The episode begins with Vaipal asking Jijabai to unite, Hitesh, Joku and Janardan agrees. They cannot let Bhim Rao pass his examination, Vaipal tells them to fight like a warrior. Hitesh and others chant to have Bhim Rao fail.
Guruji on his way receives a letter, a personal and one from college. Guruji reads a letter sent to Bhim Rao which invites him to celebrate his graduation, if he passes, since Bhim Rao would be the first one of his caste the thus should be made a symbol or others of his caste.
Rama and Lakshmi invite Karuna home with Ramji. Meera sends Anand and Bhim Rao over to bring Bala as well. They convince Bala to come. Jijabai and Hitesh look at them with hate.
Bala watches over Bhim Rao studying. Anand requested Bala not to say anything regarding his
Phuliya shows Daliya, Meera, and Shoba the laundry she got. Joku tells his fellows that he couldn’t stop, a woman gave Phuliya laundry. Hitesh suggests ruining the clothes, so that Phuliya loses her confidence to work. Everyone helps Phuliya wash the clothes. Meanwhile Hitesh tells Joku the plan. Joku waits for the sun to set.
Guruji looks at Bhim Rao’s letter, knowing that a teacher gives lessons to endless students but a few of those students perform well while there a rarely any students who become a symbol of pride for their teachers. Guruji is lucky to have Bhim Rao as his students, now he knows what his other teachers would feel like. Guruji hears Vaipal crossing by with Shishupal saying that Vaipal should focus on his education more that Bhim Rao’s. Shishupal questions. Vaipal tells that Guruji is a teacher in college, a member of upper caste but supporter of Bhim Rao. Shishupal question Guruji, tells that it wouldn’t look good if both Bhim Rao and Vaipal stood side by side to get their degree. Vaipal knows that Guruji is a man of culture. Guruji tells that there is no society when it comes to knowledge. Vaipal should worry about his studies to instead of failing Bhim Rao. Vaipal tells Guruji that Bhim Rao will fail.
Karuna calls everyone for dinner. Rama loves the smell. Ramji praises the food, Rama, and Lakshmi as well for cooking delicious meals. They all eat dinner together. Everyone leaves hearing Hitesh shout about fire. Jijabai stays behind and mixes something in Rama’s plate. Rama would be in severe pain after eating this, wants to see how Bhim Rao would go for his examination.
Phuliya cries for her clothes that burnt. Hitesh taunts her fate to be quarrelling, she lost her first business. Meera knows that Hitesh must have done this. Lakshmi is sure as well. Hitesh questions, he didn’t do anything and Joku has been asleep since noon. Rama remembers that Phuliya put the clothes inside. Phuliya runs upstairs. Bhim Rao and Anand lecture them about losing in a battle fought for a wrong cause. Hitesh leaves. Daliya leaves to check on Phuliya. Ramji takes everyone inside for dinner. Meera and Shoba stand beside the burnt clothes.
Hitesh tells Joku that the clothes he burnt have been turned to ashes. Janardan and others laugh. Joku would have a peaceful sleep tonight, Phuliya would suffer for snatching his customers after paying the debt for burnt clothes.
Daliya knocks at Phuliya’s house begging her to open the door. Phuliya sat in despair.
Jijabai watches Rama eat her food, hoping for the medicine to work.
