthy to stand. Shishupal replies the thing is they get what they have done, Shishupal says he is ready when Bhim asks what is eh talking about but Shishupal replies these five slaps would punish him for the things that he ahs done, he asks the shop owner to slap him but Bhim requests Shishupal to come as he would get Shishupal a job in the newspaper. Shishupal then ties the hands of Bhim against the wooden stick, telling the shop owner to slap him now but give the job, Bhim requests the shop owner to not slap him but he instead slaps Shishupal, who does not say a word but is furious.
